He smiled at her, his teeth perfectly white and straightened. "I'd like another drink. Great thing 'bout Liberty Ale is that they go down easy. Y'all can keep drinkin' and not feel like crud after y'all are done." He began to tap at the bar with a pointed finger. The talons affixed to his feet, more under his feet given the bent knee design, curled up slightly.

She mentioned Eagles. "Now now now. I'm gonna' stop y'all there. The Eagle is a damn fine ship. Mine was in the best of condition. Mind y'all, it was made of duct tape, chewing gum, and bailing wire. But it worked! So don' be disrepsectin' y'all's ships." He began tapping his foot in rhythm to the music, the pointed tips of the talons clicking as they connected with the metal of the floor. His head swiveled and his eyes locked on hers, his lips turning up into a smile.

"Do y'all dance?"

Coral opened two Liberty Ales and handed one over to the Phantom.
"Cheers man!"

"The Eagle is indeed a fine ship. It's just like... it's ugly. And i don't like that. It's color.. well it should be black, just like yours. Needs to look a bit more threatening aswell. Just looks like the nice old lady next door."
She sips at her ale
"Don't get me wrong, i'm just sayin' it's not the best lookin' ship in Sirius. And i'd love to have something.. well.. different, every now and then. To bring color into your life, you know? Nah.. probably not."
She emptied the bottle with the next gulp.

"Yo, Martin! Mind to take over the bar for a sec? You can fix that light later." -she yelled at a young recruit that was just about to install a new light next to the toilets.

While trying to read any emotion on her guests face, Coral walked around the Counter, looking the Phantom straight in the eye.
"So.. HOW... i didn't say yes... yet. Just wanna know..HOW do you want to dance in that suit, huh? It doesn't look THAT flexible, and i'm a little afraid you'd accidently kill me with those.. spikes."

He smirked at her, "Easily. I just remove the heavier armor attached to the exoskeleton underneath." To convey this, he grabbed at his left pauldron, pinching at a certain part. A series of clicks responded to his touch, the pauldron detaching into his hand. He quickly set it on the bar, repeating with the other. His 'bare' shoulders were covered in armor, but it was more streamlined and looked muscular. Odd clamps were dotted about where they connected to the pauldrons.

He brought his hand up to the harness of his respirator, pulling it off and setting it by the pauldrons. "I ain't wearin' my combat gear. I'd definitely be larger if I was. As for my boots," He looked down at the taloned feet, "I'll be careful."

He tapped at his chin for a moment. "And I wasn' thinkin' any weird dance like the Flamingo or somethin'. Just the stuff they teach y'all in high school. Slow step?"

Coral was amused. She tried to stop that grin in her face, but she failed more then once.
'Now that's a Phantom?' she glanced a few more times at him.
"You don't look THAT scary anymore! You should've removed that much earlier!"
She smiled. Somehow he was making her feel attracted to him.
When she noticed that she blushed a little, she turned around and walked straight to the music box.

While looking for a rather slow song, she saw her face, reflecting into one of the music boxes steel panels.
'Sheees girl, get it together, you look like a frikkin' tomato!'
Coral made sure to not turn around before her face's color was normal again. And so, she was acting like she was still searching for a song.
"You know... i can't dance at all..."

Jara cleared a few chairs from a thirty-two square foot area, standing in the middle of it. "And neither can I. I just learned from what little I did at the prom. I still have some memories of it." He began to step left, left, right, then back. "Yeah. I think I got the hang of this."

He straightened his stance once again, curling the taloned toes against the base of their mounting. It'd suck to impale the foot of the girl you're trying to impress.

Still 'searching' for a song, Coral became a little nervous.
She couldn't explain what was just happening to her, and why. But she liked it.
It was an awkward but intense feeling. While daydreaming, she accidently pressed a button of the Music Box and the song started to play.

'Well done, idiot. Now he'll recognize how nervous you are.'
And no place to hide...

She stood up, looking down on the floor...

"Alright. Lets try.. Watch for those Talons! I'd miss my feet!" she said rather harsh, while still looking at the floor, straighten her hand into his direction, waiting for him to take the lead.

She felt the blood throbbing in her head... 'Would you finally start??!'
Glancing at the clock at the wall, the time seemed to stand still. Almost midnight. Two more hours.

It felt like an eternity.

He brought up a gloved hand, taking her right hand in his left. His fingers seemed to envelop her whole hand, the touch of his armor oddly warm despite the metallic material. He gently pulled her closer to him, using his right arm to put her left arm around his waste, his arm then going around hers. It looked awkward, seeing as he was so much more massive than she was.

He counted mentally to the rhythm of the music. Slowly, he found the beat. "One," he said calmly, slowly lifting his foot and stepping to the left, urging her to follow in step. She followed very closely, mimicking him perfectly.

"Two," He spoke again, taking another step to the left, this time a bit more quickly. She, just as before, followed perfectly.

"Three," He stepped to the back, drawing her back with him. It took only a fraction of a second for it to register in her mind.

"Four, five, six." They stepped right, right, then forwards. "Now we're gonna' do this in the opposite way. And it just sorta' repeats. Clear?" He looked down at her, smiling gently.

Ouray Inn (iRP) - Penpen - 07-24-2010

"Clear!"

Her mind was blown away, she was about to entirely trust him. It fle like floating away while just enjoying the fact of being alive. All her fears and thoughts were gone, she felt helpless but in a good way.
She already forgot about that mans history, his life, being a phantom.

Coral was daydreaming. She never thought she'd ever dance, nor that she ever dances with a Phantom.
While her thoughs seemed to disappear completely, she accidentally stepped on his foot.

Her face instantly became red like a tomato. She was staring at the floor, trying to focus. But then again she appeared to have forgotten what he just told her.

Coral sighed. 'You can kill Battleships with a Falcon but you can't dance.. shees what kind of girl are you?!'

He chuckled softly. "That's a first. Don' worry. I'm wearin' armor. I felt nothin'." He led her through a few more steps, speeding up to see if she could follow, which she did splendidly. Aside from the accidental foot step, she was doing perfectly.

His eyes were always focused on her, watching her expressions. Was it habit? Was it predatory? Was it scrutiny? He didn't even know. In his mind, the images of what he had lost played again and again, looping at certain intervals in his mind. The pleasure of gaining some one to be close to, even if for a moment, outweighed his care of the pain.

"Y'all're doin' good," He said softly, trying to remove some of the embarrassment from her face. She had sort of scrunched up, trying to make herself smaller, her muscles tightening up as if ready to run. A few moments in, she had eased up, but the tensions and the fear were still there. Why?

Ouray Inn (iRP) - Penpen - 07-24-2010

"I have no idea what's happenin' here man. You just somehow make me feel like a puppy that just peed on the floor and already started to feel bad about it" coral laughed. She forgot to dance for a second. She kneeled on the floor, laughing. She already had tears in her eyes.. this was so funny and awkward at the same time, but she couldn't help it.

"You know.." she then continued and reached for his hand again. "When i fled from 'hattan and joined the Xeno movement, i'd never imagined myself, dancing in a giant rock, floating through space. This is so odd."

"When i'm flyin', i'm free. That's me out there, i've got the situation under control. If i wanted it to change, i could."

A few moments of silence, and the Music Box started to repeat the song, with a loud cracking noise, for the fifth time.

"But now i'm kinda helpless. That's an odd situation. Though it's somehow familiar."
She sighed.
"I feel like i have to change, before i lose what's left."
