SF Message Dump - Spartan-248 - 05-07-2007 Transmit to: SF Command Staff Comm ID: Trainee Gordon Recently took a test flight in one of those new Arrow Interceptors. Handles better then anything, has a rather powerful weapon system and is extremely fast to boot. I believe these vessels could be of great asset to the SF as Scout and Harassment craft, able to get into hostile space, cause some chaos, and then slip out. Awaiting your response. Transmission ends SF Message Dump - Firebird - 05-07-2007 ' Wrote:Transmit to: SF Command Staff Transmit to: Trainee Gordon Comm ID: Admiral Firebird Well if the ship producer is willing to conduct business with us proceed in aquiring the craft. (OOC: if the place where the ship is produced is lawful and not currently hostile with BAF and given its a small ship no prob, remember to have at least one SF ship/character with a bretonia craft though - if this isn't stated on the faction post, I think it should be and unless any real objections I will add it). Transmission ends SF Message Dump - Koolmo - 05-07-2007 Well, its civie, and sold in Cali, so I think we should have no trouble with it. It is a little lightly armed though. SF Message Dump - Firebird - 05-07-2007 Posted for reference only...questions or comments, post/PM as appropriate FROM: Admiral Firebird TO: SA and SF high commands The SA's attacks on Omicron Theta are a concern for us, more for the safety of the Zoners and civilian personnel stationed in the area. Needless to say, the SF is taking a neutral role in this situation. And in accordance with that, SA vessels are not to proceed through Bretonian space to attack the AW, likewise AW will not proceed through Bretonia to attack SA. AW traders will be permitted into Cambridge. AW vessels wishing passage outside of Cambridge will state their destination and are to be escorted to and from their destination. AW vessels found outside of Cambridge are to be escorted towards Omega-5 (not Megellan). Non-compliance will be met with deadly force. Any hostile encounters between SA and AW in Bretonian space, SF will order both vessels to leave the area. And fines to the instigator will be assessed for breaking our neutrality. OOC: There have been AW vessels docked on Cambridge (ships other than traders). Those vessels are reminded you're not welcomed in Bretonia and should be docked somewhere else. AW is free to VISIT, not STAY and make bloody home. The heavier restrictions are on AW due to their previous attacks against the SF and BAF. End of Transmission SF Message Dump - Constantine - 05-07-2007 Transmit to: SF Command Comm ID: Captain Lancer(I think) This is Captain Lancer of the Sirius Federation Battleship Paladin. Several months ago, my ship, my crew and I were on an escort mission in the Tau-31 system. At the Tau-29 jumpgate we were ambushed by a large group of Kusari battleships: we had no other option but to retreat, as we powered up the cruise engines we took a direct his to the reactor core. The core started to overload and in an attempt to seal the reactor the engines overloaded which caused us to stay in cruise for around 17 hours. After the engineers managed to stabalise the engines we dropped out of cruise but we were hundreds of thousands of kilometers away from anything. We plotted a course to the Leeds jumpgate, expecting it to take about a day at our current speed because of the engine damage. However, we had not traveled over 10k when we picked up a strong spacial distorsion on the scanners. The distorsion apporached the ship and overloaded our computer network, and caused extensive damage to the ship we began to bring the ship's systems back online. After days of repairs the external scanners were brought online. Using the star charts of the sector we had estimated our location to be over 6 billion kilometers from the nearest system with a jumpgate or hole. We had no choice but to set a course for it and hope for the best. After several months of constant cruise speed we have just enetered communications range of the sector, we estimate that we are still 800,000k from the Omicron Theta system but bacause of the extansive trade routes that run through that system we expect to be able to return to Bretonia within the week. End of Transmission OOC: I'm back :yahoo: SF Message Dump - BestFlyerHere - 05-07-2007 Comm ID: Lt. Kaine To: Admiral Firebird Sir, I apologize for my neglect of my patrols. I am requesting permission to create a gunboat. I would like to keep the AW-SA fights out of my home with this new ship. I feel that I would not be able to defend our beloved system with my Templar only. (BTW, is there a BAF dessie?) For the Federation!!! SF Message Dump - Firebird - 05-07-2007 FROM: Admiral Firebird TO: SF personnel Welcome back Lancer, its been a long time. I'm relaying recent communications and reports to bring you up to speed on current events (OOC: read up on a couple of the more recent message dump pages). But to summarize: Kusari KNF is running convoys from the Taus through Edinburgh and Dublin to Omega-49 in order to obtain needed deuterium. We're running interception with the largest vessel allowed being gunboats due to the Dublin asteriod fields (OOC: agreed upon with KNF to make it only involve smaller vessels rather than battleships). KNF are to remain outside of Bretonia (apart from the transport escort), and we're staying out of Kusari, any major fighting between the two is to occur in the Taus (clean RP fighting). AW-HF-SA AW and HF are allied and after a war and their threats against Bretonia both groups are unwelcomed in Bretonia. Both AW and HF are permitted to enter Bretonia but must have a clear destination and are only to be visiting rather than staying. If found in Bretonia, they're to state their destination and be escorted, otherwise they can be turned around (AW to Omega-5, HF to Megellan). AW recently declared war on SA, our position is neutral but acting as barrier to both sides. AW is denied passage though Bretonia to Megellan along the same lines SA is not to travel through Bretonia to attack the AW. Any hostile incidents between the two will result in fines for braking our neutrality. Phantoms, The Brotherhood, and a couple of Rogues are the primary hostile groups that have been active in Bretonia for the last bit. To Lt. Kaine, permission granted on creation of the gunboat (SFGB-Dessie or you talking destroyer, yes there is a bret destroyer). Remember both AW and HF can enter Bretonia (they're unfriendly not hostile), they just need to state where they're going. So don't be too ichy on the trigger finger, if you feel the need to shoot something head to Tau-31 where its useful. End of Transmission SF Message Dump - BestFlyerHere - 05-07-2007 Comm ID: Lt. Kaine To: Admiral Firebird Roger that sir. I was inquiring upon the Bretonian Destroyer, as it is rarely seen among our fleet. If possible, I would like to create a destroyer-class ship. It will be hard, but I will refrain from firing upon either the SA or the AW if they are in this conflict. SF Message Dump - Firebird - 05-07-2007 ' Wrote:Comm ID: Lt. Kaine Same as before, no prob. SF Message Dump - Trip - 05-08-2007 Transmit to: All SF personal Comm ID: Trainee Trip I'm glad to be back with the crew. I, unforunately, had to take an honourable leave due to business I had to take care of back home on planet Cambridge, but now I have returned. I am ready to serve again for SF and am currently awaiting my orders. Transmission Ends OOC: I had to stop playing due to university:P It was definitely starting to get affected but now it's over for the year, at least until September. I haven't got my SF character up and running yet as I'm trying to save up some money on my starting character to transfer over so I can at least start with a decent fighter. Cheers! |
