RE: Admin Feedback Thread - Karst - 08-02-2023 If you want me to look up a specific VR and tell you why it was dismissed, feel free to PM me information that would help me find it, such as the approximate date it was submitted. Preferably on discord. What other reasons could it be for a VR to be dismissed when there's plenty of evidence in the form of screens, logs, timestamps verifiable on the server-side and footage of the whole incident showing exactly the behavior that led to file the VR? RE: Staff Feedback Thread - Saronsen - 08-02-2023 karst do yourself a favor and dont indulge sally RE: Staff Feedback Thread - Karst - 08-02-2023 (08-02-2023, 07:44 PM)Sally Wrote: What other reasons could it be for a VR to be dismissed when there's plenty of evidence in the form of screens, logs, timestamps verifiable on the server-side and footage of the whole incident showing exactly the behavior that led to file the VR? Nobody's going to be able to answer that unless they know the specific report whose results are being questioned. As already mentioned, feel free to ask staff members about the details of dismissed reports. You'll have to ask someone else if using Discord though, because you've earned the dubious distinction of being one of only 3 people I have blocked due to your inane trolling "questions". You flatter me as usual, Karst. RE: Staff Feedback Thread - Darius - 08-15-2023 Kudos for the change in approach regarding warnings. As the memes would say, "It's not much, but it's honest work"; this is such a better way to deal with rule breaks from new/newbie-friendly factions by issuing reminders rather than full on warnings. +10 bonus points RE: Staff Feedback Thread - Stewgar - 08-20-2023 It would be good to be given reason why a post is deleted. If the POB vulnerable thread then the earlier post in that thread suggesting a discussion, would cover it. "If wishing to open a discussion then maybe some rationale behind the suggestion would be helpful." Your post does not appear to be a discussion about POB vulnerability. RE: Staff Feedback Thread - Saronsen - 09-14-2023 sorry i tried to be tactful in PMs but i have to ask why is someone streaming themselves breaking the rules (more than once at that) not viable evidence for a sanction? breaking the rules is breaking the rules. is this some sort of streamer privilege because they create 'content' or whatever for the server? can i just stream whenever im online and get away with rulebreaking? just wondering, thanks for answering. RE: Staff Feedback Thread - Saronsen - 09-14-2023 so thats a yes to streaming and dodging getting my name put up on the forums when I break the rules? or does that not apply to me specifically? edit: tunicle message go poof It was not a reply so is hidden, it is there so any staff can see the pm and the VR for context before replying, after all the video is 2 hours 36 minutes long, - Tunicle RE: Staff Feedback Thread - Czechmate - 09-14-2023 Can you imagine we get after patch and promos external streamers going in, they get sanctioned and the evidence they get about some basic rule break like waiting 50 instead of 60 minutes to return to a system being their own stream? When the guy sanctioning could have just told them in chat about mistakes? You know who the streamer is, talk to them about rules they break, or use your own evidence to sanction them, simple as. This isn't like in game when you can't really know who's behind what ship. And if they break rules, it doesn't mean they are immune, it just means you can't just stalk their stream and instead of talking to them be a jerk and try to get them sanctioned - get evidence yourself like you get it in any other report. Speaking for myself it'd be damn weird to get sanctioned like this for anything but cheating/multiboxing etc. |
