Lol what was that again? Im just pointing facts, I don't hate order. Actually I am collaborating on one line of RP golly is pursuing. He and I talk to each other in good terms ooRP. You are trying to make me look like a witch hunter when I am the total opposite. The fact is that there's no real way for order to fund its actual status quo, let alone expansion of operations. Alright, after thinking again and checking, I realized that I somehow confused you with certain Order hater whose name starts with letters "Gy..." too, that comment was to him because I thought he now even went to "remove order" proposals. My bad, sorry for that.
However my point still stands - removing of any NPC faction, and especially such a specific one which played crucial role in original game is silly for me. And if you base your proposal around argument "they doesn´t have resources (be it money in this case) to fund its actual status quo, let alone expansion of operations", I will remind you that like third of all factions in Disco plays with toys they could hardly get with resources they have available. But I don´t want to turn this thread into another "let´s look which factions have really big caps and they shouldn´t because of logic/resources/lore/etc." thread.

Ok my comparisson with CR may have been exaggerated. I don´t think Order should disappear. I just think it would be nice that if IND, IC, or whatever is supposedly funding them does indeed do so, some RP about it surfaced. Just to make ends meet. Please dont get this as an attack to Order, it is not that at all. I´ll even drop it here, now. Apologies accepted btw Laura.

your question is flawed:

"How does The Order pay for those supplies? Where do they get money to buy stuff, fuel ships, mantain a fleet and fund research?"
The first is about how they get supplies, which is a good question after the recent Zoner debacle.
The second is about funding, which never had anything at all to do with Zoners (I mean, Zoners didn't pay the Order to buy their wares, now did they? Zoners were never a source of income for the Order, that's not how trading works). The single-player campaign shows us some very influencial people being affiliated with the Order, and there is the Liberty tie as well. It would seem reasonable that the Order is primarily funded by wealthy patrons with a strong interest in safeguarding mankind.

Mimir I think you need to read again what I put, I never said Order was getting credits from Zoners or GMG, actually the opposite. But I've dropped my interest in this really.
