I will happily share the info once we decide exactly what were going to do. I've got a few pms from people warning me to be careful.
Once we have the money and logistics I plan on announcing us in a more official way.

Sure LNS is active, all they do is float around NY in their caps letting indy-LPI's enforce Liberty Law since they could care less if pirates blow up a trader right in front of them *scoffs*

I stand corrected. I got so caught up in defending myself I just went with it without thinking. The whole time I was getting bombarded by pms and Skype invites. Thanks, today has been very interesting, been getting several pms and just got a Skype. I meant 7 billion. Sorry for the confusion I wasn't trying to do anything but get information, it evolved from that. Regardless thanks. I noticed your in a revolutionary group for Liberty. If you wouldn't mind I would like to speak with you on Skype, we might have some common objectives.

Hello Lucas, welcome to Discovery! It's nice to see so many players joining our server, as you see that community is generally friendly, just like other places in the Internet.
If your group had problems with RM harassing your traders, that's probably because you broke inRP law about trading restrictions, or were breaking war embargo and traded with Liberty. What IDs you were using, what commodities you traded? I know Rheinland a bit, I could explain it to you and answer any questions you have.
You will get many offers from various factions to join them (shameless promotion: DHC is Rheinland mining and trading corporation with awesome RP background), but if you are almost sure you want to play in Gallia, Gallic Royal Navy definitely needs fresh blood.
Post in Help Requests subforum any questions you have, there are many players who'll gladly help you.

Hey guys and welcome to discovery.
I am sure you have learned by now that entering a new room it can be difficult to not step on someones toes.
Don't worry too much we all fumbled our way through our first months on this server.
Just take your time and have fun, it is after all why we are here and I look forward to seeing your group find their place here.
Like others have said Gallia and Kusari are both places that can use activity from fresh minds and will fit you nicely.
Kusari is not s complicated as others have made it sound and can be quite rewarding to get involved in.
I would echo Gallia as the best place for such an active group though as we could use a big evil empire to fight.

haha that is true. though they'd probably steamroll BAF so LN would have to go help more then.
If you do go gallia and GRN, once you get set up you could hold like a weekly GRN/allies vs BAF/LN/Allies RP pew battle in Leeds. Could encourage more people to make new characters and take part.
if that happened, i'd make a BAF Character and join in.

Sounds like a plan. Give us another week or two to get more organized. I also want to familiarize myself with all the house rules, and server rules.
I also want to hold a meeting with my clan to go over the rules, we also need a bit more money.
I'll be in contact with the GRN or we might make an Unnofical Faction allied with the Galic Royal Navy.
I'd love to talk with one of the Galic leaders on Skype.

So yeah, powergaming. That is, taking something he shouldn't have inRP at all and making a thing about it.
As long as those stay words inRP, it is all fine in my opinion. No powergaming occures if it turns out to be mere bluff. The moment he tries to realize his inRP claims without your consent, that will be the powergaming.
Actually what powergaming he did there was suggesting he can get into HC chambers this easily. He controlled the decisions and reactions of characters (the LN personnel) he has no right to control. And that was the powergaming in that story.

Albeit Raptor's tone can be viewed as a little bit hostile, in his comments he addressed most of the issues with the roleplay attempt you initiated with LN. In my book that counts as help, and if I'd be in the same position as you, trying to get familiar with a world I intend to dwell in later, I'd consider it as such.
On an other note, I am looking forward to see you guys on the GRN side. Cheers.
