RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - SnakeLancerHaven - 06-20-2014 Not bad at least something I wonder how the fighter will look like RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - Unlucky_Soul - 06-21-2014 Ai Carrier v2 http://p3d.in/nwuMF its slightly longer than the MAKO and much wider. Feedback would be appreciated RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - Mao - 06-21-2014 Where does it hold the drones? It's too skinny imo. BUT since AIs don't need to have their ships inside, in controlled atmosphere you could have a rail or something on the outside where the drones would attach. Now about the model itself: That huge wing is... not fitting too well. You got the same model of armor hull panel (?) repeated time and time again at different scales. The drones are inside the cylinders at the back. And yes i have the same model of the armor panels. I tried other shapes but wasn't fitting the AI look. Any suggestions you can give would be good P.s About the wing, will do something about it RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - Thyrzul - 06-21-2014 The armor panels are fine, those huge wings aren't. (Of course that doesn't mean you have to overuse the panels.) Also there are still overlapping faces on that reactor on the front, the one which was the central part of the previous version. You can see it from the flickery.

I have converted and imported the cmp file of the AI cruiser in the disco folder to obj and worked on it. Didn't touch it. The original model must have had overlapping faces or the conversion process did that. Will try to fix it though RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - Sath - 06-21-2014 That has got a more GB feeling to it. It would be better if it can be rescaled and made into AI gb. RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - Unlucky_Soul - 06-23-2014 Another one http://p3d.in/yWA2D RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - Mao - 06-23-2014 Now imagine that all that empty space is filled with blue jelly. What we get is a highly armored Nomad GB... a hybrid of some sort. I like it but not for an AI GB. RE: [Wanted] Modeller for AI Shipline - SnakeLancerHaven - 06-25-2014 Ok something is clearly wrong XD The AI Carrier which you propose dlooks like an AI Very Heavy Fighter and the AI GB looks more like an AI Interceptor clearly if we'd use those models for that, they'd fit perfect into the AI Snubline but not Cap Ship line. Honestly speaking AI Bomber: http://p3d.in/0e8IU AI Fighter (or this model might actually fit into an AI Gunboat too): http://p3d.in/nwuMF AI Interceptor or Fighter: http://p3d.in/yWA2D If you ask me, this one would fit into a AI Fighter http://p3d.in/yWA2D and this one into an AI Gunboat http://p3d.in/nwuMF but kinda without that HUGE WING in the middle it looks great for an AI Gunboat or AI Gunship. |
