Most people didn't like the Roc in 4.84 because it was bugged.

So, it seems the OC should start developing their VHF, HF and LF as well? I hope not ...

Why not just turn the BW-line into an OC-line since their (former) allies don't have to rely on them anymore?
For all the unaffiliated freelancers or mercs there's still the civilian shipline. If anyone of them wants to fly something else they could still ally themselves with an npc-faction to work for them and get their gear. I'm sure the house authorities wouldn't be sad about being able to target unlawful mercs by just pressing one key.

Besides the bugged roc was still no excuse to take the taiidan instead the waran. And I don't see a point to hand over some heavy gear like a bomber to a civilian anyway. For me it sounds like selling rocket launchers on the street. If you want to fire one become a terrorist or a soldier.

There are still factions that use the Border World line that aren't Outcast or have no affiliation with them. Like the Bundies. The Border World line is still available to use by Outcasts, so they don't need an entire full ship line. Outcasts don't own exclusive rights to the BW ship line either, they likely got it from someone else.

When I made the Cutlass for a new BW Bomber, the idea was that the Falcata was being decomissioned (Unlike the rest of the BW series, the Falcata was produced originally by Outcasts) in favour of the new Curtana model, Eppys one. Because this technology had a very distinct Outcast flair about it, concerned parties in the Border Worlds developed the Cutlass to replace the Falcata once it was decomissioned.

Though, right now it seems like the Cutlass will likely just replace the Falcata.

I remember the discussion about a fighter Yue made (Border World Series U), the one the Bundschuh explicitly rejected to become theirs. And I also remember that it was mentioned in that discussion that they get their ships from their allies anyway, which would be the hessians. so they could also use their ships.

And who is this mysterious "someone else"? I can see it as a joint development with major outcast participation at best, which still keeps it primarily outcast.
The Bundies don't have the bank accounts to finance such a project.
The hessians formed around 700 AS from a bunch of Daumann workers, by that time the outcasts were already in space for a long time, so I'm sure they were the more experienced ones concerning developing ships. Plus trading cardamine made them rich, so they have the financial background.
Hackers might have had a bigger participation since they are nerds and able to gather money.

Still easier than setting up a complete new oc shipline I think
