Dusty:

Aye, we've [color=#FF9900]scanned
all your [color=#33FFFF]Liberty
tech not to worry. My brother Alan got a good look at them and has made some impressive blueprints, LABC are being mass produced as we speak... Without your little booby traps.

Bye now.

@ Gheis. I have no idea how to post on topic to this thread. Everyone has Liberty Tech. It's a meme of sorts? The op isn't really discussing solutions, it's just a sort of rargleargle thread. Why it wasn't made in or moved at once to flood is somewhat beyond me. Ish.

Also, R2D2 stole the hearts and imagination of a generation. Which leads me to presume he could steal the Death Star plans if so pressed, which, as shown, demonstrates that I can steal a LABC.

Good..than my plan to steal a Hathor will succeed as planned, and right on schedual.....muhahaha

Me wonders if one can also steal from the Administrators on the Lost Battlestar...

And yes, you could steal from the admins. What would you want with a whole bunch of sanction notices though?

You'll find that was an act of war, and that they took the station by force. It was done quite differently to the examples in the OP.

I also can't remember whether that has happened, or is yet to happen by 4.86.

You forgot G/L technology stolen by Junkers for Gallia.

I stole it from Liberty! - Ipuvaepe - 10-07-2011

The more a technology is used, the more likely it is to be copied.

Look what happened to the B-29. Soviets forced it to land and within 2 years had their own mass produced copy of it. Granted their absolute lack of aerial refueling and forced use of thicker metal in construction meant that it weighed over a ton more and any bombing of the continental US would be a one-way mission, but a mass produced copy nonetheless. The RH have no such impedances.

that really proves the point of this thread. once people got a hold of something it can be taken apart and broken down the copied to excess.

real world examples of copies include: (mostly military tech mind you)
The Kalashnikov AK-47
The RPG-7
The AR-15 (also known as the M4A1. but mostly the receiver, its used in other weapons such as the MP5)
The Glock range
The Colt 1911
the Russian MIGs
Rolex Watches
Bessemer Cookware
the Shammy things which i call SHAM wows.
once something gets copied and then mass produced its flooded onto the market.
