RE: Turn off POB Damage due to Unstable Servers - SnakThree - 04-17-2014 No, you didn't get what I say. I meant that logically, PoBs should be restored. But it is not a mandatory thing to do. As in, admins are not forced to do. I have no opinion of indians, since I only had one encounter I can remember. Peace. Chill. RE: Turn off POB Damage due to Unstable Servers - Hone - 04-17-2014 Well normally if base damage was turned off, the entire base should be turned off till the servers ok, cos its not fair to have wep platforms gate blocking/factories/ore storage/miner quickdocking available at no cost. But if bases are being hacked, and therel be a rollback, well who knows/cares WHAT happens now? RE: Turn off POB Damage due to Unstable Servers - NOVA-5 - 04-17-2014 I suspect skulduggery...Restore & give them back what they denieth! This could even be accomplished pretty quickly by opening up a backup file from before the trouble began and pasting the backup directory over the active one and saying no to overwriting any existing files (when a base is destroyed its file is automatically deleted). Whether or not they should do this is another matter, but at least I can say it is possible. Trust me I hope I'm wrong. I hope they can restore what needs to be restored without rolling it back. With so many bases that have gone down, I hope its still that easy to bring them back. I think we can now safely say there has been an outbreak of Gremlins in the Temple of the Damned... I hope from that one encounter you don't judge us and start thinking bad of us as some do. (04-17-2014, 09:18 PM)Tal Wrote: CGS is literally cancer. And then they call Indians cancer, maybe ''YOU'' should go home, wherever that may be. AND STOP HATING. I didn't post here to get hate and negative comments from people that hate Indians, but to make a reference that CGS|HQ was destroyed by cheaters as well!!! RE: Turn off POB Damage due to Unstable Servers - irritinus - 04-17-2014 less bases = less lag but also less cool stuff RE: Turn off POB Damage due to Unstable Servers - NOVA-5 - 04-17-2014 That's just utter shash, lags been here longer than the PoBs, they're just the whipping boy as an excuse for those that hate em, more like; more graphics = more lag, more hate = less love & care. I checked the neural net, and there wasn't anyone in that system. I can't recall the base being one of those listed as decaying. Just leaving this notice for reference, so that they can check if the loss of that base was legit. |
