>>Verifying sender biometrics...Ashley Valent: GATTATAGAGGATTA Dear serrs and ma'ams, Not much to report, as I've taken a few days of my paid holiday to go shopping and spend some time on a beach. It was loads of fun and I got a nice tan!
Yours sincerely, Ashley Valent, Mining Division.Anyway I guess I have to update my action log which I have now done and should now append at the end of my future transmissions. As shown in previous log updates I've a few transport kills and convoys I can now verify which will be reflected in the list at the end. Technicly not a convoy per sé as it was just two transports and no scout, but after I did four FOW loads to Siloso during which fighting was taking place. On the last trip I was warned they were at the T-39 wormhole. I took it upon myself to detoured up to the T-37 hole and snuck in round the back, avoiding confrontation. Next I headed on down to Berlin with um... wopse! Forgot to get the name. One other IMG transport with Niobium just to do the same FOW restock of Falster. (I haven't included this in my work tally due to the lack of scout). Sadly when I arrived and attempted a second load I ran into ~VP)Druzhinok, [P]Jack.the.Thief, and um... El.Macho. They triggered the Falster shields and demanded 10 million or my life... Since my food was worth far less than five, I let them know I wouldn't pay that silly price. I thought that was logical, especially since the shield was up and I couldnt deliver the third load total of FOW to Falster. Druzhinok gave a kill order when I said I'd rather run to Aland (which I already had alligned to as per my training). Calling in my situation I made my flight, and Bobbie Kuljem bravely headed in to my aid in his Annapurna, the distraction pulling the CD equipped ship off my tail allowing me to cruise to Aland and dock safely, I took moderate structural damage, but had nanos spare, but lost 3 type 4 turrets and my countermeasures to the nova torpedoes, as sadly the first impact blew the countermeasure off. I hear Bobbie killed the one he distracted all on his own. He's so brave! Anyway, I snuck out of Aland on a jump-passenger liner and met up with Rin at Java to go on holls. I just got back so I delivered the FOW (well more like FW as the oxygen was full). Only other things to note was a run in with a Kruger second fleet mining in our belt with an IMG second fleeter (I let him off with a warning). >>DA:1.0 >>DA:1.1 >>DA:1.2 Also I engaged a hostile junker but failed to tag him, just drove him out the O-7 system around the same time as all the rest of this. >>DA:0.1 EDIT: Oh, P.S. His.Six.Hoofs is stalking, molesting and otherwise threatening to kidnap female pilots, myself included, in T-23. He flies an Arrastra with a CD set up for combat and has a generic Pirate ID and has even run off Ms. Huntington once when she tried to help me so he must have some skill at least. I have alread lost a ship to an Outcast in a gunboat since I was pinned down and trapped at the Gallic battleship near the Orkney hole. Obliterated by nova torpedoes. Please put a KOS order on him. RE: Independent Miners Guild Comm System (GuildComm) - cabinn - 07-11-2013 :: Incoming Transmission :: :: Encryption level: High :: :: Source: Pilot Starless Black :: Subject: Report :: Guild members I was moving my empty Arrastra from Jakarta to Java this evening when a I was CD’d by a solo outcast, ID: Polar. He demanded 2 million. I chuckled at him as the ship was empty. Without much interest in haggling, this outcast blasted large chunks off of the ship. I had to eject a few clicks from Java. Station flight control dispatched a rescue patrol and my wreckage and I made it back fine. While going through a completely unnecessary check at the sick bay, I was told that IMG|Linebacker had arrived in system and our friend Polar was neutralized. Much thanks to the Linebacker! >>Verifying sender biometrics...Ashley Valent: GATTATAGAGGATTA Dear serrs and ma'ams, Another covoy report! I got wind that Falster was low on FOWBA and since my yacht was up in Tau, I asked if anyone wanted to join me moving down a shipment of Niobium. I had a rocky start when I lost a shipment and ship to a Cruiser, but I grabbed a second hand replacement after the area was cleared and was joined by the IMG|Alicanto for the trip to Berlin. Mr. Hamilton, a new recruit to first fleet, kindly offered to get some experience at scout work, and was very efficient. Thanks, Mr. Hamilton.
