Lets start with a fact that we are a Zoners. One of the oldest group here. Not so long ago we were a member of ZUI, we have earned respect and trust among Official ones. Mr. Mattherson I must admit, that you are difficult partner in negotiations, but from other side I’m not surprised and IMG should be proud of such Guilder.
Let’s start then from few facts about our Corporation. We are mainly focus on exploration missions. Yes we are also a traders, but all money which we make thanks to our trading fleet are destine to donate exploration missions. For that money we bought 2 Corvo class cruisers (also known as Deep Space Explore vessels). But As you know this ship to be effective must be under protection, the same situation is with convoy escort.
Why ships from IMG when we have access to Civilian ship line? Answer is very simple. Look into statistics which we prepared Sir.

Using a red color I marked the parameters which decided about this request. The most important is strength of hull. Why? – there is no need t explain why greater hull is important in fight, moreover our ships very often are vulnerable for high radiation. Also in that matter high priority has a number of nanobots onboard for making fast repairs if it will be necessary.
Of course civilian ships are better in few other aspects (green color) and have the same parameters as IMG ships (violet color). But this parameters are not the most important to us in our missions and convoy tasks.
Please also remember, that because Zoners do not have their own Fighter/Bomber ship line, often we are forced to deal with pirates and other unlawfuls with the same equip. And here the advantages of IMG technology would be very helpful. Those little details in battle are crucial for the final result of our missions. Have in mind also a fact, that civilian vessels are also limited around Free Ports, and as You surely now, very much exploited.
Another avantage is that IMG vessels are better fitted to Omicron and Tau enviorement, than civilian ones.
