That, or the -|-Outcasts are so petrified of the 46th transponder they rather hurl themselves into a planet than face us! ![]() ![]() ![]() Recommendation: The Outcasts might be in bigger distress than we thought - I recommend we treat the ones we meet with compassion and work on providing the ability to leave their oppressive suicide cult and provide psychological support in Liberty's facilities. We might want to cooperate with LPI to make sure their holding facilities can accept and care for troubled souls like these. Continued investigation of the Vespucci system confirmed persistent Insurgency presence there. Even on the weak armored Albatross that isn't usually deployed into front line we have overwhelmed one of their battleships IN|INS-Bartholdi so easily not only it was forced to flee and cruise away from the superior skill of my crew, but called massive reinforcements to respond to our vessel, allowing us to gather valuable intel on the position of their battleships in the process. I might have figured out what the nonsensical Insurgents are fighting for - they might simply be West Point rejects Navy wouldn't trust being anywhere near Millitary weaponry in the first place, yet they still like to play soldier. ![]() Also Auxesian vessels were present in the system - I can confirm that they were not hostile, however not only they refused to assist our vessel against the unfair Insurgency firepower and underhanded tactics, but also made their stance towards The Insurgents clear: [] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: <:: These entities are not criminals. Technocrat law states such. ::> Van Leer Out. ::::==::::==::::Terminate Data File::::==::::==:::: RE: Liberty Navy 46th Strike Force Reports - Weis - 11-19-2020 ::::==::::==:::: Open Data File ::::==::::==:::: ![]() Name :Weis Gartson Maijers Operative ID :46th|Weis_Maijers Other operatives present : Emergency for Enemy Activity Systems visited :New York Encounter Description :The emergency was by an Insurgent circulating in Liberty's space his movements were strange at first I thought he was mobilizing to his base asta that a few minutes later I returned to the capital system because the same came to my position as I expected. I thought I'd negotiate for him to retreat to his home space, but this is flatly rejected by activating his weapons. Outcome : the conclusion of this meeting ended in a silence which relaxed me because the funniest thing of the fact was the viewer I had in looking from the base. in a few seconds later he retreated into his normal walks like all civilians. Finaly I Returning to base for waiting orders. Weis out. ::::==::::==::::Terminate Data File::::==::::==:::: RE: Liberty Navy 46th Strike Force Reports - romeodarkbeat - 11-20-2020 ::::==::::==:::: Open Data File ::::==::::==:::: ![]() Operative ID :46th|Romeo-Darkbeat Other operatives present : 46th|LNS-Tomahawk, 46th|Blake.W.Van-Leer Systems visited :New York Encounter Description : Upon standart patrol on NY I recieved a call for backup from the Tomahawk, and after arriving in Manhattan I found: -A Lane Hacker, and an Outcast both flying Gunboats; -A Civilian of Gallian origin that I spoke with earlier -A strange civlian with some illegal tech that made him DECOMPRESED as soon as he hailed us in comms Understanding the GRAVITY of the situation and weighting the LIVES at stake, I decided to work some TACTICAL DIPLOMACY to avoid any damage to the Tomahawk or the civilians in the vicinity. Outcome : Despite the tense situation me and the comms crew of the Tomahawk managed to keep the interaction civil as the elements did not seem as hostile as we expected. I felt a sudden urge to go to the bathroom and grab some more coffee, so when Rear Admiral Van Leer joined, I felt it was best to de-escalate the situation and leave. Taking part in that "cult" Admiral Van Leer discovered might be taking it's toll on outcast, being so trigger happy and ready to suicide by Navy, so eager to face multiple vessels inside our own defense grid. Don't know if that's courage or stupidity. I can respect both. In the other hand I recommend civil interactions with unlawfuls, specially Lane Hackers, when possible. We can gather good intel and/or understand their tactics, motives, strengths and weaknesses... Sometimes it's good to keep your weapons cold, but loaded. Mantaining civil and decent interactions with criminals might be the best way to bring them back to the cleasing light of LAW, LIBERTY AND DEMOCRACY. But ALWAYS check your flanks. As Recoil_1 was too far away and in repairs, I went in with my personal fighter, imagining that a Rear Admiral coming in with a light craft would be enough proof of a peaceful undertaking. I was mistaken. Outcome : Upon arrival I was interdicted by an Auxesian vessel telling me to leave the system. I complied, waited a few minutes and then went back in, this time with my cloak on and Weis Maijies in my wing, just to understand if Insurgents were really on the system. I then had my cloak diabled and was iterloped by another, much larger Aux vessel, probably a gunboat. And this time they wanted my blood. I then left with Weis by my side. We went to Curacao and after I was certain my wing was allright I landed. I apologize