RE: Forsaken - Whesto - 03-23-2023

"It's go time, let's storm this *****!"

The bridge doors flew open and chaos came with it. Whesto took cover just outside the door's right hand side and let his Ravager sing, putting down suppressive fire towards the enemy cover.

One unfortunate enemy at center cover took a tungsten round to the face and Whesto saw an opening. He went in the room and hugged to the right, moving and shooting, He was clearly exposed and the only cover he had was his suppressive fire.

Another enemy faced him on the right side, clearly superior to the previous adversaries. Whesto struggled to hit or even suppress this one. Clearly an infected! Whesto started to feel frustrated as his rounds missed his opponent, then his ammo ran out. Rage took over Whesto, who dropped the Ravager, stood up and drew his sidearm and fired away, screaming.

As he walked towards the infected, shooting his sidearm with little effect, the enemy unloaded a single barrage from its weapon, like a shotgun but worse. Core armor in all its glory, but this was different. The armor took most of the damage but it was only enough to not instantly kill Whesto.

He took the hit to his head, damaging his eyes, braking his nose and lacerations all over. The hit also caught his left arm, breaking it in several places and dislocating the shoulder. Whesto was flung back into a panel, barely staying conscious, only the rage and now severe pain kept him awake. After he landed the enemy sent another barrage that barely missed but hit Whesto in the legs, now also broken in several places. Whesto screamed in both pain and rage.

Whesto was down. All he hoped for now was for someone to end the infected's miserable life and then drag him out of there.

RE: Forsaken - Lea Kaufman - 03-19-2023

26th February 830 A.S - System: Omicron Nu / Battleship Illustrious

Whesto shouted ''DOWN'' to Lea. As fast as she could, she executed the movement and Whesto had purged the four enemies. It was a nice move from this man. She reloaded the pistol once Whesto cleaned the zone and got to cover.

Suddenly, the Overlord shook violently. She did not know why and she had a bad feeling. Herself was about to prepare the magboots but it was too late. Lea as well was thrown to into a wall. Her back received a violent shock. Thanks to the armor, most of the impact was absorbed. The woman's breathing was cut for some seconds. She did not lost consciousness. She tried to stand up as much as she could but the only thing she managed to do was to turn on herself and crawling.

The woman reached Jack and tried as good as she could to stand up once next to him. ''I do hope the paycheck will be worthy accordingly to this situation...'' She said it with a mix of seriousness and humour. She looked around her. ''What a mess...''

"Uuggg, What the hell... Unngg! Ouch! Fuck!"

Consciousness flooded back into Taden's head, pushed on a wave of AI support. His mind raced as his CPU augmented brain registered exactly what had just taken place. He had thrown the destroyer into full reverse, but it was only seconds away from colliding violently with the Overlord it had been escorting. The inertial suppression system in his bio-suit whined with the stress of the momentum change. The escort cruiser had been at full thrust chasing the boarding craft when Taden had smashed his way onto the bridge, and it was still moving at full clip when it hammered into the Overlord. Already pushed to the limits, the inertia dampening system gave out and Taden was sent flying over the helm-controls and smashed into the main view-screen at the front of the bridge. The force of the impact drove his heavy cybernetic body deep into the display bulkhead. The rest of the bridge began to crumple on top of Harrs, piling computer systems, bulkhead compartments, and the remains of Taden's Blacktip bomber up into the front of the cruisers forward most section.

As viewed from outside the ship, the escort cruiser had embedded itself a good way into the outer hull of the Overlord capital ship, which had buckled slightly at the impact site. the nose of the smaller craft was buried into the hull of the larger ship and had become entangled in the twisting masses of the two ships hulls. The reverse thrusters continued to fire at full blast, straining the cruisers engines in a futile attempt to free the ships head from the hole it was stuck in. Metal twisted and screamed as the two massive vessels struggled but were unable to separate. The color of the engine trails began to change to darker and darker shades as the engines were strained past their limits. The impact must have disabled the engine crew and maintenance team because the propulsion system was overheating and would go critical at any moment.

Back inside the bulkhead at the front of the impact point, Taden was regaining consciousness. As he assessed the situation, system data flowed into his CPU system and he was immediately aware of the critical danger he was in. The cruiser had become entangled with the capital ship it was escorting and its engines were about to go critical. Taden scanned his surroundings and was met with more bad news. The bridge had become a crumpled mass of debris and most of it was piled on top of him. Luckily, part of that debris was the remains of his busted bomber. Most of its systems still registered as functional, and Harrs was formulating a plan to save what was left of his sorry hide.

