It's not that i dont want it to happen, i am merely comfortable with the fact it is never coming at the current rate of population decline and... well lets just call it moral degredation as well as powermongering =P

now,sitback and read the feature list.cloaking devices?awesome,even ifi cant have one,it will be cool tosee one un action.
player controlled bases?the universe is gonna get alot crowded.
warp drives?turret steering and zoom?selfdestruct?
this is an amazingwork.on hhc the osiris has cloak and we had great fun playing as a osiris.or against it.think how cool it will be with all this new stuff.
i am playing cuz it is cool,i never run out of players,i always find something to do.

personally,i cantwait for 86.but i am patient.if they release it now,there will be 1636843 new topics like"omg bug on this and this and this ...omg"
and everyone would rage about how badly it is made.seriously,just wait.canon said they needed to fix some critical bugs.very important to release something bugless later thansomething full of bugs earlier just to stop players from leaving.most of them will get angry of bugs and leave anyways.

for all pessimists out there.
I haven't played disco for over a year now,I've checked the forums for when its coming out but I never played it. and i've played other games like skyrim and cod. but let me tell you something. No matter when the game'll come out, when it does I will come back If there isn't any community left? too bad, I will give the game to my friends and brothers and we'll play on our own server. If they won't I'll play SP like I do already. I hope It will come out sooner than later, but I will not quit.

If and when 4.86 ever comes out, I'll return. At which point I'll try to resurrect the NTF in earnest. (RL needs permitting, of course.)
But until then I really don't see the point in checking in very often. This is one of those things I've had to learn to not pay too much attention to. Like with BlackWater Ops on the Freespace forums -- which still hasn't been released, btw, due to (quite literally) a decade of feature creep.
