SF Message Dump - Ant - 05-21-2007 Transmit to: Battlegroup Stormpike Comm ID: Captain Buxton, SFBS Repulse To all those fresh on the front with Kusari, welcome to Battlegroup Stormpike. The Kusari have been reported making fresh inroads recently and it's our job to stop them. Kusari Convoy Interceptions The Admiral has left standing orders to hit KNF convoys carrying Deuterium from Omega 49 to Kusari space. Quote:Kusari Military convoys are travelling between Kusari space and Omega-49 through Dublin, Edinburgh, and some of the Tau's as part of a continuous RP event. Standing orders are for gunboats and smaller craft to intercept and destroy the military tagged transports (larger vessels are not to be used by either side). Preference is given for eliminating the vessels on their return trip so as not to deprive the Zoners of their cargo. KNF vessels in Omega-49 are subject to the protection of the Zoners in order to complete the trade transaction, as such SF personnel shall not provoke the Zoners by entering Omega-49 while the transports are transferring their cargo.Ships belonging to Lion Squadron are recommended to treat these convoys as a high priority target. Interception should be easiest near the Omega 49 jumphole in Dublin. Cruise disruptors will be necessary to stop the convoys and it is suggested you keep a good supply on hand to prevent the transports from regaining cruise. The transports may be protected so expect a challenge. The convoys are likely to take any one of three jumpholes when leaving Dublin. Leeds jumphole is the least probable route due to BAF defenses in that sector, however, Chester and Edinburgh are another matter. While in Dublin system, you can take missions from the Battleship Essex to improve your BAF Guard rating. Capture Kusari Elite Pilots All of Battlegroup Stormpike can assist in operations against the Kusari invaders sighted in Dundee system(accessible from Tau 31 and Edinburgh). Kusari Elite fighters have also been sighted there so expect a challenge. The Admiral has a reward offered to those who are most successful at capturing these Kusari Elite pilots, as has been mentioned in previous messages. Tau 31 patrols The Kusari still contest Tau 31 and Tau 29 so expect enemy capital ship patrols. Any KNF spotted in this region may be engaged at will. When entering Tau 31 from Leeds, it's likely Kusari destroyer and gunboat patrols will be in the vicinity of the jumpgate. Expect considerable Kusari and Gaian resistance near Planet Harris. Fighters and Gunboats from MacDuff battlegroup may be able to offer some support. A significant Kusari presence, especially battleship patrols, has been reported around Holmann Outpost. Approaching the Tau 29 jumpgate, you're likely to see Kusari Destroyer and gunboat patrols. When pushing into Tau 29, be aware that heavy Destroyer and Gunboat squadrons have been sighted around the jumpgate. Extreme caution is advised while operating in Tau 29. Any souvenirs you collect can be put on display at the Stormpike table in the Officer's club. Drop in there while off duty to share your stories with the rest of the SF. Good luck out there. End transmission SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 05-22-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel; emphasis to Admiral Firebird Comm ID: Commodore Hyperwave Due to a recent bonus from the BAF, I have decided to take a vacation in Liberty. I will be headed to Manhattan to enjoy the planet-sized city, and take a break from the usual pressures of my job. Due to my visiting a highly developed an civilized planet, I will be able to remain communicable during this time period. However, I will not be able to get back to my normal command duties until approximately the first standard day of the sixth standard month (1 June) as I plan to enjoy myself as much as possible. Much of my family is from Liberty, and I look forward to meeting them. As for now, I will assume leave until the previously designated time. (OOC: I've got the end of the year coming up now, and my teachers are making the final push this week before finals. Over the weekend and most of next week, I will be studying for finals, and my attendance will be spotty at best. Following the end of the term, I will be able to resume full duties again for SF and Discovery. I will be on mostly just to check the board for five minutes or so.) transmission ends... SF Message Dump - Raven_ipb2_import227 - 05-22-2007 Transmit to: Captain Buxton Comm ID: Trainee Raven.Corvus Copy that sir! Standing orders to engage KNT transports as primary targets Will pass on orders to the rest of the squadron Permission to speak freely sir! "I think too many Lion Sqd pilots are on leave sir, we need more pilots out there!" MESSAGE ENDS SF Message Dump - Ant - 05-23-2007 Transmit to: Raven.Corvus, Lion Squadron Comm ID: Captain Buxton, SFBS Repulse Unfortunately there's little we can do about the number of available pilots at any particular time. If insufficient support is available to have any chance of success against the convoys, I would recommend proceeding with another objective until support is available. We can't expect to stop them all. End transmission SF Message Dump - Koolmo - 05-23-2007 Transmit to: Captain Buxton, SFBS Repulse Comm ID: Captain Koolmo, Knights Well, I could move myself up to that sector for the moment, I'm in New London currently, looking