His first attempt at moving was halted in excruciating pain! His right hand was pinned between some of the wreckage and Taden could see a small amount of blood seeping out of the Bio-Suit glove that was over it.
"Oh that's great! I don't have many flesh bits left here! COME ON!"
Taden braced his left arm against his left leg and used the leverage to lift the twisted metal off of his right hand. It was definitely broken, but he didn't think he would loose it. He'd just have to get it patched up after the mission was over and the Guildmaster was rescued.

With his hand freed, Harrs made his way painfully to the cockpit of his disabled snub craft. He crawled back into the cockpit and did a lightning fast systems check. Shields, propulsion, and life support systems were shot, but power management and weapons were at least partially functional. Taden's AI CPU got an emergency signal from the ship denoting the engines going critical and there being an imminent detonation, he was going to have to work fast! Taden primed the only laser battery still operational and aimed it as close as the damaged targeting servos could point it in the direction where the two ships met. Taden squeezed the trigger and the weapon began pulsing hot plasma into the place where the two ship hulls were fused. The metal quickly became super-heated and twisted with the impact of the laser fire. With a loud whining PING the weapon system of Taden's fighter craft gave out. He knew that was coming and wasted no time. He shoved himself out of the wreckage of the snub craft and began hastily crawling toward the location he had been firing upon...

And then the engines gave out. There was a massive KRAAKOOOM as the over-stressed propulsion systems of the escort cruiser detonated in extraordinary fashion. The front portion of the cruiser was pressed even deeper into the hull of the Overlord and larger rear section was broken off and propelled away from the impact site. Smaller explosions continued to ignite the back section of the ship as it began to tumble uncontrollably through the active battle taking place in space around the colliding ships. It was loosing atmosphere rapidly and would be completely decompressed soon, which should put out most of the fires, but gave little hope for any surviving crew members.

In the forward bridge section, Taden was once again slammed forward with incredible force. He managed to curl up to somewhat protect himself from another devastating impact before smashing into the section he had just been firing upon. Taden's hard, mechanical, cyborg body was propelled through the weakened metal of the two ship hulls and flew out into an internal corridor aboard the Overlord like a massive black cannonball! His back smashed against the opposing wall and his heavy frame was implanted into the surface several feet above the floor.

"UHFF, NNGGH. Uh, I'm aboard the, NNGHH, Overlord now"

Taden managed to maintain consciousness just long enough to grunt an update into his comm unit before his mind slipped into the blackness to await its next [REBOOT] in a few seconds. A few moments of peace in the darkness of unconsciousness would be a respite for the battered cybernetic warrior... This was really turning out to be a shit day...

...Chaos Aboard the Overlord...

RE: Forsaken - Implosion - 03-21-2023

Daniels extended his hand and pulled Lea back to her feet, after which he proceeded to help Whesto aswell.

"That is unfortunate. Especially for the crew of the cruiser."

Jack scanned the area ahead. It was a complete mess. Dead bodies and broken, bent and molted hull panels were the new decor. The situation looked somewhat grim, but despite all odds, the Overlord was still holding. Suddenly, Daniels' cybernetics picked up a life sign. Funnily enough, it registered as friendly. Taden Harrs had somehow managed to survive yet another crash.

"You crazy son a bitch..." -Daniels was genuinely impressed.-"You just don't die, do you?!"

Daniels shook his head, but despite that, he admired Taden's will to live.

"Right..., Whesto, Lea... despite our little setback, we're not more than a minute away from the bridge. Taden...get over here and listen! We're gonna need you!"

Daniels paused for a moment, allowing Harrs to reach them.

"This is where shit gets real, yeah? We're storming the bridge. I will lead the charge and take out the captain of this ship. He is mine. The rest of you, handle the remaining crew. And remember, no survivors! If word of this gets out, we're frakked big time. Furthermore, keep the damage to a minimum. I want the bridge fully operational when we're done. We can't just leave the ship here, we'll need to hide it somewhere. We can't destroy it either, because an explosion of this magnitude will leave traces."

Daniels looked at the bullhead down the corridor.

"The bridge is on the other side of this door. You can bet your sweet asses that whenever we open the door, a flurry of all kinds of shit will come our way. Be ready."

