The ingame complaints pretty much died out along with the mining in Tau 23... which is a bit of a shame. If it weren't for the fact that you're getting "relocated" in .86, I'd say that you were at risk of going the way of the GMG who were left with nothing to do when their "home" was rendered barren.

Oh, and in regards to complaining on the forums: All I've seen is Panzer producing arguments, nothing more. Freedom of speech and all that.

So..... Why do you stop smugglers with slaves or cardamine ? I mean...yeah..why ? Is it a threat, or you just decided to be tau police in one point of your history ?

I never understood it. Can you clarify ?

Also, is your relationship with corsairs friendly only cause you share same feelings towards Bretonia ?

It was an evolutionary process.

We, as =BSG= started shooting Outcasts early .83 because it was an IMG ID obligation.

Over the half a decade worth of uninterrupted warfare a lot of things got cleared up. CR's intention of creating a nation state in the area. Something RPly big enough to be left alone. Something the Outcasts just won't have. It wouldn't any longer just be weak miners occasionally witnessing a convoy and usually too scared to bother doing anything about it. Now CR - here the matters go up to a whole new level. When you fight for survival - and which happened because you are seen as an outright threat - you use every potential means to fight the enemy. Thus hitting the trade which is an RP and ooc source of the lion's share of Maltese income. Slaves are an added bonus because playing liberator is good PR AND you can RPly turn liberated slaves into citizens, thus enlarging your nation's number.

Solely pragmatic reasons, Primmeh. The war wasn't started and doesn't last for fun.

The Cardamine . Everyone is freely to decide if they use it or not but the problem is this : The way the Outcasts use it and their Orange Dream.

Plus , all the things panzie said above.

Example, when some GC transports pass with carda for their ceremonies , we let them go away *grins*. They use it for their ceremonies or whatever they do. Not to spread an infection , while the OC just want to make people addictive so they can win more money and possible slaves, manipulating people. With every transport we kill , we basically save other sirians from getting addicted and at the same time , we almost kill those that are addictive. But the ratio is pretty good so we take the chances.

Simple ? We hope that we will get out some docs where we will exaplin some stuff but will take time .

Jameson, I'd fancy if you would stay out of this thread if you got nothing constructive about the faction in general. If members of this faction complain somewhere on the forums, then they do it on their own and not in the name of the faction in general, so this doesnt seem to be something that belongs in a feedback thread. Please solve personal problems with them or with the faction leadership if that would be necessary.

Thanks for clarifying that, how about friendly relation with corsairs, where did that come from ?

The Colonial Republic Feedback Thread - Rommie - 03-31-2011

It's not exactly friendly. It's more friendly'ish nowadays, since our IMG buddies have sometimes fallen to their pirating in the Omegas/Dublin.

But back when it was friendlier, and heading towards a solid alliance, it happened mostly because we were at their other way out of O-Alpha, thus having the Outcasts 'surrounded'.

It also ran cold due to our choice to turn towards the more 'lawful' factions/nations(now Bretonia/some time ago Kusari)
