Under the command of Korvettenkapitan Rall, Hauptgefreiter Guntram and me moved to Frankfurt on a recon mission to identify a couple of ships in the area. They were one Unioneer fighter (Bernd Schuster) and one Red Hessian Cruiser from Wraith (Aufstand). With both targets identified we stood by for support from AEGIS. The battle cruiser reached us and we dealt first with the Red Hessian Cruiser. The Unioneer ship offered some resistance at first, but seriously outnumbered moved to flee the area.
Fregattenkapitan Schprokets took charge of the flight group right afterwards. A group of Phantoms entered New Berlin as we were returning. We moved in to intercept, but as we reached Hamburg they were already spotted outside of Rheinland territory.
As our ships were regrouping a Bundschuh vessel (Herr_Ripplinger) was spotted at the jump gate to Frankfurt. The ship jumped to the system and we followed suit. There it grouped with a LWB ship (Ahren.Varick) and we engaged. A RepEx operative (Gunther) from the Black Talon squadron joined us. After a long fight, the Bundschuh ship fled and the LWB was destroyed.

I was alone in patrol today. Everything seemed quiet in New Berlin, but awfully busy in Stuttgart, so I decided to move there. After processing the clearance of many traders I was informed by long range stations that the Bundschuh Herr_Ripplinger (Border Worlds Sabre) was moving across Rheinland territory. At that moment he had just entered Dresden. I then decided to take the jumpgate to the system. As soon as I jumped I met the criminal. We then engaged and quickly I managed to damage his fighter badly with a razor shot and a nuclear mine. He then fled to the Frankfurt jumpgate. Even though I imagined it to be a trap I followed suit.
As I reached Frankfurt the Bundschuh had managed a good distance from me. As I moved closer to the tradelanes I noticed another hostile ship had joined, another Sabre ([Wraith]Shadow). I stuck to my first target while avoiding the second's ship fire. Quickly I landed another two Razor shots that forced the first ship to leave. I then moved my attention to the second ship.
The battle was fierce, but ended quickly, as both my ship and his sucumbed to the same mine blast. Unfortunately the Wrath indeed seems very susceptible to these mines. I had my hull untouched as the mine made contact.

The ship BOZO_BOO was spotted again inside the New Berlin system. Again it refused to obey orders and ignored as I issued it the 8 million credit fine for his past crimes. He tried fruitlessly to escape me. It was a very long chase. He either tried to fool or tire me, but I was determined to not let him get away with another crime. I reached it as we were some 130k from New Berlin. As he refused all orders to stop I disposed of his ship.

As the traffic in New Berlin became more quiet, a trader ship registered BOZO_BOO was hailed and ordered to stop for inspection. He refused and docked at The Ring. I told him that it was a mistake and gave him a chance to correct it by returning to the planet. As he was undocking from The Ring, I moved in to intercept figuring he might try and run. As I was moving another ship entered the area and I decided to stop it so I could inspect it. BOZO_BOO took the chance to make a run for it, completely disregarding orders to stop. I issued his name as that of an enemy of the state for disobeying military directives and warned him not to return to Rheinland as he moved out. Later, the same ship returned and was pursued by me, RepEx security operator Gunther and the ship AEGIS, all the way from New Berlin to Munich, through Halle. There, even though I warned Nuremberg's dock personnel, he managed to land his transport. I strongly recommend that we issue a letter of complaint to Nuremberg demanding explanations on the matter. It seems the dock workers in Munich feel they can ignore orders from the RM.

I will be trying to formulate the events of the day into... some form of a manageable... manageable coherence. Forgive me if it takes a good amount of time.. We had everything happen today but... but having it rain nomads.... Pirates, gunboats, mercenaries, freelancers, cruisers, traders, more pirates, and more traders...
then some contraband, some police tickets... alot... of police tickets...
It... it was a mess... So much that i jested about... just scribbling on the report filing... it would make more sense that way i think... Forgive me, but i need time to reformulate all of the video captures, and net logs into something... reportable?
I can say this.. Filth was removed from our homeland. Rheinland triumphed all day long! The high point of the day was when a previously defeated failure, purchased a gunboat just to try again later in the day. Needless to continue, he failed even harder.
I will formulate it all... But right now, i need... i need to lie down...
Oh... one last thing.. when troop moral was starting to fade, we were able to brighten our spirits.. of course, we also um... well, nothing bad happened. We just confused a trader a bit, but he understood after a little explaining..

Hauptgefreiter Lang and me were on patrol today as we noticed an unidentified ship in Stuttgart. After processing a batch of incoming ships in New Berlin we moved in to investigate. The ship, a Bretonian Gunboat identified davegt.3 and registered to a Mercenary was hailed and ordered out. Some of the traders passing by the area informed us that ship had attempted pirating traders outside of Rheinland territory. We escorted the ship to the Sigma-7 jump gate. The ship returned to Rheinland afterwards, this time through Dresden but was lost as we moved in to intercept.
After Hauptgefreiter Lang left I went back to Stuttgart as a pair of SCRA ships showed up. Ivan Voronov and Sonja Voronov, both piloting Raven's Talon ships. I had one of RepEx's Black Talon operatives help me. As I was ordering them out of Rheinland territory an Outcast ship passed me by and entered New Berlin. I moved in to engage the Outcast and after making sure New Berlin was safe I returned to deal with SCRA. Pilot MP joined in to assist. A Corsair in a Liberty gunboat joined them too. As the proper engagement started, MP's ship succumbed first, then RepEx. I was nearing my destruction, but for some reason I was spared by the SCRA pilots who left Rheinland right after that. In no condition to give pursue and having the hostile ships leaving our territory I took my ship back to New Berlin.

