Blood Money Bar and Medical Clinic - Dusty Lens - 09-24-2011 The loud man from wherever had sounded off in spectacular fashion and then, seemingly, fallen into a deep sleep. There were many places to fall asleep in Sirius. Some more mundane than others. Your own bed at home, hopefully cozy as could be and replete with some truly fantastic sheets and blankets is an ideal destination for a good evenings rest. Uninterrupted and unmolested. The same could not be said of the Blood Money. Copper strode into the Money with a coil of gaily colored light afixed to cord around his shoulder, razor in one hand and battery in the other. The loud gent, contentedly playing at death, was none the wiser to the sudden and doubtless unsolicited removal of any and all facial hair, including that atop his crown, nor every stitch of clothing save that one crucial bit restraining his bit o' modesty from dragging its sweaty self across a perfectly good chair. Then he was hog tied with christmas lights and shoved into the corner. The lights were very pretty. Ho. Ho. Ho. Blood Money Bar and Medical Clinic - RAL - 09-25-2011 Blaze entered the bar looking around. This was the place that he was told to go... He looked over the message, they had misinterpreted what he mentioned about the communication channel. But it made no difference, he walked in and sat down at the bar. Keeping a eye open for something to happen. Blood Money Bar and Medical Clinic - Ryummel - 09-25-2011 Steve sneaked into the Blood Money after two (or three?) long months unable to enjoy the endless stream of alcohol and the general smell of blood and derivatives. If he heard correctly from the last conversation he had with Silver while dodging the gas pockets of Sigma 13, the doors of the Armstrong would be open for him even if he left the company without saying 'goodbye'. So this was the perfect chance to give the formal resignation and a decent... apology? Steve thought it would be nice to bring a couple of gifts for his two favorite Reaver operatives: Silver and Amethyst, of course. Kaaall? Jaaaaina? Blood Money Bar and Medical Clinic - Silver - 09-25-2011 The woman, using a long old t-shirt with the Jack Daniels logo stamped on it, entered the bar. Her eyes looked around, and all they met was the same old thing. Except the one man that the security logged as one Blaze Aurum. And Steve. That fracker really came. But business was first to deal with. She nodded at Steve and gave him a hand sign towards the one name Blaze, that meant "business". Revolver. Blaze Aurum. The names that Copper talked about when they were discussing business by the comms. She walked to him and sat next to him. With a cigar in her lips, she nodded to O'Reilly, who promptly placed a bottle of Jack in her front and a couple of glasses. While 'Revolver' watched that weird woman pouring whisky on two glasses, the silence was the rule. Even in the middle of all that noise that the Blood Money usually is. "So. Blaze Aurum."
She gulped her glass in one go. "Let's talk."
Before his hand could reach the other glass, Kalliste quickly grabbed it and looked at Blaze like he was trying to get something that was hers. "You get your own glass. These two are mine, rook."
And down it went another glass of Jack. Blood Money Bar and Medical Clinic - RAL - 09-25-2011 Blaze smiled a bit awkwardly. Thats fine. Its not like I ever leave my ship sober anyways. Blaze leaned back slightly, looking around. So... I'm guessing your Kalliste right? Blaze smiled slyly. I've heard of your exploits. He looked at the woman, and then the bartender. Can I get the strongest thing you got? I wouldn't want to sober up during this conversation. He laughed Blood Money Bar and Medical Clinic - Silver - 09-25-2011 She nodded to O'Reilly, and the man started to mix a Dead Man Walking. While she sipped the remaining contents of her glass, she looked at the newcomer and replied with a smirk. "Your funeral. Save some of that 100'er JD for me, O'Reilly."
The bartender nodded furiously, as he donned the gloves to get the Anti-Matter Cannon oil. "So. Why you want in? And what's the real reason."
Kalliste poured some more in one of her glasses and continued to drink. "And on a side note. You try bullfracking us.. I'll show you what happens when we decide to play with snakes and engine grease."
