aerelm, go take a chill pill. If you don't know the events about which we are talking, then I suggest not responding to our feedback at all. There are members in the Benitez which do know what we are talking about. If you weren't there, as you yourself said, I suggest you take your wall of text rage-response somewhere else.
The claims are these. While we were under attack from 2 Legates, 2 Cruisers and about 7 fighters, the Benitez made very little to none effort to tell the "big boys" to stand down. In fact, they attacked us alongside them. Which is a rather poor display for an official faction that is respected amongst the Sair indies.
When there were only 2 of us left, myself included, Mateo did in fact command the Legates to stand down. Mostly because, well, I bet a 11 v 2 looked pretty damn stupid. I am simply stating that that command could have happened sooner, but instead they chose to join on the attack. That would be all.

Well, this is not a feedback thread for my faction, but as a long time and (I hope) respected leader of the Corsairs, I am going to put my two cents in here, take it for what you think it's worth.
Having spent many, many, many...many hours in Gamma in my time, I have experianced the frustration of trying to deal with indies, who may not speak english well, or who may speak english well and just not care about fair play. It;s very hard, and trying to do it every single time something happens is a sure way to burn yourself out on Disco. You dont know what was going on in private, you dont know what happened the day before, or the hour before. I can tell you, the constant raids get tiresome, and sometimes, you just want it done, and if that means not calling off some idiot indies, so be it.
My other point would be to ask the people complaining if you got in touch with anyone in Gamma before launching your raid? I would suspect the answer to that is no. So even though you didnt do anything to bring about a sense of community and fairplay in this situation, you are going to critisize the other side for not doing anything either. If you want a fair fight in Gamma, the best, most effective way to do it is to get in touch with people in Gamma before you come and set up a fair fight. I assume you didnt do that, I may be wrong, but after years of playing as a Corsair, I would put as significant amount of money of you not having done that.
So, to sum up, you are giving "feedback" (which in disco is rarely feedback, and more often Q_Qing) to the Benitez for not fostering a situation of fairplay in Gamma by calling off indies that they have no control over anyway, while you yourself did none of the things you could have done to create a fair fight.
You should only throw stones at other people after having thrown many stones at yourself.

Back to the faction feedback:
I have to add that Pepe did a good job in organizing a group who did missions again destroyer NPCs.
Good chance as an indy to get in touch with other factions.

No, you see, you got it wrong Zelot.
I don't know what happened in private chat between the indies and Benitez, but I know this. The Benitez came, and joined in on the fight, along with the indies. After about 10 minutes into said fight, one of the Benitez (Mateo if I'm not mistaken) finally told the Legates and cruisers to back off. And guess what? They did it.
He yelled it out two times, but yea, they did it. Now, you see, you didn't get my point. My question was, why did they not do this when they arrived? Instead of doing it right away, the joined in on the fight. After said minutes (and a few of our rages in the chat) they must have remembered, or something.
So you see, the Legates CAN be dealt with, they dissengaged after two sentences from the Benitez. My above question was the only one (along with a troll, but, whatever >_>).

Not throwing in some crappy comments like "lol soz i laughin so hard XD" or "lol benitez musta gotten bs out! DX"... See my point? The Manner you write your 'Feedback' in is what that counts... If I wanted to answer your troll posts with trolling, I could easily do that, But I at least have some respect for a 'Feedback Thread' and all those who post in it, not to make it look same as Flood.
So please, in future, If you want to post an Actual Constructive Feedback - No matter in This thread or any other - Keep the post Troll-Free, because your torlol rubbish ruins the whole point of the point! Oh, and... If you get nailed down by the Benitez Osiris next time you enter Gamma, don't come here QQing cause it would be as per your own request!And, Most important Note: My Comments on this last 'incident' were my own Personal Opinions, not the 'Official Response' from the Benitez Faction. The Benitez Elders are currently looking into this matter and will most probably post an official statement on behalf of the Benitez Faction if they see fit.

Your criticism seems to be that you feel the Benitez did not make enough of an effort to prevent a number of other non Benitez cap ships from shooting at you.
We have understood your request, although in real terms I am not sure what there is that we can do to prevent the Indies behaving as they have done.

I would now like to request that this topic is allowed to go back to being a "feedback" topic for the Benitez, and not a broader discussion on either the behaviour of Independant Corsairs, raids by Outcasts in to Gamma or anything else that does not relate directly to the Benitez faction.

Had an encounter with one of the Benitez clan today, one I don't wish to repeat, ever.
Rp was ok and all and they did keep their word.... but it wasn't what could called a 'pleasant' experience.
Next time I plan on running away, just as fast as I can.
I'm putting this particular encounter down to;
a. having a horrible cold
b. not really being awake enough to make any sort of decision because of medication
c. just plain stupidity on my part due to notes a & b.
