We help the LSF and Liberty Navy tackling pirates in and around Liberty.
We need a strong LSF and Navy to keep Liberty safe and that helps my convoys and therefor company profits.
The LSF or Navy have never objected before so we will continue to use it.

Speaking of available to buy, check Planet Kurile sometime. Ship locations are messed up.

And, while we're at it with your shiplist...

[KoF]-Drover 58 Connecticut Raven's Talon
[KoF]-Kaim 64 Connecticut Raven Claw

What the hell is this?

The Raven Claw is an LSF ship, and the Raven's Talon is an Order ship. LSF and the Order hate each other with a burning passion. While they are both in Connecticut at the time I grabbed that, I assume that you occasionally take them OUT of the ooRP system and, you know, RP with them. Funny how well that kind of thing went over with [Incom], they almost got KoS'd in Liberty for that.

EDIT: My bad, its the "Talon" that is an Order ship. The Raven's Talon is a pirate vessel in practice. Same idea, not quite as bad.

Considering your fragile status with Kusari due to using Hiroshima as a shortcut and the fact that Rheinland does NOT appreciate an LSF spy ship flying around (expect Raven's Talon to get shot up by the [RM]) that doesn't exactly give you a lot of places to trade, seems that intra-Bretonia routes aren't really that good. That is, of course, until the Queen extradites you to Liberty for execution.

I highly suggest taking the hint here and moving to ships that say 'civilian' on them.

The Raven Claw is an Order ship, and the Raven's Talon is an LSF ship.
First, you got that backwards. Second, you're thinking of the Talon. The Raven's Talon is made by the IMG, IIRC.

My bad, but the Raven's Talon is the pirate vessel. You see it used by the old NovaPG, a few Corsairs, and a decent number of RoS. So its not quite as bad, but still bad...

Far to many big mouthed r/p lawyers, for goodness sake, at the heart of it all it's only a game which most of us play for fun, back off and let the fun begin. and stop trying to rule.

Amen Atom

Always some guys try to impose their idea of real roleplay on everyone else.
For goodness sake relax and enjoy the game.

Quote:Raven's Talon was designed by Independent Miners Guild for commercial purposes. Excellent speed, extended power capacity, and well-known quality standards of IMG made this ship popular on black market.
It's IMG so Lawful like the KoF
We trade extensively with IMG so we buy from them in "The Black Market"

Nice.

I made this topic after I saw the [Incom] using them, And then I saw on the server members list (good luck finding the link), showing ships, names and locations, like 50% or more of the people in liberty using them...+ some of them were FAR out of their ZOI (eg. O-5...)

I was like "LOLWUT??!?". In the past the ship wasn't Whored much. It was scarce so we had no reason really to make fuzz about it. But now, it is too popular because of the 8 guns features. The ship is so USED that some LSF members don't want to fly it because of that.

In 4.83 the Raven's Talon was whored to hell
In 4.84 it is now the Raven's claw.
sad but undenieable.

KoF, with all due respect you cannot simply say that Sovereign is trying to impose "His way of Roleplaying over others". No, hes just trying to explain to you why you shouldn't use it, and doing so by coming from a Roleplaying perspective. Everything he says makes sense.

The KoF is universal traders right? Basicly trying to wander the whole Sirius and keeping the house factions to atleast neutral to them.

So lets say that you can somehow use the Ravens Claw. Fine, it's LSF ship, that means the minute you enter Rheinland you would be looked upon as a spy or something that identifies you as hostile due to your ship.

About the Ravens Talon, now that's a more grey area, and for the sake of having fun, and being understanding. I guess you can use it.

But I cannot see no roleplay reasons for you to use the Ravens Claw.

As Gronath told Suzanna, do you have any strong arguments to why you should use it? So far i've seen two arguments and that is: "Stop rule lawyering about roleplay" and "It's just a game".

Then its up to the LSF leaders to decide, just like Sovereign said:

' Wrote:If the [KoF] escorts get special permission from the LSF to use them, then fine. If not, then expect some rough-housing, its a military grade stealth ship after all. If you want to fly it, make an LSF or use openSP. Not that hard. Same thing with capital ships, just less dangerous.

It's not up to you, even though you are a faction leader, dosen't give you the right to give permission for vessels that you do not "own" or "control". If that was the case, then the Corsair faction-leaders could simply say "Well, since i'm the faction leader, i'm the one who gives permission to my members if they want to use the Sabre". It dosen't work that way.

Also, a person (or a group) refusing to let go of: Wepons, ships or something similar, even though it's completely against their Roleplay to use them. That is called destroying the fun for others and in no way is it trying to "make our roleplay rules and follow them" it's the universal rule, the spirit of roleplay. You destroy the spirit of roleplay by violating it, and frankly you are doing that right now by using such a vessel.

You know folks, what you all have to realise is the until either the info cards are clearly marked, or that there is equality for ships and weapons that it is human nature to get the best you can, I know all your concerns about R/P, the trouble is that until ships that belong to factions are placed on bases that are unaccessable to non faction members, the trend will continue, regarding my ship the Ravens Talon it's sold on a civilian base and belongs to a house faction, however if an Admin (real R/P lawyer) tells a player that they cannot have specific ship then it's up to the player to change it, but for the sake of peace and harmony I shall change my ship, Perhaps some ship designers out there might create a unuversal Trader and Fighter that will match the best.
