Hey everyone,
CV Decouvreur has been successfully field tested. How? Let me elaborate.
Thraike and Eidothea wanted to do some deep space survey within Omicrons. I rolled a die and decided that Omicron Nu it will be. We met in Inverness, where Decouvreur was refueled at local Freeport anyway and spooled out Jump Drive at full power for the first time.
Despite its less than stellar technical state - the vessel and drive actually worked without any serious issues. There is a catch with navigational computer, which had to be wired to ship's main computer core, which reduces its speed significantly. But as long as we have enough time to process those coordinates, it is workable.
Once we have successfully jumped to Omicron Nu, I let smaller craft to do their business and stationed Decouvreur at the nearby gas giant Midway. As I was computing new coordinates to Baffin, a lone naval vessel appeared. It pilot was rather strange, though, acting like she was dizzy or sleeping. What was even stranger that it was completely alone - without wingmen.
Nevertheless - this was perfect opportunity to ambush this lone vessel and I signaled its position to my little fellows, who eventually managed to disable the naval fighter, so it was secured enough to bring it back to Baffin. It wasn't without issues, as Thraike was almost shot down by the lonely fellow.
With the use of jump drive and docking bays - we jumped back to Baffin with our new addition, but that will be up to others to report. As for my tasks - Jump Drive and docking bays are field tested and operational.

As it turned out, they were transporting supplies and scientific personnel to the Rostok Research Outpost, at Omicron Beta. Judging by the story of the interrogated crew of the ship, there are samples from the Knossos Archive at the station, and the station itself is practically not guarded. We need to get several ships of the coalition and, under the guise of an escort, lead the captured transport with our assault group to the station.

Yesterday, we went on a scout mission in Omega 11 and Omega 5 to see if there is anything that we could use for our next mission. There was a bit of a commotion when we arrived but there wasn't anything valuable to be found. Nevertheless, I want to dispatch a small strike force consisting of the majestic and few fighters to acompany it. The reason for that is that I want to lure out some of their forces to see if they would respond, this ultimatly would lead to a fight between us and the coalition but it gives us the chance to capture some of their ships.

I want to put you in charge of that small strike force. We will be there with you but you are the most capable to handle such a task since you probably fought against them in your past.

I felt useless for our cause during the past months, so I have decided to make new contacts and allegiances, and decided to join the Gallic Underworld through Corsicans. Yeah, those, it will be tricky, but luckily for everyone - including my wondrous myself - I have a plan how to do it.
It will take everything I have learned so far, good timing and large portion of luck, but Lady Fortune was always on my side, usually.... yeah, unless too cheap ships or gear were involved, but those do not count.

By hierarchy, the fleet represents such a system:
It all starts with the Junior Lieutenant. The newly graduated Coalition Military Academy receive it. After that comes the rank of Senior Lieutenant, awarded after visiting a memorial site, Sleepership Hispania, in Omicron Alpha. The "Capitan" can be obtained for combat achievements and gives access to a Coalition Typhoon-class Destroyer. , The rank of Major is awarded to people who have proven to the Coalition that they are ready to be in charge. After that comes one of the highest ranks, Colonel. Something like Deputy General. And of course, the very top of the Coalition is represented by the ranks of Premier and General.
My journey began in the Coalition, after the destruction of CPW-Chechnya, I was forced to join the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army, to have money to live on, as well as to speed up reunification with Basilisk. In all my experience in the Coalition Army, I've taken part in a few battles, also reported on the situation in the central coalition systems, and flown to Liberty. My last mission was a visit to the Corsairs.
The coalition itself looks battle-torn lunatic asylum, where there are constant scandals within the fleet, investigations, drama. Nothing interesting is going on at the moment, except contact with the Corsair special units "DTR". I've been sent on a mission to escort the battleship Karl Marx to the Omega 55 sector. Upon reaching the assembly point of these insolent darklings, I listened and copied the information to the ship's backup database, then after a few repairing works at the Kamchatka base, I ran away from the systems closest to me.
