Discovery Launchpad v1.3 - triple88a - 02-23-2011 I like this, one thing though, do you think you can also add the option to choose a starting system for single player? Discovery Launchpad v1.3 - Klaw117 - 02-23-2011 This program is great, but I have one issue with the screen resolution. I'm using the 1280x1024 screen resolution and when I put that into the Launchpad and launch FL, the HUD and text on the left and right sides of the screen gets slightly cut off. Is there something I have to do to the FL files before using this feature to ensure propoer display of the HUD? Also, when I launch from the Launchpad, I end up seeing the "New Player:" and "Departing Player:" server messages, but when I launch from my FL shortcut on the desktop, those messages don't display (which I prefer). Is this normal? Discovery Launchpad v1.3 - Jongleur - 02-23-2011 ' Wrote:I like this, one thing though, do you think you can also add the option to choose a starting system for single player? As far as I'm aware there's nothing in the shortcut parameters that would allow for that. ' Wrote:This program is great, but I have one issue with the screen resolution. I know there's an issue with certain resolutions not displaying correctly; not sure if 1280x1024 is one of them. Is this normal? There's options on the page called "Show Joining Players", "Show Departing Players", and "Show Lag Indicator" which will do exactly as they suggest when checked. If you do not want to see any of these, just uncheck the corresponding box. Your shortcut most likely doesn't turn any of these flags on, so that would explain why you don't see the messages. And thank you for explaining the "Show Joining Players" and the other options. I didn't quite get what they were at first glance. I'm assuming that as of version 1.2, you need to run this as an admin on Windows 7 x64? Discovery Launchpad v1.3 - Jongleur - 02-24-2011 I've attempted to fix the issue where Vista and Windows 7 users are forced to run Launchpad as administrator. This is my first attempt at embedding manifest files to an exe so hopefully I did it right. Let me know if it works. Discovery Launchpad 1.3 Discovery Launchpad v1.3 - Klaw117 - 02-24-2011 Well, I no longer need to right-click on the shortcut and click "Run as administrator" or go into the properties and set it to always run as an administrator. On the other hand, it still brings up the User Account Control prompt, so it technically still is being run in administrative mode. However, I suppose this really can't be helped since registry entries are being edited, although I am wondering why FAM didn't require administrative rights. Also, a note to 64-bit Windows users: Make sure to change the launch directory from "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE". Discovery Launchpad v1.3 - Oxslow - 02-24-2011 Great program works great and I like having the generator inside of it. :) Edit: All that happens for me is that the UAC windows pops up. That is how I think it should be when programs change the registry. Discovery Launchpad v1.3 - Jongleur - 02-25-2011 Great! Glad it worked out. I don't use Vista or 7 so I had no way to test it out properly. Thanks for the feedback. Discovery Launchpad v1.3 - pruskis92 - 02-25-2011 aim bot included?