for smugglers. I'd be quite happy to test my teeth on some KNF escorts, although my ship is not equipped to take out a transport. Captain Koolmo, out. SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 05-23-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Commodore Hyperwave Moving the Knights to the trading systems would be an excellent idea given the ship restrictions. However, we should not limit them to that, as there may be more important duties in a different location. While I believe that Lion squadron seems understaffed at the moment, we just received a large amount of new recruits, and most likely will in the future. Hopefully, time will allow for that breach to be filled in Lion Squadron. commodore hyperwave out... SF Message Dump - gemini_75 - 05-24-2007 Transmit to: SF Command & All SF Personnel Comm ID: GEMINI_75 ************************************** Intelligence indicates the KNF are now using private traders for their shipment thought Britonian space please be aware of the following ship(s). Yacht-Adamantine : Lux Liner (Orbital Spa and Cruise tag) Be aware they may have KNF escort. Good Hunting, End transmission *************************************** ' Wrote:From: Commander, Logistics support squadron "Kagi, " Nago station, Tau-29 SF Message Dump - Firebird - 05-24-2007 Transmit to: SF Personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird I hereby promote BILLY_THE_KID to the rank of Lieutenant in the SF for time served and meeting the rep requirements for his new rank. Congratulations and may your service in defending Bretonia and being a member of the SF continue into the future. End of Transmission SF Message Dump - Raven_ipb2_import227 - 05-26-2007 Transmit to: Admiral Firebird CC: High Ranking SF Comm ID: Trainee Raven.Corvus Action Report; There was some activity in New London Today sir, so I took my fighter down from Leeds to check up on things. I found a HRM Trader (Banzai-Osveta) carrying Light Arms from New London headed to Cambridge, after scanning the transport I opened a comms channel and told him to stop and return to the planet to sell his goods. The trader did not stop nor acknowledge my messages on comms. I decided to tale the trader to see what his drop of point was for these light arms. He carry on through Cambridge into Omega 5, where I witnessed him docking at Cadiz base. I then realised what was going on, he was supplying the Corsairs with arms in return for Artifacts! He had a full hold of em, when he left. Once he returned Cambridge he made straight for New London, at this point he turned comms, trying to convince me to give up on him. I refused to stand down, unless all smuggling operations within bertonia were halted. He did not like this answer. I kept him talked why tracking a signal coming from New London, it was his contact on New London, the one supplying the arms and buying the artifacts *Data on suspect is attached* At this point I thought I had enough to use full force, having not only worked out his route and contacts within bertonia, I called SFBS Norwich and SFF Kiggles to assit. The HRM "smuggler" at this point was heading back to Omega 5 having just undocked from New London, a final warning with giving, many other traders were still in the system, and tried to advise the HRM smuggler of what would happen next. The smuggler did not listen and once again ran. By this point I had advised the smuggler of the almost all contraband items in Bertonia as well as given him ample chance to give himself up. He still did not yield, we were forced to use lethal force, SFBS Norwich destroyed the trader. It seems the trader ejected just in time, as when a team was sent to pick up his contact on New London they found out that the HRM smuggler had just left with yet another shipment of arms. It seems he had a spare ship waiting on New London. This ship was also chased down and given the chance to drop her cargo, once again it was met with non-compliance sir! So once again lethal force was used, I'm happy to report all crew were able to get off the transport before it was destroyed, we think the crew may have turned on their captain in the last moments before she blew up. The kill was made by SFGB Kings_Lynn who had replaced SFBS Norwich in the chase. SFBS Norwich had headed back to New London to keep the peace there with hi activity in the system. Recommendation: HRM leaders should be informed of their members actions and also informed of contraband laws within Bertonia. Report ends. SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 05-27-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Commodore Hyperwave A Helghast gunboat (Agent 007) was encountered in New London today as the Thames and Beta-3 prepared to engage it. However, the entered New London too quickly, and took the Thames in a matter of seconds. Following this, Beta-3 attempted to engage the gunboat, but with futility. Both the fighter and bomber were destroyed. Due to limited intelligence, we underestimated the threat, which was believed to be a fighter. Have caution around these Helghast agents. They seem to be highly dangerous, possibly more so than the regular Helghast. In addition to this, intelligence reports to the Baskerville Hounds (BH) operating in and around Bretonia. They do appear to be a threat yet, but intel believes that they may soon become one. Commodore Hyperwave out... |