Jack inspected his gun and gave the order.

"It's go time, let's storm this bitch!"

"Ughh... AHhhh... Not again. *****!"

Taden's head was pounding and his chest felt heavy. He was waking up, once again, this time embedded in the wall paneling of a corridor on the Overlord. He glanced around at his surroundings and assessed his situation. The cruiser he had been on was a mangled mass of metal and electronics all heat welded to the stress-buckled hull of the larger capital ship. The emergency force-fields were holding and gravity functions remained normal. The hallway he was in was barely recognizable as anything but a debris field. The passage was all but sealed off by the remains of the violent impact.

Taden began peeling himself from the wreckage of the cruiser surrounding him. His internal CPU AI had picked up the presence of several other Core| members, including the unmistakable signature of the Guildmaster. They all were in one location, but not moving. Harrs shook off the pain and began to make his way through the difficult terrain towards the friendly life-signs. As he squeezed himself out of the twisted corridor, he registered movement among the other friendly survivors of the impact. Good! He was glad he wasn't going to have to carry anyone out of this mess but himself! Hopefully anyway...

Taden emerged from the ruined corridor and picked up the pace a bit now that he wasn't hampered by quite as much debris. He still had to dodge fallen ship panels or stomp out unconscious Liberty crewmen. He almost felt pity, but there could be no survivors this day. He turned down another hallway and was soon within sight of the rest of the rescue party and the Guildmaster, the infamous Jack Daniels. Harrs joined the group and took a kneeling position to rest a moment while Daniels relayed the plan.

"The bridge is on the other side of this door. You can bet your sweet asses that whenever we open the door, a flurry of all kinds of shit will come our way. Be ready."

Taden did a final check of his internal systems. Life support, muscle augmentation, combat processing, and weapon systems were all cranked up to maximum operating output. He was well prepared to unleash fury on whatever target the Guildmaster pointed him at. Since he was easily the largest and most heavily armored of the boarding party at hand, Taden took up position at the front of the formation, closest to the doorway to the hostile bridge. He wrapped his ballistics cloak around his shoulders and arm and adapted a sturdy guarded firing stance with his S.E.P.E.-Cuff aimed at the doors to the bridge. He was ready for combat. Let them come! Taden waited for the word from the Guildmaster...

""It's go time, let's storm this bitch!"

Taden let out a battle cry as the party seethed forward. This was the moment he had been waiting for. The Infected scum here would feel the wrath of the Dark Harrs!

...At The Bridge Of The Overlord...

RE: Forsaken - Megaera - 03-22-2023

Omicron Nu - WV-Perditrix

The Perditrix was still being shot at by the Overlord's defences as it slowly tried to make distance. The side facing the Overlord was now scarred by burn marks and ripped off armour was floating on the trail the combat area had left behind.

"Hull at 30% and dropping. I have directed the ship outside weapon range. I have word Mr. Daniels is getting the upper hand in the enemy ship, so continueing the fight will only put them in more danger."

"Alright, direct all turrets towards providing covering fire for the Overlord. Let's buy them time. Meanwhile try to subtly direct the ship deeper into the Omicrons."

The Perditrix went out of weapons range and positioned itself in such a way that it cut off the way towards Liberty space.

RE: Forsaken - Anguirus - 03-23-2023

Location: WV-Ambriamus, Omicron Nu.
Centurion, the enemy cruiser just rammed the Overlord!

The Centurion Crow was hunched over a map simulating the ongoing battle all around the Ambriamus. Focusing on his next move. The Ambriamus was hunting the last escort cruiser. When it somehow when awol and rammed the Overlord now confirmed to contain the GuildMaster the Core fleet was there to rescue. Huh, didn't expect that. He jogged to the observation port of the Bridge. Watching the Overlord getting rocked with an inferno engulfing the impact point of the cruiser. Helmsman, join us with the rest of the fleet with the Perditr-

The shields of the Ambriamus shields were slammed against by the last capital escort vessel. A Liberty Assault Battlecruiser. Crow knew he was out of position and outgunned. Being so close the Ambriamus was basically point blank to both enemy capital ships. Crow saw a faint chance, through the shadow of the valley of death between both the Liberty Battlecruiser and Overlord. Helmsman! Give her everything she's got between both of those ships, they wont risk the crossfire, it's the only chance we got. Salvation if we make it and our souls if we get caught! The engine decks screamed as the engineers attempted to overclock her beyond safe limits. Each man willed her forward for they knew what was at stake.

