Being assigned a mission to assist our forces fighting in the Lorraine battlezone we were met with a stray Maquis cruiser, Pierre.Renard, on our way to the designated sector. The commanding officer of the Maquis cruiser was talking strangely. Nevertheless without wasting any time we took charge of the situation and took down the enemy. The Corsica Incident
As you are likely aware, last month one of our engineering labs in Corsica suffered a severe accident. The lab was heavily damaged, and multiple personnel were injured. I would like to commend Juan Cortés for his quick actions in the wake of the incident, taking control of the situation in the absence of Director Pérez and working to contain damage.

Director Pérez was injured in the incident. We are still piecing together the information but it appears that during a physical examination of the test article she came into direct contact with a fragment of nomad material, which pierced through her cleansuit and lodged in her arm. Following this she suffered a severe psychotic break, resulting in the events leading up to her capture six days later.

Through the actions of Observadora López, our Gen’an allies, and several other outcast ships, Señora Pérez was brought back home for treatment. We are unsure if she can be cured of her ailment, but we will do our utmost to cure her.

Moving Forward
These events have put into shocking relief the risks associated with our experimental projects on Corsica. While we believe these are key to the future of all Maltese, we recognize the risk such events place on the entire Corsica complex. We cannot allow our pursuit of the future to endanger the present. With the loss of Director Pérez the project finds itself without senior leadership as well, Cortés is a skilled scientist but he lacks the administration experience to handle the entire project, nor would his skills be well utilized in such a role. To that end I have volunteered to take over control of our engineering division.

As my first act I have ordered the repair of damage caused to Corsica, and the construction of a new set of engineering labs on Alba Station. All of our experimental engineering projects will henceforth be carried out there, safely away from Corsica. The labs are being included in a general refit of the station, which will hopefully conclude in the next few months.

My new duties preclude me from continuing to serve in the Comandantes Alpha, so it is with great regret that I resign my position as Alpha Conqueror. I have faith that our Alphas will continue to lead the Malta Hyperspace Starfleet with great skill, and bring a brighter future for all Malta. I look forward to continuing to participate in our great work from my new position on Alba.

In a joint effort of several of my brethren, we just came back from a successful Cardamine operation in Liberty. A couple of Asesinos helped me on the way and also our enigmatic pilot, Matador. Regarding the other parties, there was an independent Outcast with the succinct name of Mercantile-2 and a numerous group of Maltese with the designation “MA|”. My apologies to Alpha Command, we did not have the time to present ourselves and I did not make the necessary evaluations regarding this new organization; I should be careful next time and I hope that this will not be a cause for punishment to me.

Throughout the trip, we passed the Taus, Coronado and Cortez; we did not encounter problems at that time. A situation emerged during our arrival in New York system, though; as several Liberty patrols ambushed us, but we were prepared as our brethren launched themselves into the fight. Still, thanks to the courage of our pilots, we managed to solidify our position and deliver the goods towards the most relevant points of Liberty indicated by our bosses. A lane hacker named Cryptonic followed us during the way, but he did not reach us during our most important delivery points.

In order to make the complete trade route, we picked up forced labor in Buffalo base and returned to our homeworld. We managed to rendezvous with the other fighters that served as diversion in the designated escape point. Unfortunately, Matador remained behind as we completely lost his signal; I hope that he will fine, after all he is an Outcast as us.

The return trip was uneventful until our entrance on Tau-23, as we caught a BMF trader, named as Bellepheron, carrying Niobium Ore. The captain in question did not stand a chance to escape and he accepted our demands, as we took 8 million credits from him. Lastly, our arrival at Malta was a peaceful one and I already made the arrangements in the spaceport to send the slaves to their appropriate works.

My current report will be less exciting and action-packed, but I will have more to say about the future of our Outcasts. Months ago, it was possible to develop a Cardamine plant that, thanks to its genetically modified structure, is substantially more resistant to environmental influences. What is more, by increasing the stability of the cardamine molecular structure and using new production methods, we have created a safer, more effective and more sustainable Cardamine in the long term. You can already read our references for the laboratory experiments on Galicia.

