Event Update 08.08.2017 Wrote:Smuggling Goods commodity buy price increased to 2 000 c/u, the bonus has been adjusted accordingly to retain the same profit per unit.

Kill bonuses have been extended to cover the systems connected to Omicron Gamma and Omicron Alpha to prevent players from denying kills by jumping outside of the event area.

Rule Clarifications/Reminders:
-In the case where a cloaked transport docks on your planet and your character had no access to a visual of the cargo, you have no right to invoke roleplay consequences on the character. Use cloak disruptors.
-In the case where a transport successfully evades destruction and docks on the target base and sells the cargo, they may not be treated as a combat target once they undock. They can, however, still be pirated and destroyed if they refuse.
-Smugglers who avoid destruction and complete a run should not be surprised that, just because they buy the other side's smuggling commodity, they are suddenly magically safe from roleplay consequences from being shot in the first place.
^ To completely reinforce the notion, you may treat a transport as a combat target ONLY if they AT THAT POINT IN TIME are carrying the type of cargo that allows you to do so. Any other situation requires a demand.

-Players still may not demand a monetary demand that exceeds the profit of the run. Otherwise they risk of being sanctioned for excessive demands/pvp abuse.
-Players must still give the minimum amount of roleplay before dispatching a smuggler, even if the group members they are in have already demanded the smuggler to stop.

Just making note.. I am new , been on a few weeks, made a char fer the event. Corsair like it will be playing it a fair amout . BUT . the event... I am a trader/smugggler, by preference. I tried the run 2 times died both times. heh heh never been through those sytems befoe, thats fine and fun, but man oh man I am almost outa money buying and losing the carge and stuff. Great event but is is more than I can afford to do as a new player. Havent even gotten into a fighter type ship yet. I may be way of base here, but wouldn't it encourage transports if the loses were less, at least fer noobs Wink . I am more interested in the challeng than the profits Will be better prepared fer the nextevent. . I hope Smile will have to stocck up some cash I guess.. thnx ... yes am luving the event btw. Glad I found this game Smile

Either the Corsair playerbase is dead, or all the Corsair players are logging Order ships to assist smugglers in Alpha for (???) reason. I don't really mind it at all, but you should probably consider adding Order IDs to the hit list for either side that way if Corsair players Order keep logging theres still a reward for the players fighting them.

Why do you think corsair playerbase logging order ships for assist smugglers? & why would even Order will assist smugglers for? Your word make zero sense, tbh.

But it's not their event, they shouldn't be added to it. People should be logging Corsair or Outcast - as they need activity the most, nothing else.

They had their chances for events anyway lmao
