Today was a busy day, with the commissioning of new ships and the regular scuffles. After a false alarm from the corsairs in Sigma-13 that were detected by long range scanners the real threat showed it's ugly head. The Vineta, Lt.Guntram and myself moved in to engage a Outcast destroyer. Guntram and I focus our fighter's guns on the shield while the Vineta steadily pouned the destroyer's hull. It was a well fought battle, but he couldn't resist the knocking of the Vineta for long and his hull eventually crumbled around him.
As if the excitement from the first attack wasn't enough, while Guntram and Commander Richthofen were in Omega-15 getting the Commander's new Light Fight registered, my bomber came under attack by the same destroyer again. I wasn't even expecting it, but it seems I finished my bomber just in time his surprise attack was in vain and he was quickly destroyed before backup even had a chance to arrive, love my trusty novas.
Yes this does seem ridiculous an outcast wasting all his money about 175,000,000 in wasted equipment, now that really is sad. Now I was hoping for some down time after all this action, but Coalition Commander Ares and his corsair companion Enyo arrived in Stuggart. I arrived to backup Captain Meric Freelamen, along with Lt.Schprockets we engaged the pair right outside the planet. After about two minutes of twisting and turning Ares was downed. Due to the many guns on him exactly who got credit for the kill is undecided. Soon after Ares falling Enyo ran home, we were sadly not able to capture her.
Now Captain Meric Freelamen was the first to arrive home in New Berlin where he was again attacked by an outcast destoryer. The foolish destroyer didn't expect Lt.'s Guntram, Schprockets, an RM-BDM gunboat, or myself to arrive seconds later. Once again the fool was taught a lesson about the might of the Rhienland Military. I was sent off by Captain Freelamen to report this to our superiors before the list got any longer. Overall today was a major success , the Light Fighter squadron is nearly up, my bomber was successful in registering and claiming a kill, and not to mention the several engagements today without a single loss.

Busy its been tonight in Rheinland. I launched from Planet New Berlin on board the Vineta to find a pirate fighter under the comm signature as 'Pedro_Estoban'. His Titan was destroyed almost instantly as he tried to get docking clearance on the Planet.
The next pest that passed by thought he could transport Artifacts through our space. Unfortunetly his ship managed to get clearance on to the planet before his ship was destroyed. Amigo7 flys a Kusari Gunboat and is now under a 2 million credit fine.
New Berlin began to go silent, local traders passing by. Until a transmission came over comms, Bundschuh-Dachshund began sending communications. I found his ship next to Essen station, a fighter. His ship was quick and had trouble getting a locked target, but was destroyed soon afterwards.
Just as I returned to the Planet to continue my patrols, two TBH fighters we're attacking civilian ships. My Cruiser engaged and they returned fire. Their fighters we're were taking a beating, and one was successfully shot down. The other ran after his comrade died, he began to flee to the Dresden jumphole. While he came in range of the jumphole a Corsair Gunboat named 'Templar' came in to range and followed him out of system.
As I returned to the tradelanes in New Berlin, two GC fighters decided to pick a fight, their comm signatures showing as Marzoruki Kimozashi and Mariko Kiku I engaged and did damage where I could. But they we're doing more damage to me. I began to run low on resources, the fighters we're to quick for my turrets to make hits, my missiles to slow to come in contact. The Vineta began losing its hull. Until the Corsair Gunboat from earlier returned and fired apon the GC fighters. Why he was assisting my cruiser is still uncertain, but I kept firing. One of the fighters went down, and then the other. The gunboat attempted to flee but I could not let a Corsair pirate run free to hunt civilians another day. I opened fire and his gunboat was destroyed.
My Cruiser has been badly damaged and is currently docked on Planet New Berlin undergoing repairs.

The current load-out for my ship has been combat tested in a live fire operation against a Corsair gunboat ID'd "Templar". After fierce resistance and the destruction of Dieter Schproket's ship it was by my crew's weapons that the enemy was eliminated. I believe we finished without losing any of our shield batteries and with 69 nanobots remaining. We found no escape pods. This leads me to believe that the captain and crew may still be at large.
The Wasser and its sister, the Feuer, have completed load-outs that are completely efficient in nearly every way.

Ex-Commander Miles Cadre Reporting.
Well, I was scraping the last of the bumper stickers from my Wrath (Rheinland Military didnt want them to stay...) when all the sudden, I hear a distress call in space. Pirates inbound from Sigma 13. I hop in my Wrath, and get ready for a long fight.
In orbit, I immediately go to Sig 13 jump hole and engage the pirates. After being ordered to return to planet side by Captain Meric, I await further orders from the commanding officers. Then, the Westphalia shows up.
We engage in a long battle, keeping the pirates close to the capital ships while Dieter, Gerhard, and myself engage the fighters. Gerhard was fraged immediately. Dieter lasted a long time against the light fighters, but he was fraged as well. Targeting their weak spot, I continue the engagement, to find my stock of Bots are depleted! A quick radio to the Westphalia, and our holds are refilled. For another 10 minutes, we are engaged, until something hit my ship, and destroyed everything save 2 silver fires. But do I retreat? NEVER! I continue to engage and they STILL have trouble killing me until I run out of bots again, and accidentally run into the glowing green blast of energy that originated from the Westphalia.
My wrath, which had see so much duty, is now destroyed. Oder said they would try to patch it up, but they are begining to doubt that it is repairable. The shipyards on New Berlin offered a newer Wrath, with advanced features, but I am sad to see my old friend go in such fashion.

That little wrath had seen combat from assisting KNF in Honshu against the Nova invasion, to countless patrols in Rheinland. It had served the Faherland well, and may it rest in peace. I must take a moment of silence to honor this little vessel.
