Jinx , I though that the little thing in the center of the large engine was going to be used for the actual engine.
Anyway , I'm only happy that I have access to one of these , would have taken a huge chunk of my free time to buy one just for me , not to mention that I can't actually part with my Osiris.
Good work , mate. I'm sure this is going to make a lot of people proud to be Outcasts.

haha - if that little thing in the center is the actual engine it looks like the silly "bat-mobile" in one of the ancient movies... where its just a care with some sort of a candlestick in its rear.

when its such a massive engine, it should have some effect that works with it. - or you get something like the zoner juggernaut. - the flame is on the very edge of being laughably tiny for the ship. ( i might change it to the liner effect )

but i d not recommend to only use the center tube - i believe it would ruin the model by making it appear like a massive ship that the outcasts just forgot to attach an appropriate engine to. - like a HUGE catapult... pulled by a goat.

For the record, I'm having a custom engine effect done, assuming Chris is up for the job. We're going to take the Liberty Dreadnought pulse effect and upscale and recolor it a blood red (you know, x-radiation and all).

I'm not sure if I'm going to change the windows or not. I COULD inset them, but it's such a pain the the arse to do it. I'm considering replacing them with the paired windows to increase scale, I dunno, I think it just looses some of its sleekness if you double up the windows. We'll see once I have it in-game, once it's under the appropriate lighting we'll see how the texture looks and I can make any changes I need to.

Size chart. It should also be noted that there are some bit continuity issues with the size of some of the ships. Say, the Battleship. Which is not my fault. -.-

eppy. as i said, pretty as hell. you done a great job with the texturing, i see no screwed up faces in the pictures. now, i actually dont mind the veng getting that as a replacement model anymore cuz its so damn sexy:laugh:

theres a tutorial to do hitboxes, use that too!:P

This design is brilliant! Good work. I have never really liked the design of the Outcast BS but this one looks real nice!

Agreed. The Zoner juggy is awesome, but it's comical. I hate to see this 'HURF DURF TINY FIRE" piffing out of a little engine...