Then our research group moved on. The human experimental results are still being processed in the Galician laboratories, which we will report on in detail in our next article. In Omicron Alpha is a desert Planet called Albegna. Scattered on its surface are a few underground facilities, which were built mainly for mining purposes. During the past months, with the help of many hardworking Slaves, we renovated a base which we named „Sirocco”. The substantial part of the facility operates below the surface. A multi-level, underground terrace facility, which is located on the side of a deep tectonic trench, thus allowing for large expansion in the future. In the first round, the base created conditions suitable for the cultivation of new Cardamine plants. Underground fields that act as a kind of biodome, thereby ensuring part of the facility's sustainability system. Sirocco is a special facility for the processing of Cardamine. Only a small amount of the inhalation form is made here. 90% of the production is made in crystal form. The production of Crystal Cardamine was one of the major goals of the project. The research processing of the crystal Cardamine takes place here in the laboratories installed at the Sirocco base.

Let's talk about the people living on the base. The core of the base is made up of the colleagues who work in the laboratory and lead the research, and the security guards. This is followed by the group who came to us as slaves. They get special treatment here. Although their range of motion is reduced to the area of the Sirocco base, they enjoy complete freedom here. They work, produce, and at the same time learn the characteristics of Outcast social life. A psychological experiment supplemented with the substance of Crystal Cardamine. The purpose of the experiment is to examine the biological effects and genetic changes. Cardamine tolerance and dependence are investigated, as well as its bio-psycho-social characteristics in the life of the Cardamine-induced and educated community. The aim of the experiments in the community is to create an Outcast generation at the end of our procedure. In our opinion, the second-generation inhabitants of the base will already have 100% Outcast genetic characteristics, because the current results of Crystal Cardamine also promise high hopes.

In addition to community research, we are also individually researching with great effort whether crystal cardamine or the new genetically modified Cardamine Plant has a characteristic of an active ingredient that reduces infertility in vivo or through heredity in the next Outcast generation. A more secure future with the help of new cardamine plants leads to conclusion that terraforming the planet and creating a suitable environment is essential for future generations of Outcasts on Planet Albegna.

Our base, built in a wide orbit around the planet, would be a suitable place to sell Crystal Cardamine, to survey the customer market. In my opinion, there is promising potential in these orange crystals. But the work is hard on the planet and a little encouragement and help could be used down there. I miei amori, we are happy to accept anything valuable on the planet at the base. I leave the choice to you. However, more slaves and other human entity from Sirius would be useful.

What it could have been an uninteresting journey through the dangerous Omicrons, it escalated to an ominous but extravagant encounter that left more questions than answers.

As we got close to the Omicron Kappa jump hole, in Omicron Delta system; our sensors detected a single contact in the Tokelau Ice Cloud: Caliban. Before I could even try to interrogate the intentions of the pilot, we picked up several contacts circling around a single and shiny phenomenon; an anomaly in which light was emitted throughout the cloud but holding a gravitational field that could diminish our propulsion systems according to certain proximity.

An odd gathering was taking place at that moment. Additional to Caliban, there were a Technocracy of Auxo vessel, Starstream and Maltese brethren: a Maltese Acquisition capital vessel, the Hyperion and a couple of independent ones: Malta’s Spirit and Tomas Garcia. A Core-APM vessel, WV-Eden, joined us afterwards. At last, but not least, one additional particular ship of this reunion was the gunboat RV-Pennybrooke, who was later accompanied by a nomad specimen identified only as K'Halaesh. It is worth noticing that in no moment there was no confrontation at all, as everyone, including me, were more invested on the anomaly; even the nomad maintained a tranquil stance, even if its predisposition was a hostile one.

[+] Initial Encounter

I was assisted by El Cid during the scientific data procurement, as all sides discussed about the origins and purpose of the unknown stellar object. Afterwards, we concluded that an empiric test was required in other to understand the phenomenon that seemed harmless on first glance. As each one of our vessels got riskily close to the light, each one made a “jump” nearby. To be more precise, each ship was translocated instantly to a different area of the system; all of us made a travel back to the initial point. In our case, my vessel almost stumbled across planet Tuvalu; an event that could have been lethal if we would have not reacted quickly. A second try was made and those who jumped to it, returned from...Omicron Nu.

While most of our brethren felt no need to stay longer, my crew and I stayed a bit longer; not before the pilot of the Pennybrooke told us about her closeness with the nomad entity that was nearby her. She mentioned the appearance of a hybrid vessel, the ship LNS-Tundra and its crew that enlighten her to a path where she considered that “humanity cannot manage itself”. Before we could go deeper on her background, the Core vessel Eden appeared and the Pennybrooke vanished.

