/thread.

A "No" from me. Pirates are part of RP in Sirius. It would be too boring to encounter NPC pirates only. I think it is quite illogical if no pirates would exist. There are a lot of poor people in Sirius. What do you think how they can earn their money?

Dont bother with it, they are just using that "pirates are not supposed to be nice" as an excuse to be rude and demand outrageous sums of money, they know very well that nobody would criticize it if they chose to play Robin hood and not some street mugger.

Here, learn something

Pirate ID's ARE abused, to fit closely to the roll of a terrorist, which is NOT their intended use.

Just look at the one thread from that one guy asking about if he can put a trader at 5% health before issuing a demand a couple pages back...

I'm keeping all of my pirating secrets to myself. (bandit)

I have been seeing a few players being sanctioned due to some arrogant traders running when told to stop, and then shot for running.

A prime example (and this is purely my own personal opinion only) is this here sanction report Sanction Thread

This guy obviously found someone to pirate. Good for him. However it appears to me that this is just another case of a silent piratee, running and ignoring the pirater. And then when he dies, he complains, posts sanction report and some poor bugger gets nailed to a cross for doing what everyone else does: Shooting silent traders. And for the record, he made his demand. "Halt"

This post here, clearly explained by Blood, are the ins and outs of piracy. How can you make a demand when the ignorant sod just sails off and ignores you? You shoot the little prick, that's what. Otherwise they never learn, and you get these lolwuts ruining the point to piracy and thinking it is ok to do this crap.

If I pirate someone, they ignore me and carry on trying to run, then damn flippin' straight I'll vaporise the little sod. Crafty little bastards cry to the Admins, post biased reports and so a poor bugger get's nailed.

I think the proverbial crap has hit the fan, and there is too much leniency on lolwut traders, and too much heavy handedness on pirates. Not one pirate will just sit there and wait for a reply, especially if they are running.

What is the damn point?

I don't give a damn who this pisses off, as I felt the need to have my say as a player of all circles of rp in this game.

btw, Good post Blood! This clearly portrays the best way to deal with such mongrels and I reckon this should be a mandatory guideline!

It's simple. Basicly all the rp I used to do with pirates/MM~ in situations where I found that I won't be amused by the guys creativity. It looks like this from my side:

/2
/3 (sometimes)