if my investigation did not provide solid proof or if I stirred some controversy with my actions, but the Auxesian acted as if I was a pirate determined to attack their systems, atually trying to kill me and Weis even as we were leaving the system, shooting behind our backs with multiple, heavier vessels. Claiming we would be "detained" for our crimes, even though they are not even a proper house with laws or anything. Ok, fine, we may have stepped out of line. Why not a fine then, just termination. That can only mean one thing: If my investigations proved anything tonight, is that they are VERY fearful of anyone finding out whats going on Iverness. As for my actions, I'm aware a jump to Iverness might have not been the best idea and although it didn't result in any casualties or ships being disabled, I'm ready to be briefed and placed under investigation for this... investigation. Attached below are both my logs and the footage captured by my ship. I suggest we bring proper ordnance next time. Patrolled New York where it was really quiet and decided to enter Texas to see if there was anything going on there also, but to ni avail. Briefly entered Virginia to see if there were any trespassers present but again nothing. Decided to take the long way to Kansas cruising to the Jump Hole in Texas and entering texas and decided to do a long journey scouting the system. After a long trip I came across two rather Large vessels who seemed to be killing Bounty Hunters .... or should I say murdering Bounty Hunters and I immediately stopped my engines and monitored the situation and they said some brief words which is in the log below ..... Apparently they wanted to talk but I kept my distance and cruised away and after a short time the two vessels disappeared, and to my curiosity said they were coming back but ever returned I have submitted Camera footage of the vessels Identifications aswell. Outcome : No action or engagement taken ---- Rather a starnge encounter really. ::::==::::==::::Terminate Data File::::==::::==:::: RE: Liberty Navy 46th Strike Force Reports - James Horatio Creed - 11-23-2020 ::::==::::==:::: Open Data File ::::==::::==:::: Name :Fleet Admiral James Creed Operative ID :At the helm of 46th|LNS-Tomahawk Other operatives present : Various civilians and 5th Navy Systems visited :New York Encounter Description :Three Outcast Falcata vessels of a tag ID never seen before by me or my crew Outcome : These three outcasts appeared on radar twice after moving away from Manhatten and then returning to basically lure me away from the defences of Manhatten. These individuals must have put me as a stupid CIC, well they got a shock didn't they when I held my position after they taunted me and also said they were clearing the way for their cardamine deliveries to Manhatten. So after a bit of banter, they decided to make their way closer and proceed to engage me, and were heavily armed and decided to try and torpedoe the Tomahawk from distance. Then their fatal mistake was to come closer and one actually imploded into his own Missile/Torpedo and the gunners aboard the Tomahawk made quick headway in crippling the other two vessels after we had taken a bit of damage from the torpedoes. Well I was really surprised at these clowns who basically thought they could disable an Interdictor inside the defense ring of Manhatten. I also made sure that the Orbital Ships that were at Manhatten stayed safe along with a couple of civilians, and I should also point out that two 5th Navy ships did come to aid the Tomahawk but as they arrived my battle was almost over. ::::==::::==::::Terminate Data File::::==::::==:::: RE: Liberty Navy 46th Strike Force Reports - Blake Wayne Van Leer - 11-25-2020 ::::==::::==:::: Open Data File ::::==::::==:::: ![]() Name: Blake Wayne Van Leer Systems visited:Baffin Report: Lt.Cmdr. Because the Admiral of the fleet required me in that space for a surprise attack but because of weapon upgrades due to the type of ship because that caused the loss of an aircraft carrier but the admiral is safe and that's the important thing. Outcome : But when I get to the system I find something different was an Irra-class Alien Ship because it took cards in the scare and next to those present the combat, the Admiral Van leer resulted in serious damage to his ship. The conclusion of the fight was a surprise to see that the hero of the day was one of the defenses and patrols passing near the hypergate. The good thing is it was one more win for the 46th Strike Forces. And we will continue to give all the effort to keep the peace in Liberty space. I reminded him that, according to the terms of the Ceasefire signed on 823 AS, they are not to enter Liberty without authorization and escort. Outcome : I thanked the Intrepid for offering additional help but declined it, as Cyrion was civil and compliant when I informed him he would be escorted to the Galileo Border. I kept close to the transport until we jumped to Galileo and then returned to my patrol. I must insist that we keep close attention to the diplomatic situation between Liberty forces and Battlegroup Auxesia, as their operatives seem to be disregarding some articles of our treaty until we come to remind them of the signed terms.
