RE: Ill-Met by Artificial Moonlight - Byron - 06-11-2017 Not exactly had Elena expected him to suddenly become that interested in this matter. It didn't surprise her though, the times she had met Leon near Manhattan had made her clear that he was absolutely unused to space, and definitely not somebody who should stay around there for long. "Yes, I saw him in space, multiple times. Around Manhattan, usually", she would tell him. "He's ... well. Alright, yes, physically, as far as I know. Mentally I'm not as sure. When I was around, there were some quite unfunny encounters. You know, murderizing maniacs killing off a bunch of people. It was quite madness." She shook her head, being reminded of these crazy evenings for a brief moment. "I've made sure he ain't gonna be harmed though. And sure, the next time I see him I'll tell him to come back to you." She stopped. "Well, if he listens to me. He's been searching for an ID like crazy lately. I wouldn't be surprised if he won't." RE: Ill-Met by Artificial Moonlight - The Operative - 06-11-2017 She would hear him sigh audibly. "Space is too rough for him. He is a gentle soul. A very good engineer and mechanic, but he is not brave enough for space, where you can die in the next second," he said quietly. "If necessary, disable his ship. Tow him to Curacao. I don't want him to die. Liberty is way too dangerous for him." After that, his face would be sealed under the helmet, with the mouth piece being back, changing his voice. "Miss Voigt, I'll leave you now. Please be very careful, and if you need me again, please contact me." He hugged her once more before he made a move to leave her ship, as he wanted to leave the freeport with his Roc. RE: Ill-Met by Artificial Moonlight - Byron - 06-12-2017 Elena briefly said goodbye to him before returning to the cockpit of her Sunburst again, falling into the still so uncomfortable pilot seat. Next time she would buy herself a better suited one-way-ship, she thought, the credits for that she definitely had in her wallet. She wasn't yet sure how she would get rid of the ship, however the most logical thing for her would now be getting into Kusari or Bretonia, leaving her ship there, maybe even scrapping it. After that, taking a public liner back to Liberty. She couldn't ask one of her friends to bring her her ship, as that would have meant she had to tell them what she had been up to. Something she would have liked to avoid at that point. The engines were switched on, roaring and breaking the overall silence inside the hangar, and soon enough Elena left the Freeport. At least she was out of this place now, though her thoughts kept circling around Hussaini and the way she had been senselessly endangering herself. |
