al-Rashid reporting in.

I've taken care of my first assignment with all due haste and diligence. After travelling to the more dangerous reaches of the Omicrons, I was able to dispose of a small patrol of Nomad fighters and retrieve some remains from their floating hulks. The following attachment is evidence of the success of this retrieval operation. Infiltration and exfiltration proved difficult due to the heavy defenses surrounding system entrances and exits, and gunboat patrols complicated matters of survival even further. Luckily, I was able to escape with some nanobots to spare. I must admit, I felt quite exposed flying such a thinly-armored spacecraft in that space.

After this task was completed and I deposited the remains aboard a friendly installation. I returned to Omicron Rho, only to find that four Bundschuh snubcraft, specifically partisans from the Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee, had penetrated our perimeter. Upon interception of their flight, the group attempted to retreat back to Rheinland, but I was able to halt their movement in Luneburg through the use of my cruise disruptor. I was soon joined by fellow Core pilots, specifically Ivy Noire, Matt Bishop, and Agent Romanov. After a brief exchange of ultimately useless questioning, Bishop gave the order to engage the enemy. In the ensuing fight, Bishop downed one enemy Sabre, and I shot down one Cutlass. The third, a Kingfisher, collided with Bishop's Manta during the engagement, detonating nearby mines and resulting in the destruction of both craft. Bishop's pod was later retrieved after the fight. The last VWA craft retreated from the field of battle after being pursued by Noire and Romanov. Overall, the skirmish resulted in a clear victory for The Core. Attached is guncam evidence of my kill taken from Bishop's feed. Regretfully, my guncam had sustained damage during my prior assignment.

Attached below is a log of the event:

I hope that I can participate in contributing to future victories such as these.

al-Rashid signing off.

Gentlemen.

My solo expedition to Iota turned out rather well. I managed to return a bit of those ugly Nomad brains as well as a little piece of equipment from a wreck I found there. Not quite sure what it was, because it broke before I even managed to return it to Yaren. Oh well, happens.

So yeah. Here is the relevant evidence of this entire operation. I also encountered one guy in Iota, but considering he was flying a ship whose armor plating was considerably better than mine I gave up on trying to get him. The guy was called Stefan Mortensen. We exchanged a few words, nothing meaningful.

al-Rashid reporting in.

I've been making the usual patrols over the last few days, and I already have intelligence. Some of it was due to rather intrepid wandering, and other parts were more due to being in the right place at the right time.

I joined up with the Core battleship Apahanta for a routine patrol of Delta and Minor, and eventually ended up near the gate to Major that still haunted that system. When we arrived, we witnessed that massive apparition of an installation that was the Dyson Sphere, seemingly abandoned, save for the occasional flight of fighters. Inside was a Blood Dragon Katana, a Rheinland Military snubcraft, a Freelancer Marauder, and another craft with a malfunctioning IFF. Attached are the logs of the encounter, starting from the beginning of my patrol with the Apahanta. The Dragon seemed to posess great knowledge regarding the installation, and even went so far as to declare it as active once more. She had the gall to land on the surface and begin messing around with the structure. She offered several theories as to what it could be used for now. I chose not to engage the Dragon, given the sensitive situation.

It was at this point that Battlegroup Auxesia, specifically the Eidolon Wraith and a Switchblade fighter, emerged from the gate and entered the system. They stuck about for a while, and I took the opportunity to scan the battlecruiser. 1 2 3. Here are the logs of the encounter.

I soon left Omicron Major, returning to Yaren Base after that long patrol. I checked in with the Apahanta, and it seemed crew casualties had been taken care of. I retired to my quarters for the evening, and prepared for the next day's flight.

Continuing report.

My guncam malfunctioned on my Manta the next day, and as such, I was unable to retrieve pictures of the patrol. However, I encountered a fellow Core pilot named James Marion, and spent much of my patrol schedule with him. We ventured into Omicron-74, and found Battlegroup Auxesia, along with Sian Breacon, Wiegenlied, and the Dragon, Yuki. They were sitting idle by Freeport XV, and this time Raven was in a Sabre, flying alongside her companion Joshua Hunt, who was flying a snubcraft as well. The Danger Zone arrived later, and departed shortly after Marion and I did. Here is a log of the encounter.

Onboard computer difficulties made it difficult to retrieve logs and pictures of some of the next few events, but there was further conversation in Delta that ultimately led nowhere, combat with a Nomad fighter that threatened Breacon's craft, and patrols of the entire sector. I extended my usual patrol schedule to encompass certain Omega sectors, and observed Battlegroup Auxesia in orbit of Omega-49. They were conversing with some Gaians about their environmental message. I believe that the Battlegroup has decided to wander around the Edge Worlds for some indiscernable purpose. Reconaissance has revealed that they have merged with another group known as The Aegis Intiaitive. This move has undoubtedly caused their numbers to swell. I will continue observation of the group as time goes on, as they seem remarkably loose-lipped about their movements and operations.

At the closing of the day, a Crayterian pilot showed up in a Nyx in Omicron Delta. The pilot, a veteran of various wars, expressed interest in joining Core after I told her about our cause. Attached are logs of the incident.

I hope she considers our organization as one worthy of fighting for. Her combat experience and understanding of our goals and methods would make her a prime ally in future conflicts.

al-Rashid, signing off.

I report back with the mission at hand succesfully ended.

I moved to Omicron Iota to get the remains, passing Omicron Minor and Zeta. I had no problems until I entered Iota, where the Nomads unleashed hell upon me. I could get away from their wavelike attack, but after that couldnt find other Nomads.
So I decided to move deep into the asteroid field and after some time I happened to find something that reminded me of a trade line.
There were some kind of defensive platforms as well, but most important I found some Nomads worth the time.
After I got two of them I turned round and moved back to Yaren the way I came.

I am reporting back from the initiation mission which ended succesfully.

I moved to Omicron Iota as i needed and i don't need to wait much before Nomads showed up. It is my second encounter with them in my life and i can say that they are terrifying. Of course i don't let my fear control me and that is why i leaved the system alive. After that i headed back to Yaren base and handed the remains to the relevant person.

Kantos Kahn,

Fear is the mind killer. If you remain steadfast, you can overcome any foe, no matter how terrifying they may be. And seemingly, by seeing you've completed your Initiate Process you have done just that. Expect a promotion.

Paladin Hawken reporting in.

Report #001

I was on a patrol of Omicron Delta yesterday when I had stumbled upon a Corsair Battleship roaming around with Nomadic Materials in it's hold, being followed by PRIME AI Cruiser. Seeing the possibility to hit two birds with one stone, I called for support from the Core|WV-Athena and Guardian Ramirez. We took down the Battleship. Unfortunately the AI Cruiser fled. However at the end of the day we were still able to claim the prize of one Nomad Battleship-class material.

Report #002

Later that day we were graced by the presence of the Bundschuh as well as a pilot from the LWB in Omicron Rho. After a lengthy exchange of words, Guildkeeper Bishop decided that we should engage the hostiles before more arrive. With the assistance of a pilot from the MND, we took them all down.

Report #003

Today I took a brief patrol of the Omega systems. Upon flying through Omega-5, I stumbled upon a Reaper of Sirius in combat with two Coalition vessels. As it stands we are in the process of gaining the Reaper's favour, therefore I attacked the Coalition vessels in defense of it. Although I suffered many Ion Storm and cockpit issues, we were victorious.
