Elders, this is my report on the investigation into the incident between Eagle One, and Ivan and Sonja Voronov. Ivan Voronov, is a Centurion of The Brotherhood, Eagle One was given a legitimate order to dis-engage by a senior officer of the Brotherhood, he choose to disobey this order, and commit the crime of insubordination, a crime which by the way, carries a penalty of death, so this pilot is fairly lucky he is alive. This determination I have come to in my investigation of the incident, and is the my report to the Elders of The Brotherhood, and you Carlos Benitez Don of Familia Benitez.

On a personal note, Carlos, I don't think you would be to please is it was Brother Zavier who order a ship to dis-engage just to be ignored and laughed at by some insolent young pilot, and just as you advise Ivan to watch his position and look at yours as an Elder when speaking to you, I would say your pilot in this incident should have followed the advise you give Ivan, if he had, none of this would be happening. As to your questioning of Ivan's loyalties, I am quite personally offended by this, Ivan and I have flown together more times then I could possibly count, and he has saved my life more often then I care to remember, and as I recall Carlos, Ivan was the one to come to your aid when you picked up that nickname of yours. Also, I would like to point out that, again, on a personal level, I am offended by the suggestion of such great loyalty you have to the Brotherhood, when it was Your Familia hermano that choose to leave Gamma for Yaren when you were denied equal representation on the council, a flight that many think, correctly or not, was meant to make a statement, and many believe, again correctly or not, that the following attack by the Nova's was ignored by your Familia. So before you go questioning peoples loyalty around here, make sure your Familia doesn't have incidents in it's past that might lead people to the same conclusion about you.

After some personal talks and chatter in the bar with some of those I see as my hermanos I officially want to state my neutrality in this conflict, thought I want to add my view as well. Centurion Skyelius stated some very good points. We are here to defend our land, not to destroy it with our own wars against other Corsairs. Our real target are the Outcasts, all their worshippers and those houses who won't tolerate our presence. It's indeed an outrage such conflicts rise by a minor incident which could be solved by those who caused the incident. But no, it has to come this far that two of the major Corsair forces fight again!
I have said enough for the moment, I hope you return the old unity without force again.

Effective immediately, I will be temporarily taking my leave of the familia, leaving Praetor Zavier in command.
GCSE's have finaly arrived, and I have just left school for "study leave" - even though I have exams every day, hardly "leave" atall.
For the next 4-6 weeks I will, naturally be spending my time on revision. Whilst I could continue to apprise myself of clan affairs, doing so costs significant ammounts of time, and I don't want these concerns to be on my mind when sitting in exam rooms.
For the sake of my sanity, I would request that Elder Jose keep a detailed but concise "log/diary" of clan affairs, to present to me on my return, to get me up to speed.

Senors, I believe the time has come to map the extent of our influence and empire of piracy, so that we may better co-ordinate our future operations.
To that end, my operatives have recently been tasked with traversing the borders of our territories to allow a map to be produced.
The map, curtessy of the Cretian Cartography Department, is shown below.

The red area represents the Corsair zone of influence, within which Corsair patrols and raiding parties are commonplace.
The yellow area represents the zone in which our strategists believe it is reasonable to dispatch Dreadnoughts, Battleships and Cruisers, under normal circumstances. To travel beyond this zone would apparently require additional fuel reserves that can only be made available if it is a ratified Corsair operation (invasion, etc.).
This area includes Gamma, the Gamma loop, Theta, Omega-41, Omega-5 and nearby Omega systems, Kappa, Delta, Iota, Minor.
It is my intention that the Benitez familia use this map and the guidelines therein to ensure our operations are both significant, successful and sustainable.
Other Corsair peoples are welcome to use this map if they so wish.
If any omissions or mistakes are present on this map, please contact me.

Well amigos...it's been a tough night. One of my men was shot down by the SCRA. Apparently those lads down at the Cretan Cartography Department made a mistake, and implied the Corsairs had jurisdiction within the SCRA guard system.
The situation was dealt with, and the non-aggression pact still stands, although I regret that this whole situation nearly cost the life of one of our own. The SCRA have said that they will re-imburse the victim of their unprovoked attack, paying for his new ship and health care while he recovers. Of course, an apology is always too much to ask from the SCRA, but war has been prevented.

Source: Benitez Fighter Helius, M10.5 Custom Titan, en route to Crete from Theta.
Today, I dispatched the Benitez Logistix Transport, 2 bombers and my fighter to intercept a GMG convoy headed to Corfu.
As we approached Sigma 17, there was still no sign of the convoy. We jumped through to Sigma 17, and still no sign.
We then recieved word that the GMG had somehow slipped past us while in the jumphole.
We doubled back, and saw them cruising towards Corfu. Luckely, it seems radiation problems had caused an engine malfunction and they where temporarily halted.
We exploited the opportunity to catch them, and I engaged the escort as the bombers and Logistix vessel engaged their transport. Our intention was to cripple the transport and then steal it's cargo, but unfortunately one of our torpedos impacted a H-Fuel storage canister and caused a chain reaction that destroyed the vessel. The resulting explosion destroyed almost all the fuel.
Our Logistix vessel beamed in what little H-fuel had survived the blast, and we diverted attention toward disabling the escort.
When scans confirmed the escort had no cargo or strategic value, we determined that it would be more prudent to allow it to escape and inform the Zoners and the rest of the GMG corporation that the convoy had failed to reach it's destination.
The hope is, they will send another convoy soon, and although it is likely to be more heavily guarded, we should be poised to attack and capture the fuel.
It seems that the miners have gotten a contract with the Zoners on Corfu to supply them with fuel for their growing fleets. Not only do we require fuel for our own warships, I believe it is of strategic importance that we do what we can to impede the Zoner military buildup and thus ensure future safety for the Cretian people.
Today was not an overwhelming success, but I believe future raids on GMG shipments into Theta will be of great benefit to the nation.

//occ Ok what is up in Gamma? My Smuggler bring's in 4700 ton's of food for crete,and corsair's fire on me,and demand a TAX. I bring in food for RP,as i make almost nothing on it(less then 500k) and 2 guy's with {LT} tag's and an indie named ROCKY demand a tax and fire on me.
PLS respond, as i thought corsair's wanted food. I can do other route's, but i liked the corsair's RP. This is not RP, and this will turn away food shipment's.