The shields unable to regain strength broke under continues fire from the Assault Battlecruiser, and battered the hull. The Ambiramus rocketed forward between the formation of ships. Who, to Crows prediction, stopped firing to not hit each other. Everyone held on to what they could, they were dammed if they let go. The Battlecruiser Ambriamus strained under the inertia. The Centurion only got a glimpse of Overlords bridge, though they were still so close, and questioned what he saw. A thousand flashes of arms fire within a second.
With the Ambriamus now stern of the Liberty Battlecruiser, and the Overlord now becoming incombered over the course of the battle. Both outside and within its hulk. Crow ordered a withdrawal to the Battleship Perditrix and not risk any further direct engagement.

In the Dark of the Night, the Core will be gone.

""It's go time, let's storm this *****!"

The bridge doors slid open and hellfire rained down on the tiny siege party. A hail of small arms fire nearly consumed the space between the doorway at the instant the doors cleared the path. For that tiny moment, it was as if every weapon the bridge crew and security force had was all fired at the exact same time. The doors slid open and a nearly solid beam of laser-fire exploded out through it. The elite boarding party shook it off like it was a splash from a nasty puddle!

Taden was safely sheltered behind the ballistics cloak he held wrapped in front of his face like a shield. The other members of the boarding party were all wearing quite advanced body armor as well, and out of the corner of his vision he could observe individual lasers being glanced and reflected of the tight fitting suits. None of them even really seemed too shaken by the barrage. They were obviously all hardened by combat and ready for this battle.

After that first onslaught from the highly coordinated bridge and security team, the hostile assault became more chaotic and sporadic. There was still a huge amount of small arms fire coming at them, but it was less synchronized and not as well focused. This was the time for the siege party to move in. Time to smash some skulls, Taden thought.

"GRAAAHH!"

The Dark Harrs let out a battle-cry as he charged forward into the fray, his arm raised in front of him holding the cloak like a shield he resembled a massive, black, mechanical vampire stalking his prey. His right hand held below the elbow of the arm holding his cloak, fist continuously flexing, sending out deadly purple rings of plasma. Each blast from the Super-Excited-Particle-Emitter struck a target with devastating effects. Whole chunks of torsos were vaporized, and a well placed shot could amputate an arm or a smaller persons leg! A direct head-shot often resulted in the complete disintegration of the subjects head. Taden was beyond pleased with the performance of his 'Sidearm'!

As he pushed forward into the bridge, Taden noticed the Centurion Whesto rushing the bridge beside him to his right. Taden hoped they would get some cover fire from the attractive operative, that appeared to be of Rheinland heritage, at the rear of the formation as they pressed the security forces to back themselves into slightly more fortified positions. Taden took to the left side of the entryway as Whesto broke off to the right. The man was really efficient for not having any targeting augmentations or combat CPU assistance. He was taking them down with ease and seemed intent on going for the hard targets. Taden let himself be slightly impressed and was glad he had such a warrior fighting at his side.

Taden turned his full attention on the hostiles in front of him. He was confident that the Centurion at his right could hold his own without his needing to worry about it. A good portion of the security force was already a seething, bloody mass on the floor, but somehow a large portion of the bridge crew still remained. The helmsman stood diligently at his post and fought with the controls to keep the ship stable and on course. It was no easy task for the man, as the battle raged both inside and out of the badly damaged capital ship. The helmsman was shielded on all sides by several other members of the bridge crew, Taden's CPU registered the comms officer, security officer, and logistics officer as well as a couple security personnel that actually seemed somehow less threatening than the bridge officers. Perhaps it was because the officers, like the helmsman, had a slight blue tint to the whites of their eyes, and they appeared more steadfast and unshaken by the chaotic battle around them. They all just focused on their tasks with alien like determination!

