RE: hahaha i guess dublin is grn space now :) - Rodent - 07-05-2014 Calm your mammaries, Omi. Assuming direct control. RP justification exists aplenty for the action, Vredes. A base belonging to a corporation which is state-owned by the House in direct conflict with Gallia and the GRN. Any resources processed or mined there are going to feed enemies, and Dublin is pre-eminently within the GRN's range, being only a jump away from Leeds under their control. So there we go. As for your OORP considerations, consider this. While any miner affiliated with the BMM is going to have a field day mining all day all night with no fear of consequences, I am afraid this is not how the world works. Piracy is difficult enough as it is, and while it may be difficult for you to consider the problems of the dreaded pirate, your mortal foe...he is also a human player. If the GRN hadn't removed that base, a pirate raid would have. It was a relatively easy base to remove. I'll also tell you the correct way of setting your base up. Set it up at a distance from the mine field, so that other people can at least have a chance. Make a partnership with the BAF to defend your base, since y'know...that's their job. And then see what goes down. Nobody is really interested in targeting you or your base specifically. You are not that important, infact you may not be important at all. But making a giant fuss about this certainly serves to blacklist you in the minds of many people. Calm down, wrap it up, start anew. I wish you luck. Not sure if that was supposed to offend me... I am also playing pirates and I know what is it like+the base wasn't mine and if you don't mind reading I proposed that it is rebuild on a distance from the field without the GRN incursion. If you really dislike me that much and think I annoying you should make a poll on my leaving. If you really think I make people that sick they will vote against me. I swear if i get more negatives I will leave disco, disable my account and you wont see me ever again. At least that's all what it seems I could do in support for the Disco community.