Another conversation erupted, as a newcomer arrived, the Auxo vessel Eidolon Wrath; presumably called by the Starstream to make a further analysis on the unknown at hand. Unexpectedly enough, Core and Auxo captains seemed to knew each other. An extended history involving betrayal and resolve was in front of me, as both sides showed their own reasons to hold mutual grudges. Auxo captain justified her actions; meanwhile the Core captain, allegedly disappointed by the current route of his organization, manifested his loyalty towards what he represents.

As I contemplated the situation, the remaining ships decided to make their own studies and travelled to the spatial rift…

They did not return.

Moreover, Pennybrooke returned and traversed it; an identical outcome occurred. I decided to do the same, but we remained in the same position: It was inert for us. As our unworthiness to the stellar object was evident, we decided to pull back and return for a deeper analysis on the matter.

Our scientists will be quite busy these days, as the fissure presents similar configuration to the jump holes but its size and diverse final destinations could be raising concerns on what this object could really entail.

It has been some time since my last transmission and not without reason, as my responsibilities as Don have put me on a tight schedule; taking care of my plantations and several projects on Corsica, with the rest of my Cartel, have led me to an unfeasible situation regarding our well-esteemed organization. The Orange Dream must never cease and transformations must be made, in order to secure the future of our Maltese brethren, through the combined force of the families reunited in this privileged group.

In order to maintain stability on this regard, it is my pleasure to announce that a new leadership will take care of Malta Hyperspace Starfleet, effective immediately. By the command of Don Alejandro Harabero, the organization will renovate itself; and I expect nothing but the best to the heir of our legacy. Many challenges come ahead for the Maltese and I believe that the Harabero Cartel will be crucial in times to come.

Regarding myself, as many other before, I will leave any sort of leadership role in this organization and become an advisor for those that need to know what needs to be done. I expect that the next generation of members will be up to the task, as failure is unacceptable. Our influence has been strengthened throughout the years, but there is still much to do: Research to be fulfilled and markets that need to be exploited further.

Ultimately, I have confidence that the Outcasts, as a whole, will be benefited by these changes and we will, eventually, reach the Dream that we always hope for, for the entire sector.

The spreading of our Orange Blessing across Sirius never ceases. Our enemies are many, however.

I have come across patrol on Omicron Alpha when I was contacted to help escort a convoy hauling Cardamine to the New York system. A dangerous endeavor. I escorted a Quatroce Cartel transport through the backways of Kusari space into Liberty.

From there we met up with a convoy of Pirate freighters also spreading our dream throughout the New York system, as well as a Lane Hacker. They appeared to be engaging three LPI fighters, however our combined might repelled their forces and drove them back to Manhattan, at the loss of one of our freighters. We ferried an approximate of 5000 units of Cardamine through our combined transports and freighters into the landing site.

A rogue cruiser showed up to compliment our efforts, and all went well. However, the police units returned in a large force, and our forces were repelled, not before the transports made it to safety, however.




These pirates have been very cooperative and helpful, perhaps we pursue further relations with them.

My cruiser was patrolling the Omicrons systems when I found the MNS Rio Grande. The vessel came along and we patrolled several systems along the outer Omicrons.

We came through the planet Knossos, which the Rio Grande had never visited before. They seemed quite amazed, surprising me due to the fact their ship had been in service for nearly nineteen years. We came through the ruins of the planet and crossed through to Omicron Xi.

From there we found a freelancer, who ran off. The Order starting bringing warships in an attempt to fight us, and the Core joined in as well. Together, we disabled two battleships and one of the two fighters. The other one retreated. We returned to Omicron Beta, and from there, Omicron Alpha.

I'm hereby transmitting this report of the Precision Strike Operation initiated on 10.03.2023 14:30:00 SMT. Apologies for the delay, allow me to explain.

As per reports from our long range reconnaissance squads about a Corsair presence consisting of three Capital Vessels in Omicron Xi, all by themselves in a vulnerable spot, we were dispatched from Planet Malta to take advantage of the situation while we still had the element of surprise. Our strike force consisted of 'HS>Apocalisse' - D5-2A "Ranseur" Class Dreadnought, 'HS>Tarxien' - "Hasta" Class Battlecruiser and 'HS>Dominadora' - RM-2A "Storta" Class Destroyer commanded by me.
With series IV Jump Drive on board 'HS>Tarxien', we proceeded with hyperspace jump straight to Omicron Xi.