Rage began to boil up inside Taden. These were unmistakably Infected alien Nomad scum! Hatred colored his vision red and Taden turned all his attention on the alien monstrosities he now faced. His goal was the Helmsman. If they could seize control of the ship it would not be long before they had control of the battle. He began to advance on the helm's defenders taking precise aim with his SEPE-Cuff and fired a shot at the comms officers head. With inhuman speed, the spry Infected woman simultaneously ducked the blast and returned fire with a blast from her own weapon. The discharge from this weapon was much different from the light laser fire from the rest of the security teams weapons, and significantly more powerful! Super-heated slag particles were propelled in a small spread pattern at fractionally-relativistic speeds with devastating results. Tiny bits of molten metal burrowed through the single folds of Taden's ballistic cloak, and wherever it wasn't bunched up or wrinkled into layers, burned into the surface of his Bio-suit armor. Taden's combat CPU immediately reworked his tactics and he crouched into a charge stance, his left hand held slightly away from his side...

As Taden prepared his attack, one of the other helmsman's defenders peeled of their post and began moving towards their target, firing a barrage of shots from that high powered weapon they were all carrying. It took just a nanosecond before Taden realized in horror that the target the Infected alien was firing on was Centurion Whesto! The alien had him down and was approaching Whesto while firing into him mercilessly. Taden had no choice, nor did he give any pause. He turned just slightly to face the back of the Infected that had Whesto pinned down and charged the motivators in his legs for burst output.

With tremendous force, Taden launched himself at the Nomad/Human abomination that was assaulting his comrade. His hardened alloy feet left compression indentations on the deck of the bridge as his massive frame was propelled like a mortar shell at his opponent. Harrs decided against employing the Plaz-Blade at this time, and instead just smashed directly into the Infected crew member with all of his considerable weight. The force of the impact carried the alien officer off its feet and plowed them both into the bulkhead on the far side of where Centurion Whesto was now laying, bleeding out. With his nearly completely cybernetic body Taden weighed nearly 400 kilos, but somehow, the smallish looking human being pressed beneath his bulk was undaunted. With superhuman strength, the tall but thin bridge crew member began to struggle his way out from under Taden's huge metal body, lifting and shoving Harrs off of his small frame. Taden was not going to give this alien worm the chance to wriggle free! He reached out with lightning speed and grasped the bridge officer by the head with both hands. Taden squeezed. The servos in his left hand strained only a little. There was a POP like the sound of someone smashing a watermelon, and the Nomad/Human's head exploded to bits in Taden's grasp.

With a glance, Taden could tell that Whesto's injuries were not life threatening. He had gotten lucky that the Core armor had held up and that the alien hadn't gotten off another shot at his now unprotected face. Harrs motioned to the Centurion with one blood soaked hand to just stay down. He had to neutralize the remaining threats before attempting to haul Whesto out of the danger of the battlefield. Harrs then turned his attention back to the Helmsman and his security detail. One more of the Infected that had been guarding him, as well as the two security troops, were either dead, or otherwise occupied somewhere else. This left the helmsman with one infected defender remaining, the bridge's security officer. He was a hulking man who's chest was nearly as wide as Taden's massive cyborg torso, and his attention was trained directly on the heavily augmented siege soldier.
Taden crouched once again and faced the two Infected alien crew members. He held his arm away from his body and once again pre-loaded his augmented body for a charging leap. He placed one foot against the corner where the wall met the floor and used the brace as a launch point for his leap. The force drove a divot into the metal bulkhead the size of a dinner plate as Taden launched himself at his foes. He flew towards them, twisting so his left side was prominent and his left arm was held in front of his face, outstretched to his right side. When Harrs was just an arms-length away from the surprised security officer, his arm snapped through from right to left with such speed that un-augmented human vision wouldn't even be able to see it. There was a familiar CRACK as the Plaz-Blade snapped into position and hummed to life. The alien security officer was fast, but not fast enough. He ducked, but the Plaz-Blade sizzled as it cut clean through the top if his head about 2 inches above his eyes. The severed chunk of skull hit the deck with a dull squishy THUNK as the human alien host mindlessly groped the air in front of itself for a couple seconds before collapsing to the floor with its head slumped between its knees. As that alien fell, Taden's right hand gripped the throat of the Infected helmsman and he passed the Plaz-Blade through the center of their chest with his recovery swing. The lower torso and legs of the Nomad fell writhing to the floor while the upper portion gripped Taden's arm, struggling for a second to escape his grasp whilst gurgling a bloody death scream before going completely limp.

