Hessian ships can no longer use the Tartarus pulse gun on 90%, they have 10% core again like it used to be in update 5. When you mount a Large Cloak and a Small cloak on a Yacht,you can't see the ship and you can't fire your weapons. However,others can see you and the shields are up. 4.86 update 6 bugs central thread - Switchback - 08-14-2012 Washington Shipyard does not have /pimpship 4.86 update 6 bugs central thread - jonfreelanc - 08-23-2012 not sure whether to report this or not don't know if the read first info applies because most docking moors worked for me. anyway kyushu and planet miura docking moor fixtures need to be moved in so you spawn in them or whatever it is as I get stuck behind them in a large transport. just them not many others though. others I can just fly through. not really a big deal though as those ships aren't big enough to hit the planet. again, I dunno if it is that way intentionally or if it is what is mentioned in the read first post. ames research station shipdealer has no trent npc. maybe this could be intentional? I doubt people see themselves as trent. iw05_01shipdealer.ini has no [CharacterPlacement] section in the ini file. 4.86 update 6 bugs central thread - jonfreelanc - 08-24-2012 the falcon has a problem with its shield not actually going down when it runs out of energy and goes down. it continues to take hits making the ship have unlimited hps. the thing that causes this seems to be actually the shield model bubble and has to do with the shield_link line in shiparch.ini shield_link = cv_fighter5_shield01, HpMount, HpShield01 this is the line falcon is using and there seems to be something with all the cv fighter shields. so far I have only tested cv_fighter5_shield01 and cv_fighter_shield01 (falcon and starblazer) I had this problem with a starblazer when I was still playing single player. I didn't report it because I thought it might have to do with that. but now I am on multiplayer and have the same problem with the falcon. when I changed cv_fighter_shield01 to l_fighter_shield01 and added a link to HpEngine01 making shield_link = l_fighter_shield01, HpMount, HpEngine01, HpShield01 (this is for the starblazer not the falcon) the ship worked fine. I did this just like the civilian shuttle that is made by jinx and it worked. the HpEngine01 link seems to improve collision detection from the sides and rear as opposed to when you have a line without it. collision detection when from the front seems most reliable. without adjustment, a few scattered hits will connect from the front on these bugged civilian ships I also tested this with other shields and certain shields that are known to work didn't work when used with different combinations of ships and it didn't make consistent sense. I made a post about in the general forum. dunno if this is just for npcs not for players but I wouldn't think so. 4.86 update 6 bugs central thread - Oyashio - 08-26-2012 Not sure has this mentioned before. If you try to talk with a NPC in the bar/restaurant (missions, bribes, information) you get kicked from the game.