I.. I will be listing off the offenders, mentioned in my earlier report, followed with their crimes and status of justice. I have gone through my ships files, and found most of the information on the events of the night and early morning shift of the 4th and 5th.
Patrol started.
Wraith ship was presently engaged with RepEx and DW forces. Wraith was a VHF class, sabre. I engaged as well, backup began to pour in from both sides. Enemy was vastly outclassed and outnumbered.
Enemy backup consisted of a ravens claw named Dark Ranger, an outcast gunboat known as Beasti Intergalactica, and... im not sure but maybe one other unioner. The furball of the mass amount of allied ships fighting the pirates had my scanners flipping around..
Wraith vessel was destroyed, Dark ranger was destroyed, and the outcast gunboat.... docked on the ring... after investigation, some lane hacker liberty script is suspected. He was apprehended later, so no matter.
The next bit of action.. a "zoner" that had previous crimes against rheinland was instructed to be destroyed. The ships name was Major Zero. Flying a liberty gunboat, after being attacked he also ran and docked on the ring. I have footage of this happening, to add to his record of discord in our space.
I think around here is when Beasti Intergalactica was seen in Dresden. We all moved, and his ship was destroyed. I have footage of his destruction, not visual, but log recording.
Then we had all manner of.. ignorance spew in. The next ship, i believe, was a corsair bomber by the name of Gaza? No... Garva.. Pictures confirm Garva.. Anyways... he, well.. he flew right to new Berlin, and started to bomb a trader in front of the planet... He was quickly destroyed, and then within about... 5 to maybe 8 minutes, had acquired a new ship and was already back. I instructed him to leave the system, which he did not. He instead offered some... very rude rebuttal, and i began destroying his ship again. The other two officers on at the time were tending to more important matters with larger threats in our other systems, so i delt with this one mostly on my own. He fired no shots back, and his ship was not destroyed again. I made sure he would have to limp from this beating though.
After speaking with the corsair for some time, because he also landed on a base belonging to allies of the rheinland militairy, he undocked, and was lead out of the system by Hans Kreiger and myself. He seemed to be having an identity crisis, but we were not about to help him...
Upon our return to rheinland space, we immediately found a... Hessian cruiser? Yes, named Varyag attacking civilian ships 13k away from new berlin. Only fighters on at the time, we delayed for a moment, then attacked in force after backup was... thought to be secured. Luckily, the thought was correct, and the... va... vene.... One of our own Rheinland Militairy Cruisers showed up to aid in the pirates destruction.
A few civilians, whom previously were dying, sat and watched the fight. They seemed... disappointed that we had won. At this point, i was getting fed up with the idiocy of the traders, and actually... requested to remove the enemy sympathizers.... Fortunately for them, my request was denied. Jckhmr-2 and Kleinee(T) were the two.... disappointed civilians.. I wish i was allowed to make them realize what we just saved them from..
Next up, i held the fort, while the other two officers secured our other systems. They suspected... that there were enemies of our chancellor there, i don't recall if they confirmed or not, because soon after they left, dark ranger returned. I decided to hold him off myself while the other officers investigated, his newly acquired gunboat seemed to be giving him more trouble than he could give me. Yes... he bought a gunboat to try and attack us again... I was pleased to show him that.. it was a futile waste of his credits. After fighting him for a, lets say appropriate amount of time alone, i called the other two fighters back in order to kill him. I had little hope of destroying his gunboat by myself, and i was more than glad to receive the help from all the officers on patrol. We quickly destroyed his gunboat, which tried to flee just as the officers arrived. Spine to come in in a gunboat for one fighter, but no spine to face the inevitable. We made him face it none the less.
We had a rough time with some traders, being aggravating for the sake of it. Followed by alot of nonsensical com chatter from them, and then a sos from a trader being attacked at the hamburg jump gate. The pirate blew him up for revealing his location, and the RM went to apprehend. I cut through Frankfurt, while the other two officers went straight for him. We met the pirate at planet hamburg, and destroyed his ship. Pirate was... Julo? and the trader was... Shinju.... So much happened... im sorry for the approximation on these names... my log files were filling and needed dumping it seems...
We then suffered through more ignorant traders... Complaining that we were wasting their time, and not being in the "right spots" to actually help... Yet every pirate that showed up during the patrol, was either destroyed or forced out. Only one trader fell prey, and he was dishonorably destroyed, and well.... i wont be shedding a tear for his loss of "money"... that was shinju, whom decided to scream and moan about losing his investment, before being worried that his investment was passengers... human lives left floating in space and he was too concerned about us not being exactly where he was to stop the loss of his income....
We... we had a slight moral boosting experience... it broke the tension, and raised our spirits to deal with... well the next fool to come to rheinland. I docked to process some video feed for documentation, and when i returned someone named frood was causing trouble for our officers. I moved to help dispatch this "frood" when the officers told me of quite a list of contraband he was hauling:
Artifacts
Counterfeit Software
Minor Nomad Brain
Nomad
Slaves
Plutonium (not contraband, but he advertised its use and that use was for malicious purpose along with the other contraband)
Synthetic Marijuana
All logged in photographic evidence.
At mention of the slaves, i was already ordering his vessel destroyed, and then thrown into the gravity pull of the sun... I moved in at full aggression, and saw to it he was destroyed in the utmost effective manner, and that he would not again be hauling his filth through our systems..
And again, a while later, someone with a big mouth came into new Berlin complaining and sympathizing with our enemies... A trader found the need to try and defend this "frood" in that he was simply not right in the head. I personally don't care... The slaves were rescued, the other contraband ... dest... destroyed.. The slaves were turned over for identification and processing.
The next bit was nice.. it was quiet again.. things were going smoothly, no more pirates, and patrols were ending. We were going to get to sleep..
Then, Shinju or whatever his worthless name is came back... Having already caused problems, and already been snippy, and already an inhumane dretch that in my opinion has no right to be protected, decided it would be a "fun" idea to fire a few volleys onto me... We returned the favor, spoke with him for quite some time, and blasted his ship down to it needing to limp off to the closest base out of new Berlin and repair.
I would like to request that this trader, be placed on a list... a new list.. a list of traders that receive no help, or aid from the Rheinland Militairy. He seems not to be grateful at all for it, and wishes that we were not there to "slow him down". So, lets let the pirates and terrorists slow him down instead? Of course, we must always scan and keep an eye on his activities.. he also eluded to smuggling contraband into our fine systems...
I honestly wish that people could just... just be decent to one another... I would rather be out of a job, than see this kind of... just indecency towards one another...

