Who are you to think you could fit any of those positions?

RE: Official Notice - Development Team Strike - Jack_Henderson - 07-01-2016

Ninja, you clearly have no idea how progress is happening, who in the dev team is actually doing something and generally it seems you lack quite some experience to judge the dimension of this. No one can blame you there, as you seem to be rather new. But perhaps it would be better to somehow treat a little more carefully before making statements like "replaceable".

"Oh jeeze... I have NO IDEA why I was banned!"

They're not the first to say that, either.

They'd have to have done something so severe that the admins skipped to a permaban even after all members are supposed to have been given a clean slate...

I'm someone who will gladly do art quality control if it burdens him too much and if there is no one else to do it. (the newest "shattered fronts" loading screen wouldn't have passed my judgement)

There is a difference between "forgiven" and "forgotten".

When I slap you once, you may forgive me. You may say "ok I forgive you, the slate is clean".

But you're not gonna forget I slapped you before when I slap you a second time after that.

RE: Official Notice - Development Team Strike - Tabris - 07-01-2016

I support this strike as while I may have had disagreements with some of the banned individuals in question I believe in the following of our process, the individuals were banned under the cloak of darkness and secrecy which does not sit well with me as a person who values following a structured Process and knowing the 'other side' of the issue. I would ask that the whole issue be taken seriously by the Administration and considered honestly.

We should not live in fear, but in understanding and justice. It's what made me want to join the Moderation Team in the first place. I ask the Administration to please help me keep the faith I have in our structured process and reconsider the course of action that has been taken.

That is all I have.

Thank you.

I'm flattered. However, it isn't too much of a burden. I think you're entirely misunderstanding the purpose of this strike. It happens to be because like our positions very much and feel that the mod is threatened by recent events. I think this is my third or so time repeating this.

Taking my position would also require me to hand it to you or for me to be dismissed and you to be hired by @Teerin who is currently development lead.

On top of that, do you know the structure of a .cmp or an .ale? Do you know how to use any modeling software, how to UV map a model, or any other technical details that are necessary to do modeling for Freelancer? Are you aware of what constitutes a good model beyond looking at it yourself and thinking it looks cool?

Doubt it. Calm down, we're not going anywhere, nor are we doing anything until our terms are met.

Sidenote:

It didn't pass my judgement either, that was the result of Teerin harping on me about it for months on end, and once the strike is over I'd like to do an actual rendered scene in max instead of edited screenshots.

And knowing how to do that qualifies you as someone who decides who gets special treatment when they piss on people left and right of them?

You're simply not making any sense. They were given a clean slate on 6/8. What have each one of them done in this past month to warrant an indefinite ban? No one expects the admins to forget, but they did promise to forgive. I think part of the reason why the admin team has yet to deliver any evidence is because there is none from the last month to justify the bans.

I don't know until someone shows me the evidence. And I do hope they show everyone.

But right now my guess is that they showed that the "clean slate" was useless in improving their behavior.

Seriously man, there are people who didn't see any evidence for longer periods than before you guys started this sitstorm.

Stop the hypocrisy and stop pretending this is about anything else than them being people you care about more than other people.
