Payment has been sent. Sombra Hookier takes first place in a landslide, winning the twenty million bonus. Lee Kaplan narrowly takes second, winning the fifteen million bonus, but only because Triple Hazard Pay's shipment which would've put them over the edge and into second took place after payday. Regardless, THP gets the bonus for it now, since they filed it now. THP also gets a million credit bonus for saving the lives of the Bretonian personnel in Newcastle on the eleventh.
Finally, all contractors who shipped anything have been awarded an extra fifty thousand credits as our apologies for the change of schedule mid-cycle. Unless Kazuhiro Akahoshi posts a pay claim form within the next few hours, I believe that brings this pay cycle to a close. Next cycle ends on the 6th. I'd like to thank everyone for their hard work so far, and make vocal Detroit's wishes to see increased healthy competition in the future. I have made my first delivery of this pay cycle, 5000 pallets to Battleship Essex, proof here. You may notice that the two time stamps are relatively far apart. On my way out of the California system I was waylaid by a a Rogue flying a Scylla Class Destroyer. I ended up getting off pretty easy, he only asked for 1 million credits, but needless to say I was a little stressed after staring down the guns of a hostile destroyer. So I decided to take a mini vacation on Planet Curacao. This was the cause of the delay in delivery. If you are interested I attached the communication logs of my encounter here. This is the first time I have been pirated while hauling for you and it made me think, what should I do if a pirate demands my cargo. I know Detroit has a very strict policy of delivering light arms only to lawful customers, but if they demand it? I want to make sure that if the situation ever occurs I handle it properly.

While our own transports have been busy in the Omicrons as well, five shipments is a rather disappointingly low amount for the entire month, even taking the Omicron crisis into account. As such, we'd like to start a conversation with our shippers about potentially increasing payment or locations that are eligible for the two million credit bonus. Your thoughts on this will be sincerely considered for the pay cycle after this one, but we can't just change rewards mid-cycle.

So far I have been able to make two deliveries, one to Battleship Ark Royal and one to Kingston Border Station, 5000 units each, proof here. I have been having some issues with my comm system so that is why both of those deliveries are from earlier in the pay cycle, I apologize that I wasn't able to upload them sooner. As for your question about increasing rewards, I am always in favor of getting more money, but I am still shipping so I'm not the best one to ask about that, I obviously find the current bonus system sufficient. However I would suggest adding an additional pay-grade, currently you have under 6000 and over 6000. So once I've shipped 6000 units there is very little incentive for me to ship more, which is compounded by the lack of competition, I am guaranteed at least second place, so I don't have to compete for those bonuses. So I would say add a pay-grade for over say 20,000 units or even 30,000. And of course you should advertise this as much as possible to increase the number of contractors. Oh, and one other thing, currently the contractor is responsible for getting the proper licenses to ship arms, perhaps it would be more enticing if Detroit procured the proper licenses instead of us.
