Personnal/unpopular opinion: Limit cloaks to Nomad (inc. Wilde), Order, Core, intelligence agency ID's, SRP and tightly regulated ships that are affilated to those above: black op, undercover, specters.

This would be good, and so much more logical given the lore around such devices. Once again, POBs have taken an interesting RP concept and crapped all over it.

And if this is not possible, those factions should all have much easier access to such tech. I.e Core, Order and Intelligence Faction NPC bases sell unique cloaking devices.

@Omicron pretty much summed up my opinion about the whole cloak thing. Humans just figured out how to make cloaks, and considering almost every second freelancer and pirate have it (from my experience) makes me cringe a bit. I've also heard of some cloak smuggling groups becoming a problem in Lolberty.

Both cloaks and battleships should be less-common toys to see.
