So, no one else has an opinion about Fixing GMG = Fixing mining mod?

Just a quick thing...It'd also give official factions a means to facilitate in-RP embargoes instead of just posting it on the forums and having people who don't read the boards go "lolwhut embargo?"

Fixing the GMG alone won't fix the mining mod entirely. It's an important step, but there's more that needs to be done, involving ore prices and field placement.

there is little to no RP when ppl are mining
and the mining trade route is alittle to high income

People are not computers. Besides, not every noob knows about Freelancer Companion, but we tend to share good routes.

It's early, I wrote 3 MDs, I gave out Kudos, I took part in 4 raids, then someone turned off mining, I can't be bothered to read all the jazz here, so I just vote "turn it back on", then I stfu and go write a watering hole post so I can call it a day and go back to RP and explosions later.

Quote:Why is there a hurry to get so many credits rigth now?

Because I juggle my time between school, trying to find a job now that the family has been layed off, helping out with the RM, and a little time to myself when the work is done.

I tend to die alot in PvP fights so bots, bats, and 500k worth of nukes is a must for each time I splode (which is a lot of times.) Maybe I also have a new RP idea that would go very well with an outcast cruiser? Well.. that is a lot of grinding (see paragraph A.)

That's not to say I'm greedy or anything. On the contrary, I love to stop and smell the roses while mining/trading, RP with people I pass by, stop and have a chat with local law enforcement. It just comes down to the fact that I need cash to sustain my activities on this server and not a lot of time to get it in.

Quote:I can't believe you complain because they turned off Ore mining

Mining helps me deal with the grind. Trading gets dull and boring on its own, so does mining. Mixing things up a bit is nice and keeps it fresh. I could pirate for cash, but that's a whole other can of worms. Insted, I pirate people for their socks. Sadly, socks dont bring home the bacon; so its trading or mining. I would much rather it be trading or mining then just trading.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Mollys will win over Dublin for sure! Now there is no point for BMM to operate... So baffers should get lost too!

Now serious - why turn it off?! Just lower theprices of ores.
