' Wrote:Actually, guys, Zapp made a great comment here. I'm one of the people that did the challenging. Dusty did a great job of role-playing in the whole thing. But even so, the combat right now is down in the south-east side of Sirius. The =CR= is up in the North West side of Sirius. LOTS of room in between there, with other things to get involved in - this isn't the combat of the month club.

Aside from the fact that I almost fell off my chair laughing at that last sentence, I will point out that the Zoners are a faction that is a lifeline for many, many factions in Sirius, the CR included. You cant shoot a dairy cow and then tell someone they cant get angry at you because they didn't get their milk.

They could attack the Bounty Hunter Guard system as a diversionary assault? That's in the Omegas, right?

If the =CR= step into Omicron Gamma, you forfeit your lives.

Just a heads up. Don't bother the Corsairs while you're on this crusade.

In fact, the more you shoot the Bounty Hunters Guild, the less we'll remember how you made a cease-fire treaty with the Outcasts many many moons ago.

Why's that?

Just for my overall clarity of the situation.

Why would this be?

EDIT: Ninja'd by dusty...

Bloody hell, this entire community is a gorram kitchenware store when you think about it. Pots and kettles everywhere.

Operation Scarecrow. The Nemesis CV and it's accompanied Fighters being stationed in Omega 7 and then 11.

Operation Cradle. (the operation of the 88th Battlegroup before being relocated for Operation Scarecrow) The Nemesis CV and it's accompanied Fighters being stationed in Omicron Lost.

...
That much enough South-East for you?

And to your last sentence. That one you let the Colonials decide to what to get involved to or not.

Well, then I would expect you to agree then, based upon your comments, if for some reason the Corsairs decided to come up to Tau-37. As I previously said, Omega 7, sure, you have an interest there. Omicron-Lost? Seriously? We used to use that for our weekly combat battles because there is NOTHING there, other than a cute planet to sit around. F1'ing there is almost like staging out of Connecticut.

Hell, based upon that reasoning, Dusty should have no problems at all if the Mollies all decide to relocate to Ontario, since it's somewhere in Sirius and nowhere in their ZOI, either.

My point being that the CR is not a Sirius wide ZOI faction. You have no bases down here, so please explain with a link or two to your operations why you're down here in the first place.

In all seriousness the CR's offer to move on down to protect Zoner holdings is a bit "Hmmk, sure" and a bit "wut". The Zoners did put out a call to notice that the BHG is waging a war of aggression to seize territorial holdings outside of house space for its own use, a notion which would naturally interest the CR and IMG alike (nevermind that the ICMG have their own understanding with the Order, as do most groups who aren't in it for the profit/warmongering).

On the other hand it is a rather long ways away (7 systems, as opposed to the 5 from 15 that was enjoyed in 4.84) and the notion that they would be running off that way for the sure hell of being neighborly might raise a few eyebrows.

Maybe if they had something at stake, such as a claim on an iridium field or two.

Cough cough.

Hmm...I detect lots of straws and some serious amounts of clutching going on in the above statement. Moving on.

My sentiments exactly.
Is there any chance the CR could be given the chance to respond to the initial post (624) of this recent outburst in some official way rather than everyone else putting their two cents in?
I mean, it is their thread after all...