Yours sincerely, Ashley Valent, Mining Division.Upon arival we moved a few supplies to Falster, and we met up with a local mining division workcrew and set to work on some silver. Renverton turned up again and tried to shake down Mr. Hamilton's transport, but a nice Rhienland police officer was in the mining field, asking if we'd seen a DSE member in the area, and so caught sight of Renverton's antics. I um... kinda flew in formation with Mr. Hamilton, and once the Corsair opened up on Mr. Hamilton's transport, I um... immediately started firing distracting broadsides from my Annapurna, and the nice policeman in his H.F. also jumped in since Renverton was ignoring the policeman's demands Renverton stand down before any of the firing commenced. As soon as I saw the Corsair turn away from Mr. Hamilton, I commed him to hit his cruise drive, and we moved back in tandem to Freeze-dat to safety. I was um... too scared to head on out but lots of people came to help the nice policeman, and I got a call to bring in some nanobots and batteries, so worked up the nerve to head back out into the fight. However someone managed to knock down Renverton before I was within 2 klicks. I told everyone thanks, and let the nice Rhienish who came to help to please feel free to dock at Freeze for emergency repairs before they headed back out. I hope that was okey? Anyway, we finished our mining, and our convoy reformed at Aland for the return trip with a C.R. transport we bumped into and invited along for the ride. That was much quieter and we all got back without incident, and took the time to restock repair materials to Siloso too because of all that erosion from ice particles in the nebula. RE: Independent Miners Guild Comm System (GuildComm) - cabinn - 07-13-2013 :: Incoming Transmission :: :: Encryption level: High :: :: Source: Pilot Starless Black :: Subject: Report :: Guild members As usual I was at the bar in Java when I received a message from the Lark’s.Tongue transport. It was in Kyushu moving supplies back towards Tau 23. The Tongue had been contacted by the [SIN]Explorer and was asking for an escort back into Tau 23. After that recent outcast problem, my Arrastra was in no shape for an actual encounter, but I thought a diversion may assist the hauler slip thru the system. I launched to find two pirates Captain_Jack_Sparrow and Will_Turner already in a battle with LNS-Sting_Ray. It was mighty strange to see a military ship from Liberty all the way up in the Taus. My diversion went unnoticed, but it didn't matter as both pirates were blasted to bits by LNS-Sting_Ray. Our friend in the [SIN]Explorer successfully slipped thru the system. I returned towards Java and the LNS ship pulled near the station. The Captain said he had been tracking those pirates for sometime and this is just where they ran out of luck. So as usual - things are very UNusual here in Tau23. Starless out :: Transmission Terminated :: RE: Independent Miners Guild Comm System (GuildComm) - ChipAgg - 07-13-2013 >>Communications inbound... Moments of note are detailed below. Firstly, please refer to Ashley Valent's report; http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=14981&pid=1372021#pid1372021 where I used my brand new bomber to scout ahead for her convoy transporting Niobium from the Tau's to Planet New Berlin. This killed two birds with one stone as this enabled me to board my transport which I had parked on New Berlin a few hours previous. My transport was then utilised to transport supplies to Falster station with Ashley's convoy. We then went to mine in the Omega-7 silver field and after we were full a Corsair gunboat decided to attack us. With a little bit of help from a very professional Rheinland Police officer and Ashley's excellant communication skills we evaded the pirate. We formed up the convoy outside Aland and continued with our ore run to Planet Harris. Secondly, I'd like to declare my training task of H-Fuel supply to Arranmore complete. Very uneventful journey, I expect due to the route I took. With H-Fuel from Freeport 10 in Tau-37 I took the hole to Tau-23 then used the gate to enter Tau-31. Through the rocky field north of Tau-31's sun to the Edinburgh jump hole, from there direct to the Dublin jump hole and then direct to Arranmore base who were more than welcoming for the supply of H-Fuel. I chose this route as Bretonian Law implies, this flight runs entirely through Gallian space and technically didn't cross any borders (although I may be mistaken in this so please feel free to correct me). Please refer to the guncam shots below for the evidence. http://i1348.photobucket.com/albums/p726/mike_j_h_86/Freelancer2013-07-1516-31-17-68_zps2b072646.jpg http://i1348.photobucket.com/albums/p726/mike_j_h_86/Freelancer2013-07-1516-32-32-38_zps0f8b9900.jpg Hamilton out. *****GuildComm Deactivated***** RE: Independent Miners Guild Comm System (GuildComm) - cabinn - 07-16-2013 :: Incoming Transmission :: :: Encryption level: High ::: :: Source: Pilot: Gordon Haskell :: :: Source: Ship Rupert’s Lament :: :: Subject: Report :: To Guild Mining Division / Guild Defense Division I was involved in a long liquid enhanced discussion of “the old days” with Starless Black in the Java bar when a dispatch came in from IMG|Never.Early sent a message to Java of a transport needing a load of Nio ore. Starless was in no shape to fly, so I left him in the hands of the barkeep. After launching Rupert’s Lament, I found [SIN]Memphis waiting just outside the station. Java was also being visited by an Outcast - callsign : Prestige. The regular base patrols had him tied up and he gave us no problems. The Never Early continued to watch the long range scanners and keep us informed of ship movements in the area. Once the transport was filled I returned to the Java bar and found a few guild members dragging Starless out. He was yabbering about some Monkey-headed woman he met in the Omicrons.
