RE: 2014's Survey - Haste - 12-18-2014

Not necessarily bad, just not nearly as ready for release as its developers seem to believe ):

RE: 2014's Survey - Hidamari - 12-18-2014

if ED had 200 systems or less, im lead to believe it would be 1000% better.

but 400 trillion billion squillion systems, 32 player instance and 2000 players total... :S pleeeeease..

Before I answer the poll, could you explain a few definitions you are using there:
-With "the new update" do you mean any new update, or something that is specific for this particular update? I wouldnt know what is special about this update, although I think there is generally room for improvements, so I welcome updates in general.
-What is different with the "new" developement cycle from the "old" one. As far as I can read back, devs always asked for people's opinions, said that they cared, and then after the update came, everyone complained that they don't care what the community says. I cant judge the dev cycle until I saw the result. Asking for opinions and ideas seems to have happened before too.

So I found that thread and sent a suggestion. Ye. Good idea as it looks, not sure about how it would actually work.

I would think if folks think star citizen is crap would point out an alternative. Its sorta terse to poo poo the subject when its not done.

Lucky for you I have a list of some licensed and some not too expensive engines we could utilise to make a from scratch iteration of disco. But keep in mind with a small team and part time labor it could be years.

At least the engines that won't have us playing it like habbo hotel in space.

Crafting a completely new game from the scratch is such a titanic quest that I don't even know..
