Sujet:Blood Dragons Sighted in Lyonnais

Bonsoir,

I come to you with some interesting news out of Lyonnais:

Three days ago, after concluding my patrol from Quillan to Roanne and then to Gleize, I came across a ship displaying Blood Dragons banners. This was of course alarming and I was ready to take the vessel apart by a few Saker blasts due this organization’s previous transgressions toward us and our assets. Said vessel belonged to a certain Sakurai Augus of the "Augus Clan".

I took the very first opportunity to let this Dragon know that the UC do not forget, at which point, she informed me that she comes in peace and has a proposal in mind. Against my better judgement, I decided to hear her out. To save you the trouble of narrating a long winded tale: this...Augus Clan would like to form a "partnership" of some sorts with us around the Kusari-Gallia border; from what I gather, intelligence in exchange for hardware. I'm not sure what the ulterior motive here is, but it's something that was worth bringing up to the attention of Senat.

The relevant portions of the recorded logs have been uploaded for your review:

Sujet: A series of interesting meetings

Bonsoir,

My oh my, has it been busy recently. In some patrols through the deeper taus- 23 and 37 in particular, I have come across a whole variety of miscreants trying to peddle the Maltese's filth into the houses. They were, of course, told of their mistake in this matter, and almost every one of them had the sense to drop their terrible cargo. I have, of course reporting all of this to the IMG and Crayterian bounty boards, and am looking forward to their response, knowing their distaste of the Maltese. Oh, and for the one Junker that refused to cooperate, they were put out of action, and the Coffre should receive a nice payout from our friends in the Hogosha.

On more... unusual news, I was contacted recently, by a membre of the Order Overwatch, to arrange a meeting within the edges of Kusari. I was a little surprised at first, to hear from them, but I was curious as to what they wanted, so I delayed my route to meet them in Nagano. As I approached the system, they said there would be a third party present- one that was also interested in making a deal with the Corse, so my curiosity was further piqued, but much to my dismay, the Order's friend turned out to be a Blood Dragon, of all things! I was quite dissapointed by this turn of events, but tried to keep an open mind to both their offers, despite the difficulty in listening to the Dragon.

The Order had several propositions to make it seems, although the meeting drew on so long I find it hard to remember exactly what they wanted, apart from help exporting their munitions to Gallia, with our and the Dragons help, and establishing a long-distance recon group of some sort, although I do not remember if they said where exactly, or who this group would be composed of.

And, of a final note, I ran into a membre of the Farmers Alliance on the way back home, who almost ran into our meeting but decided to fall back on the sight of The Order's quite... impressive firepower, most likely. I relayed to them some of the details of our meeting, as if we are lucky, they may be able to disrupt some of the Dragons activities...

Salut!

Mon ami, I have very good news to share with you all! While returning from Rheinland aboard the Affaire Lucrative, I made contact with a Gallic Metal Service capitaine. I had hoped merely to hire him for my own use, but alas fortune has blessed us all. We have been granted access to the Treyarch Research Facility over New Paris itself! I found it stock full of Aluminium Ore ready for export, and reasonably priced as well! All vessels of our organization are welcome there, so make sure to visit and thank our mining friends for their generosity!

Adieu!

Bonjour, mes ami. Alsin here, reporting in as requested by commandant Maxim, following today's unusual turn of events.

Where do I start? Well, I was minding my own business, taking the Epee v2 out for a spin down to Liberte with your average merchandise. Everything was going smoothly; After dropping off my cargo in the Pennsylvania system, I made my way out to Texas to collect some Nano-capacitors to haul up to Champagne, only to be stopped by a couple of strange Outcast signatures, using the (C~ identifier. Now, amusing as it was to run into sniffers in Liberte of all places, they were even flying what appeared to be civilian craft. In the end I paid them off with the intention of getting back home before fuel reserves ran dry.

That's the simple part, at any rate.... Then my day got weird.
Once I reached the Shikoku system, I was stopped again; This time by a Lane Hacker vessel, piloted by one
Mr Yoshida who, rather unexpectedly, decided to berate me with questions et then proceed to 'request' that we re-open communications with his organization. A most unexpected situation, though he did enlighten me as to the identity of the earlier mentioned pirates; Some group he called the Commune.
At any rate, I avoided giving accurate information to some of his inquiries, citing that I was headed for a civilian station in Lorraine and that I'd picked up my cargo from another transport, a friendly ship known as the Ventrice. Regardless, it was a most bothersome and time consuming interrorgation, though this
Mr Yoshida intentionally allowed me to pass in the end, deliberately pointing out how my funds et cargo were intact for the logs, as seen below.

Well, that concludes my report. Hopefully someone can make more sense of what happened than I do. Despite the run-in with those Commune ships however, the trip remained profitable.

