SF Message Dump - legeonation - 04-16-2007

Incoming transmission to SF high command to clarify actions

Recent Red Hessian Pirate activity in the Stuttgart and Omega 7 systems has increased. This has resulted in the crippling of several Rhineland cruisers gunboats and civilian ships. The Red Hessians left these men to die, as they were set adrift by space. My battleship a Liberty Dreadnought (the Legeonation) was passing thought Stuttgart and Omega and picked up the life pods of these men. They were given safe taken to the planet Leeds in return that their story would not be disclosed to the public. Once at Leeds, the Rhineland officers were escorted the local Rhineland embassy. Once there they were very insistent on this issue as they did not want to start a wide spread panic of increased pirate activity in the systems between Bretonia and Rhineland.

So in short my crew and I have been sworn to secrecy in order to maintain confidentiality on the subject in an effort to avoid humiliating the Rhineland government. If you are offended in any way I apologize for my actions.

OOC in the Tag issue that was all OOC so that really had nothing to do with this. I joined a new Faction (see another posting on the message board) Ive been required to change my tag from one faction to another. Not to mention I already had to change up 3 or 4 tags already. The BMM tag was another one that was just at the top of the list. I really cant control which tag is displayed when changing tags.

Secrecy or not, you disobeyed a direct order to halt from an SF flagship within Bretonian space (not to mention SF's home system). Next time, comply with our requests since we do have several dealings with Rheinland and are on good terms with them. Delivering civilian personnel to the nearest safe harbour is normally the response with pirate attacks as well (believe writen onto the info cards as well).

OOC: Regarding the tag thing, k so BMM is the wrong tag...what is the correct tag supposed to be? And with regard to joining a new clan, k I see in the name change section mention of joining the HF with one of your chars, but is this char also part of the HF? In any case, these point are rather mute and simply clarify the status of your character for others. Current orders stand the same regardless, if you're found committing illegal activity in Bretonian space your vessel will be subject to arrest and may be fired upon.

Orders to: Kapitan von Rouke
CC to: Sirius Federation, Bretonian Guard
Comm ID: Admiral Krieg, Rheinland Military High Command

Kapitan, it is with pleasure that I’m giving you to the new, upgraded Bl?cher Class Cruiser, straight out of Alster Shipyard, Hamburg. This new ship boasts two Flack Turrets, two Missle Turrets, two converted Inferno Cannons, and five Cerebus Cruiser turrets, as per your requests. I hope this armament will allow you to complete your new, unique duties well. The name of this new warship is Prinz Eugen, and it is yours.

As you know, the Rheinland Military and the Bretonian Armed Forces have an Anti-Pirating Initiative in the Omegas, specifically Omega 5, Omega 41, Omega 3, Omega 11, and Omega 7. However, with recent attacks by Wraith, Unioners, Scythe, and numerous other insurgent forces, we’ve been lacking the manpower to effectively hold up our end of the bargan. You, and your ship, are the answer to this problem. You are hereby ordered to make hast to Alster Shipyard, take command with a skeleton crew, and sail to the Cambridge System, to place yourself under Sirius Federation Command. Here, you’ll be integrated into the SF’s Command Structure, and then carry out your mission.

Your XO, SF Commander Terrence Kirk, will be waiting with the remainder of your crew complement, 445 Officers and men. He has an exemplary record, including the captaincy of a Gunboat on the Kusari front as a Lieutenant-Commander, and has served as Chief Weapons Instructor on the Training Ship SFBS-Gibraltar. Both SF Command and I are sure that he’ll keep the Bretonian element of your crew under control, and stay out from under your feet. Yours is the heaviest cruiser in the SF fleet, matched only by their Frigates and Battleships.

Now, your mission. The Pirate activity in the Omegas, especially the corsairs, has gotten completely out of hand. The Squadron known as ‘The Brotherhood’, the Unioners, and the Phantoms have all been destroying or wrecking shipping for too long, and it must be stopped. Of special interest to us the death or capture of the Unioner known as Vlad. We estimate that he’s destroyed nearly one hundred shipping vessels of every size, and bounties have proven ineffective. This loon must be stopped, for though he is only one man, our intelligence shows that his famous efforts have so improved morale and recruiting among the Unioners that, for the first time since their creation, their numbers are actually growing. Find him, and stop him Kapitan, by whatever means necessary.

Now, there is an Armoured Transport in Bay 2D, specifically to ferry you to your new command. It will leave the moment you are ready.

Godspeed Kapitan, and good luck.

Admiral Krieg out.

Work is commencing on two new ships joining the SF fleet. The SFFG-ENDEAVOR will be an assault frigate working for the Liberty Guard. The current SFBS-MAGNIFICENT (BattleStar) is to be renamed SFBS-EXCALIBER upon the completion and launch of the Bretonian designed SFBS-MAGNIFICENT.

Also, if RIM_RUNNER needs any info, have him PM me and I'll get in touch with him. Same if he wishes to join, I just need his ship's name and which particular field of operation he would like.

End of Transmission

OOC: Caved in and making my 2nd account. 3 SF chars (Beta1, Endeavor, Excaliber) as well as the return of 2 phantom chars (Devastator and Mayhem). These will end up being more long term projects particularly for the phantom chars since they'll be made after the SF ones.

Sah! Good to hear they finally dragged you out of retirement, it was getting a little dull without you. They gave us a table at the bar, and we have these fance epaulettes now.. and I guess thats it. I'll see if I can't drag Beta3 down to the launch bays, and we can get in some practice...

Beta4 out.

Ya...if the yardies ever get my bomber in from Rheinland.

I had the paperwork for months but they keep loosing track of the shipment...either that or the ship gets pulled for duty on an RM battleship. I'm likely going to end up flying down there myself and pick it up. Meh, if you want something done right...what's more unfortunate is the only thing available for flight at the moment is a starflier. Even a tiny rock would break the cockpit on those things.

Message to: Admiral Firebird
Message from: Ensign Zepphos

Sir, unfortunately, from this point on I will be unable to serve the SF in its fight against criminals and the KNF.

My father has been taken ill on planet Leeds. He used to look after my younger brother, age 6. Now they both need someone to look after them. We have no other family able to do the job, so it is down to me to look after them and my fathers business.

It has been a pleasure to serve the SF for the time that I have done. Hopefully my father will recover soon, in which case I will re-sign up to the SF.

Yours regretfully,

Ensign Jack Jones,
Codename Zepphos

End Message

ooc: I will be unable to commit to the SF due to other commitments. If my time frees up, and if I have permission, I will re-sign up. My sincere apologies.

Sorry to hear you're leaving Zepphos, take care of what you need to and do what you have to do. Hopefully see you back here and a templar will always be on standby.

With that, think its a good time to clean up the faction post a bit so...

ROLL CALL!!!

Single post listing your SF chars is all I need. Spread word in-game so that everyone finds out. If you know a specific member has left let me know that as well.
