it takes quite a while too kill a bomber without missle turrets, specially if theres rocks/asteroids around which the bomber could hide behind, therefore the quickest and most reliable way is too use the missles.

Two fighters: If you have decent to good piloting skills. Don't need to be fighter gods ('least so long as you're not facing a rather good GB pilot).
Lone bomber: Should work if you're a decent pilot.
Bomber + Fighter: Should work fairly well in any situation.
Two Bombers: Unless there's a large gap in skill, expect to win.
Just a note: The BHG GS is dangerous. Expect it to be more difficult to kill than usual, due to its small size and high agility.

I wonder how 4.85 balance will work around this... Gunboats really should be the ultimate Fighter killers, while sucking at everything else... But say if three bombers come in hungry for a kill, could one still kill all three?

I have killed a couple HAF gunboats, and a couple Liberty Gunboats with my Sabre, but Grimly is right ... In a sabre ...you can give it up trying to kill his gunboat haha.

ZOMG, HAF gunboats? Well all you realy need is some shield busters and a very nub gunboat captain.... After that it's easy as Pie... If those requirements are not met you are unable to do it.