I requested an explanation from the pilot, but the best he could do was, "I'm protecting Liberty's interests. I'm escorting a trader", even though that wasn't the case, apparently. I then told him he would be escorted out of Rheinland. He engaged his cruise engines and moved towards Brandenburg. I then ordered him to stop his vessel and gave pursuit. The ship managed to reach the Sigma-13 jumphole and didn't come back.

The pilot of the ship Sinjo (Mammoth, Trader ID) continues in his crusade to try and demoralize RM pilots at any cost. After verbally insulting and disrespecting Rheinland Military officers and mocking our procedures copiously the ship was tracked down and found at the crossing by Strausberg and Bonn by the Jaeger. The ship then managed to arrange for docking clearances from the Strausberg bridge. After we contacted the bridge of the Strausberg, the ship was forced out. We then engaged and destroyed the ship.
Many minutes later Gefreiter Quentin informed that our ground personnel had reports of a known smuggler ship roaming our outter systems. As we deployed to try and box the ship, we noticed the pilot Zapp, from BLS, lurking in Frankfurt. I had Quentin investigate and asked AEGIS to give him support. Since I was in a bomber and figured Zapp would probably be in a fighter, I decided to stay back and patrol the planet imagining it could be a ruse to drive us away from New Berlin. Moments later I picked up Zapp on my scanners.
My scanners would barely lock him, so I figured he should've circled around the planet to avoid our sensors. I had our flight group split and find him. A few moments later Gefreiter Quentin reported positive contact around the Sigma-13 jumphole and engaged. Zapp was flying a Blood Dragon VHF.
As I was moving to assist I noticed a Corsair ship entering the area from the jumphole, a Titan registered as Phaedrus Zeta. My fighting with that one didn't last long. Even though I was loosing ground gradually, I was also springing my trap for him and eventually scored a straight antimatter cannon shot at his ship before he could react and raise his shields.
Quentin and the Outcast were still fighting when I cleared the Titan's debris. I then moved to help Quentin, but as I approached the area my sensors read a sudden shut down of Quentin's systems that rendered his ship motionless enough time for the Outcast to destroy his ship. As I moved in and collected his scape pod, the Outcast, in a very bad shape, evaded me and fled to Sigma. Quentin is now recovering at our hospital, his wounds are very superficial and he should be okay in no time.
I'd like to recomend that Gefreiter Quentin receive the Wound Badge in recognition of his excellent performance in battle and the unfortunate problem with his ship.

During a late night sweep of New Berlin I found one Cratoria, I believe. In front of New Berlin planet harrassing all who passed and trying to tax. I also found Cardimine with a scan. Logged and dumped to my personal records. For veiwing please request records. (Photobucket where I have them is down for some reason.) I told him to bring me the cardimine he knew the rules. I'd let it go with a warning fine of 2 million credits. Of course he said no. I engaged, to no avail. A mysterious ion storm blew in outta Sigma 13 and all electronics were off line for a while. Upon return, the area was clear.
