Narcotic Notice
I haven't really played much since 2013. In the first place it was because of known lag problems, then learning for final exams, afterwards I was on holidays, and also had a long, sunny and eventful semester break, and lately we had them server attacks with lots of down times.
Now, for the first time in this year (after 5 months!) I've finally got some spare time to enjoy Disco. Also the sever attacks and lag seemed to be solved. Full of anticipation I installed Disco again, together with all the new fancy updates and looked forward to continue my roleplay, I've been building up in the Forums the last months, ingame at last.
The result wasn't quite satisfying. Here a few impressions from today:
I was so glad to have some decent ingame roleplay again after so long, and I got disappointed that much, that I'm writing this rage-quit-notice now. A dead reengaging Zoner Juggernaut in O55 that I had to report didn't quite improve my gaming experience, too. Also my sig rotator that worked the last two years broke today. Uni started today. I've failed an exam because of 2 of 90 points missing. And it rained the whole day, after not having seen a cloud the last two months. Plus, a student's flatshare one floor below me is having a party. It's 00:15 AM, and they're playing Gangnam Style in a loop right now - no end near. I can't even hear my own music through headphones anymore. I need to get up early in the morning. Depressing.
Normally I never do rage-quits, but I haven't been able to play properly for almost half a year anyways, so this probably won't change much. I'll keep roaming the forums nonetheless.
Oh and don't get me wrong. I didn't lost fun in playing Disco - not a bit since I came here - it just doesn't seem possible anymore. And that's sad. In a month I'll have my next exams and stuff until I'll be working full time in my holidays. So I might not play until end of October. I hope things will get better in another 5 months. Bummer. Just when roleplay got interesting again. Sorry.

Thank you. At times, I've spent as much time with searching fitting artworks as I did with writing the stories itself to be honest.
I just love to have something for the eyes, too.
Also, pictures do motivate people more to actually read something. Or if people don't like reading other's stories, they'll at least have pictures to look at.

Most exams are over now, and I've found more time to continue some of my roleplay stories.

Lee's struggle with his split personality and drifting into madness.
Maybe we'll see the Necrosis being more scary and kill on sight in future (or rather die on sight, considering my cap skill).

I've been having lots of exams, practical courses & work to do the last two months. And this probably won't change until the end of summer. I might log on rare occasions, whenever life gives me some spare time.
My problem with Disco is, that it's not made for the quick fun. Maybe it's just me, but to fully enjoy the game's potential, I feel like having to dedicate a huge amount of time to it. If I don't, it just feels bland and unsatisfying. Roleplaying requires dedication and time, of which I lack both currently. Yet I haven't lost any interest in Disco as a whole, it's just the current circumstances that won't allow me to be part of it anymore.
I suppose there's worse ways to (temporarily) leave Disco. Well then. See you later.