Salut!

It has been a while, has it not? Alas, very little of interest has occurred until recently, and I only report on the most interesting of developments after all!

Speaking of which, the Tau-44 system has been quite the hub of activity recently it would seem! I was visiting Java Station when the Argenton radioed in about multiple unknowns detected in its system. I made haste and launched in my Jaguar Noir to search the system. I made it my first goal to make sure that no foreigners were attempting to make it deeper into our territory. Finding nothing I made sure all was well with the Argenton before checking the Crayter Republic installation over Borneo and moving on to the Tottori anomaly. And just in time! For I found a sniffer friend of a familiar variety passing through, which I halted immediately. He claimed to have picked up his hyrdocarbon cargo from a miner in the Tau-29 system, but I highly doubt this! I would have seen him in Tau-23, and his flight path did not indicate that he arrived from that direction either. Anyway, after interrogating him, laughing at his ignorance with respect to his own faction's history with sniffer products, and extracting a passage fee for his trespass that dirtied our tourists eyes with his presence, I let him depart. He made one last attempt at a specious joke, which I made sure to rebuff!

While this was one of the signals that had been reported, there were yet many more unaccounted for! So I went in search of them, only to find them very nearby indeed! Near what I had assumed was a wreck in the F-2 sector were an assortment of vessels from an assortment of parties. It is hard to describe in words, but I shall attach recovered guncam images so that you may see for yourselves. I will also provide a long, and quite possibly boring, transcript of events that were relevant as well.

In short, we had warships, Liberte fighters, and a host of others all in one place! I did pick up on a few things, though. First, the Libertonians were quite impressed with the aesthetically pleasing design and functionality of our ships, which I and Chloe were quite happy to show them. Second, it appears that at least one of those ugly modular facilities that hangs over Borneo now belong to these raiders, or Natio, as they like to call themselves. I'm not sure if Mademoiselle Durand was able to get any more information out of her request, but we'll see if anything turns up. It seems that they also have some history with the sniffers, at least if the Liberte operatives are to be believed. We should keep a close eye on their activities, especially with them being so near to our operations on the Argenton. I heard rumors from Chloe of possible deliveries to this Natio, so perhaps we will learn more of them this way? We shall see!

Regretfully any other opportunity to gather more information I would have learned was interrupted by the arrival of an Outcast, and he provoked the operatives into combat. I followed the engagement for my own amusement, and ultimately, well, you'll see if you take a look at the following.

Attachement: Guncams

Adieu!

Incoming Transmission

Unione Corse
Lieutenant Grayson Matthews

Bonjour.

I first would like to say that I'm glad to be back in the services of l'Unione, after a considerable absence. David required a bit of assistance after some issues with his, ehm, current place of residence. It took me considerably more time to return than I expected, but alas, I must attend to family matters first.

As for today, all I have to report is that our typical trade routes through both Kusari and upper Gallic-occupied Bretonia seem to be relatively quiet of late. It certainly pales in comparison to the sniffer-filled Taus of 822, but I will admit that these quiet lanes do wonderfully for acquiring francs.

Tribun La'Biere and myself spent a couple hours travelling through these sectors, carrying a bit of standard cargo as well as some ore from Gallia to the front. Again, relatively uneventful, but a good way to break in the sticks after my hiatus.

I look forward to working with you all once again.

Grayson, out.

Salut!

Mon ami! It with no small amount of regret that I tell you I am stepping down from active engagement within our organization, at least in the space borne sense. My lovely wife (seen with me here), has requested that spend more time running our operations at our estate where she resides, and who am I to tell her no? You are all welcome to visit us at any time, of course!

It has been my pleasure to work with each of you, friends new and old! I wish the best to all of you!

Adieu!

Sujet: A Union of Unions

Bonsoir,

I've just gotten back from a lovely trip to Rheinland with some Blue Diamonds, lovely things, where I had a nice chat with a pilot from the Unioners. Most of it was a lesson in Sirian Underworld Politics- interesting, but not what I'm calling in for today. During this chat, they mentioned a link between Rheinland and Gallia, hidden in the Zurich system, along with a staging point for trade between our two houses. And by trading, they mean smuggling. They claimed to be the top dog in Rheinland for moving goods away from the Police's eyes. The pilot laid claim to, and seemed quite possessive of the passage between Gallia and Rheinland, and said that we would be... "billed" for using it, if we don't make any arrangements, to which they seemed quite eager to make. Oh, and they mentioned being quite capable shipbuilders, which access to lots of military-grade Sirian scrap, which, well does sound a bit too Junker-y to me, but could be useful, if there's any sort of Sirian tech that we Gauls haven't perfected already.
