RE: WHO is willing to save this mod? - Swallow - 05-09-2014 Recently there is a pretty activity in Omicrons. That guys started doing things, lets all follow their steps. We don't really need any changes in the game so to say, we just need to play more. I don't know how stupid this may sound, but make a no-forum hours at peak times or something like that, tend to switch off the Skype, brains etc., snd just log to stalk someome and start RP. If you feel like not having an idea on what to start with - just go for something stupid. The Discovery is great because of you, guys, because you are there, each of you. Stop claiming and start giving! RE: WHO is willing to save this mod? - glassofwater - 05-10-2014 Swallow had a good point. But it would be great if the admins got in on it too. Disabled forum posting entirely for 1-2 hours a day to push people into the game to RP it out. I dunno though. In my case this is most of the time, yeah, but my options are not Forum/Freelancer. Are Forum/Nothing related with Disco. I bet it is the same situation for many other RE: WHO is willing to save this mod? - Omega472 - 05-10-2014 I like how there's only one answer. Might as well have named it, "How do you think Disco will come back?" 1. Sitting around and waiting 2. More suggestions on deaf ears If you really want to save disco, you need the whole community in on it. Not just a few members. If I am denied chance to post on them, I might as well not even bother trading. RE: WHO is willing to save this mod? - glassofwater - 05-10-2014 Was just a raw idea, would need refining ofc. RE: WHO is willing to save this mod? - Panzer - 05-10-2014 Forums need to stay up, but I say connecticut must go. It proves the point about people coming ingame to find interaction within a reasonable time. Coupled with reducing the galaxy in size - it'll make people fly in normal space. RE: WHO is willing to save this mod? - moebus - 05-10-2014 sounds like the thread is diverging, it becomes really needed to create a new one (both titles works for me Benz) 1. Who are we and what do we want. me: 90% roleplayer + 10% PVP. I am really more interested in RP than in PVP. This morning I get a new idea, not sure it is a good one, but I was thinking we could split the systems in two groups of systems: one part could be more PVP oriented (less restrictions regarding ship, equipment, engagement, etc.) and the other part would be more RP oriented (more realist). the PVP systems would be seen as a "far west" where everything is possible. 2. What can we do (the list on top is a start for that). my contribution would be an improvement of the RP mechanics 3. What is our lore and idea? i am not sure about it yet, but I feel we should get closer to vanilla. at the same time, the disco background is great and we should keep large part of it. So maybe we could start 1 or 2 centuries after the current date and modify things according to our needs. Personally, I would suggest to remove unused system and reduce gallia size (or even remove it completely). 4. Can we convince the devs to team up (for the greater good). if our proposition is serious, attractive and feasible they may consider it. 5. How do we beat Star Citizen*. hard to tell! Citizen looks really great. RE: WHO is willing to save this mod? - Vicho Deivis - 05-13-2014 This isn't going anywhere. Call me when you really want to do something. Until then the "resistence" has it's first official casualty. RE: WHO is willing to save this mod? - Bootsiuv - 05-14-2014 Oops not flood. Lel. Disregard this post pl0x. kthxbai. |
