please convert it to a cmp / mat or a 3db

I would if I'd still have a 3D editing program. (and a clue)

why was it not submitted earlier - you know, when there was more time... - also .. contact AD to accept it via skype or PM - he is the one who will have to hitbox it - unless you did it.. also

is it hardpointed?

I haven't submitted it earlier because it isn't done.
3D modelling makes me weep , like literally.
I am about as technical as a dried out coconut.
Though I was making good progress with the model and understanding the 3D modelling stuff , my old pc's motherboard died.
After a month or so I bought a new pc but I don't even have Photoshop anymore.
Another (former) member of this community offered me to finish it,
but I don't wanna bother him with it anymore, especially not since he kind of dislikes this place now...

The model isn't done.
Sure it looks good , but it doesn't have any hardpoints.
It's not hitboxed.
It needs some serious texturing.
I am not sure if people want this model , and I am even less sure that someone wants to put time in finishing it.
So well that's all folks

tl;dr

This was a lie.
It's all Zelot's fault

While I wish I could boast of my artistic skills I'm afraid that Lex is the author of that terrific bit of tribute work. Bless his heart.

Still waiting for this model...

... don't make me go with Dusty's proposal. Big Grin

No, the skinning job by Durandal... I've yet to receive this model.

RE: Discussion: Corsair Transport "Placeholder" - Durandal - 05-25-2013

I'm kind of staying at a friend's place at the moment, between looking for a job and apartment that'll take a nineteen year old kid with no credit and no job, and a middle aged woman who works under the table and has bad credit, other stuff kinda takes priority. It'll be done when it gets done.

Besides, wasn't it already stated that this and some other stuff isn't getting into .87 anyway? Some arbitrary deadline or something I think?

[5/21/2013 6:23:29 PM] Fran (Ryummel): cus looks like plane
[5/21/2013 6:23:34 PM] Fran (Ryummel): wasn't even implemented yet

[5/21/2013 6:23:38 PM] Fran (Ryummel): cus out of deadline
[5/21/2013 6:23:40 PM] Fran (Ryummel): like another 7 ships

@Council VHF. Feel free to confirm or not.

So, folks, could it be an option that suits you? Mind, that model itself is just a scratch and it will be better when I finish her.
Come on, need your input on that.

First player beta, yes. And the deadline kinda has to be set so that the balance guys know what they have to work on/with. If you keep throwing changes at the mod it never gets released.

No rush, I know we're all doing this as a hobby. If it's not done in time, the placeholder will be just that, a placeholder until a better model is done.

[Edit] @Swallow: At first glance, nice model, but it doesn't really scream "Sair" to me. I'd need to see it textured. It reminds me more of a cruiser then a transport.