Her grin was evident, but it definitively meant that his life was in her hands now. And that in the modern Sirius, is the worse place to be. In Silver's hands. Blood Money Bar and Medical Clinic - RAL - 09-25-2011 Blaze watched the bartender mix the drink. Anti-Matter Cannon Oil?? He looked slightly worried. "I guess there is a first for everything." Blaze looked at Kalliste who had just asked him a question. "Reason? Well, I'm a man of simple tastes. Women, booze, and lots of guns and pointy things. I guess it all just boils down to credits. Being a independent contractor, I will never come close to making the amount of credits your company makes in a day. I guess I want a taste of that for a change." Blaze looked again at the bartender mixing the drink. "I kinda want to taste that as well." Blaze pointed to the drink being mixed, with a slightly worried look. Blaze listened as the woman warned him about betrayal, snakes, and engine grease. He nodded to the woman. "Of course" Blood Money Bar and Medical Clinic - Silver - 09-25-2011 Kalliste looked at the man, and frowned. "Alright. You're game."
She gulped the remaining content of the glass and pulled out a data-pad. "You'll have to get a couple of ships. A bomber and a fighter at least. I'll tell the chief to give you access to 8 Gaian Shooter's and 6 Tizzies."
Kalliste started to write something in the data-pad. "Granted yer codename access to the MercNet contracts. Contract #1 to #4 are the ones that you can hunt upon.
You also will have access to an encrypted channel where you have to display your kills and where are the regulations for the rooks are. Simple and easy." She stopped her hands, and looked at the man. Her eyes were serious. "Any attempt on fracking us is impossible. All the data that is sensitive is way out of your reach. You won't have access to any other contracts, or tech. That is.. Until you get your color.
Welcome to the Reaver Trainee Program.. Rook." She propped herself off the chair, placing the data-pad in her jacket and grabbed the bottle and the two glasses. "By the way. Your name now is Sina.Reaver. Follow the rules.. And you won't get dead."
Kalliste laughed and headed over to Steve's booth. She sat and poured some Jack into the two glasses, then sliding one to Steve. "So, what's up, Steve? Need a place to cool yer heels off?"
Blood Money Bar and Medical Clinic - Ryummel - 09-25-2011 Speaking of heels, seems you liked mine enough to copycat them, heh? I'm talking about the Odin, of course. He smirked vaguely and took a deep gulp of his glass, shortly after feeling the heat down his throat -courtesy of Jack Daniel's-. Anyway. I don't wanna end up kissing the floor yet, since I got some stuff you could find bit interesting. He took a small datapad from the inside pocket of his coat laying next to him and placed it in the middle of the table. I've seen the Congress going a bit mad at you, mad enough to want all of you in a body bag. Buuut, you remember that little brawl we had weeks ago against that other group in Magellan? Steelworkers was the name of these Junkers? Well, a couple of days ago I stumbled upon two of their trains in the Sigmas. Aye, I'm also claiming for that board, so I chased them through four damn systems 'till I got them with the help of another lass. He tapped the datapad, immediately showing this and this. Blood Money Bar and Medical Clinic - Silver - 09-25-2011 She sipped her glass of Jack, while Steve talked. Good to know that he was still out there. He was a good hunter to have at one's side. "Ohoh. Don't deal me that Odin schmeeze. I won it fair and square. 288 mio's worth of death to prove it."
One of the waitresses arrived with half a bottle of 100 year old Jack Daniels. Immediatly, Kalliste gulped the remaining of her glass and placed the gold like liquid in both glasses again. The burn, the taste, the smell it was pure heaven. Smooth beyond belief and hellfire on it's own right. Although the sight of those two pictures did lighten up her day. "My my my.. Steve you naughty boy. I see you met Alexandra already."
She looked closely at the images. "Timestamped, Hudson, hmmm hmmm, lot's of carda."
Kalliste sipped some more whisky. And looked at Steve. "So.. You lookin' to make business?"
