If it is to be given only to select players, (which I'm very much against tbh) it could be done quite easily. Instead of a new ID or a mountable item, a much easier solution. Give them low level admin powers.

For example '.setadmin playername superadmin' gives them ALL the admin powers, which is what [Admin]s have. I'm not sure, but I'm thinking a new class could be made '.setadmin playername police' which gives them clearance to use this command.

Or before it's made public knowledge, the command could just be told to select people, either official faction leaders or dev team testers, but after all the necessary trial periods, I'm for the idea of this feature being open to all players.

*takes off his miner's hat

is there any possibility of this ever happening?

Re-read the first post, Mule edited it to reflect all of the discussions that went on in here. Pretty much anything on this topic that can be said has been said. I'd like for a trial period of this.

I'd like to make a suggestion, why not make a beacon type missle for this instead of a command? Have a super hard to avoid missile, available at max guard rep, that spawn x amount of npcs to attack what its hit with? Would make carriers more rp to.

I feel this would make it more fair and less of a "GO KILL THEM ALL BS NPCS!!!1" kind of deal.

edit for something I just thought of

If this was implemented make the x amount of npcs all that said player could send in to attack, the device would have an absurdly long cooldown and once the target was dead or got away the npc would despawn

GodsFavorite does have a good point though, this discussion died off without anything coming out of it, and I still think this is a good idea. We should try it out, at least.

Looks good to me. Could finally be how we stop smugglers from just fast-docking on Manhattan, and at the least force them to run to Rochester...

Smuggler:Lol u cant noob.

I smell abuse! People would just randomly sick NPCs on one another. It would be chaos in Liberty (Not that it already isn't).

Perhaps certain people get this power?