After a brief search we located two "Murmillo" Class Battleships and one "Praefect" Class Cruiser in Sector 'C-4' near Syros Shipyard in Omicron Xi, tagged 'DTR-CNS>Medusa', 'DTR-CNS>Vengeance' and 'DTR-CNS>BlasDeLezo' respectively. We attacked as soon as we could before they had any chance of calling more reinforcements.

They were quite possibly caught off guard and relied heavily on defense platform arrays. 'HS>Apocallisse' tanked most of the fire and we successfully disabled 'DTR-CNS>Vengeance'. As we proceeded to move towards the other two capital ships, we were attacked by a "Legate" Class Dreadnought tagged 'Leonidas.de.Colossus'. We focused fire and took it down, but 'HS>Apocallisse' and 'HS>Tarxien' had sustained considerable damage.

We continued to engage the rest of the capital vessels and managed to isolate 'DTR-CNS>Medusa' as 'DTR-CNS>BlasDeLezo' attempted to retreat. Since we quite literally had the Murmillo cornered, 'HS>Apocallisse' stood down to commence on-board repairs in case more enemy reinforcements show up. During the battle we sustained sudden engine failure which brought us dangerously close to the battleship. Whilst my technicians were recalibrating the engine, we attempted to fight back with all the reserve power we had. We took a few direct hits from DTR-CNS>Medusa's "Volee"Cannons. The shots caused an explosion in the command deck which injured me and 4 other crew members. Thanks to a well-timed missile shot from HS>Tarxien, the Murmillo was taken down.

I noticed that I was bleeding from my nose and I knew that the explosion had taken a toll on me but the battle was not over. I gathered all the strength I had left, extinguished the fire and attempted to track down DTR-CNS>BlasDeLezo, which led us to another "Legate" Class Dreadnought tagged 'DTR-CNS>Naxos' and "Praefect" Class Cruiser tagged 'DTR-CNS>Cimitarra' which were backed by a heavy array of defense platforms. Since all three of our ships had sustained quite a bit of damage we were't sure if we would be able to fight them off.

Thankfully 'HS>Destino-Final' - "Hasta" Class Battlecruiser, 'HS>Abraxis' and 'HS>Leone' - Two RM-2A "Storta" Class Destroyers arrived just on time. We were able to eliminate 'DTR-CNS>Naxos' and 'DTR-CNS>BlasDeLezo' despite the heavy fire from weapons platforms. 'DTR-CNS>Cimitarra' attempted to flee the battle but was tracked down and destroyed by HS>Leone.

A single bomber tagged 'DTR-Bombo.Ferrangali' engaged us with torpedo fire and cruise disrupters. I'm not sure what the pilot was thinking but we were able to critically damage his vessel, which urged him to retreat. It wasn't worth the effort follow and kill this annoyance and hence we decided to set course back to Omicron Alpha.

As the hyperspace drives were charging, I collapsed. My eyes opened at the medical bay on Corsica Shipyard, Omicron Alpha. It seems I have sustained a serious concussion which knocked me out for 2 days. Thanks to the expertise of the Doctors on board my ship and Corsica, my condition was stabilized. I am sending this report from the medical bay as me and my crew who suffered burn injuries are being treated here. The Dominadora is undergoing repairs. It seems I'll be out of action for a few days.

I'm attaching the audio log and gun cam footage below. A total of 6 Corsair Capital Ships had been destroyed, which included 2 Legates, 2 Murmillos and 2 Praefects. It's double the number we expected to take down and we did that with zero losses. The Precision strike was a success.

As I have been placed in command of our Maltese Starfleet, there have been some... changes I must address.

With the earlier retirement of Eduardo Montalban, as well as the power shift of Audaz Alarcon, as well as Professor Petra Ferrari primarily to focus within Sirocco and Alba base, the Comandantes Alpha has required a new board to oversee the Starfleet. There have been several members who have put themselves forward to leadership roles, employing responsibility and doing many great deeds toward our Orange Dream. Two members have been long standing front runners, and are to take on the place of Eduardo Montalban and Professor Petra Ferrari.

Alessio Bianchi has done exceptional work in the field, revealing signs of leadership and directoral prowess in the field. As well, his combat abilities and strategic abilities surpass others, leading us to place him as my Right Hand Man, or second in command, as Alpha Conqueror.

Marco Morales has also shown prowess and ability, demonstrating abilities to expand and enhance our operations, leading to success in our endeavors as well as destruction to our enemies. He will take the place of Third in command, as Alpha Director.

May this bring success upon our Orange Dream, and fear upon our enemies, for the expansion and domination of Maltese society across Sirius.