Taden tossed the lifeless half of the bloody corpse onto its still twitching other half and assessed the battle situation. It had quieted down significantly and it seemed that Guildmaster Daniels had found and dealt with the Captain of the Overlord. Harrs scanned the bridge and was pleased to find no more hostile forces, while it would appear that all of the boarding party had survived as well. Centurion Whesto had taken some grievous injuries and would need serious medical attention, but he was alive and would make it out of this even though he would need to be carried out. It looked like Taden was going to have to drag someone besides his own sorry cyborg ass outta this mess after all. No matter, he would be glad to carry home a comrade instead of a corpse.

"The situation looks clear, Sir. Whesto is down, I don't think he can walk. My ship is scrap. What are your orders, Guildmaster?"

Taden gave his battlefield assessment as he approached Whesto's fallen body. Was he still even conscious? Taden could read his vitals, but they were weak. He gently nudged the Centurion, attempting to gauge how much assistance Whesto was going to give him, if any, whenever he would have to be moved.

'Yo, you awake comrade? Good fighting! You went down hard! ... Can you hear me, Sir?"

The situation was neutralized. It was time to figure out where to go from here. There was still plenty of loose ends to tie up and Taden was sure there would be other casualties and injuries in such a grand rescue attempt. The battle was over. The Guildmaster was safe. But the road home still seemed long and arduous indeed. And how was Taden gonna replace his Blacktip bomber! It had been practically brand new! Oh well, Taden chalked it up as another casualty. He would list it as a fallen comrade in the battle report he would file later. It was a small price to pay to have the Guildmaster back at the helm of the Core! Now it was just a matter of getting themselves all safely home again. Taden wouldn't be able to truly let his guard down until they were back in Omicron-Rho, soaking up drinks and stories at the pub! He hoped it would be soon...

...Aftermath Of The Overlord...

RE: Forsaken - Implosion - 03-30-2023

When the bulkhead to the bridge opened, Daniels' senses were numbed, as if turned off. Sound was no longer an option. The Ride of the Valkyries that Strix played was no more. The battle outside was still raging, ships silently passing by the bridge, destroying eachother. The Perditrix and it's escorts were pulling away.
His squad poured in, laying waste to everything they could.

Jack was calm, he moved slowly through the chaos, both the enemy fire and Taden launching himself towards the hostiles.

Whesto was down, but Harrs had his back. Daniels ordered them to retreat and then proceed to his target.

Hackett was on the far side of the bridge, somehow managing to avoid all the commotion. Plasma shotgun in hand, he was ready to meet the Guildmaster in combat.
Jack didn't hesitate, as soon as he was in range, he activated the plasma whips on both of his wrists and lunged at the infected captain. Time slowed down as he took to the air. The whips sliced, diced and incinirated everything in their wake. In one decisive swing, Hackett was no more. His body, or the three separate parts it was split to, fell to the ground. But the joke was on the Guildmaster. A pulse grenade rolled out of the infectee's lifeless hand. It went off and every augment in Daniels' body ceased. The Guildmaster was thrown into a nearby wall and fell to the ground.

There were no more enemies on the bridge, his Harrs and Taden were gone, he was alone. Except...he wasn't.
With the remaining strenght he had, just whispered:

"Lea..."

RE: Forsaken - Lea Kaufman - 03-30-2023

26th February 830 A.S - System: Omicron Nu / Battleship Illustrious

As they entered on the bridge, Lea did not open the hostility. Whesto, Taden and Jack jumped first in the fight. She saw Hackett some meters away but as said the guildmaster, he wanted him for himself. Having this in mind, Lea Kaufman simply shot on soldiers that the core men did not have time to react. She was mostly acting as support to the men. Her mission was simply to bring back Jack and now, it was just to protect him and then, being paid.

It was soon being dealt with the soldiers. Many corps were lying on the floor of the bridge. There was only one man and it was the captain. Jack rushed on him. While the two others were going out of the bridge, Lea stayed at the entrance, observing the guildmaster fighting the captain. As soon he finished Hakett, Lea smirked because it was finally over. Suddenly, while she was continuing her way, an explosion happened where she was. She turned around in rush looking what happened. Her face turned into despair for the first seconds. When the exlosion's cloud slowly disappeared, she saw Jack on the other wall, on the ground from where he was before the explosion. She ran to his position.

Finally next to him, Lea kneeled down next to him. He then whisppered something she did not hear. ''Nein nein nein nein...'' She said in panic. Her first move was to bring her two fingers on his clavicle. His heart was beating but weakly. Only one word came out of her mouth. ''Sh*t''
