Well, all right. I suppose my beer hat will go elsewhere. Armaments completed, still carrying a few spare codenames though. Bought a couple of matched sets from that Kingpin bloke, and it appears that I didn't need em all. He's requested the ones I have left back though, looks like some KNF needs them, fine by me as long as he pays for it.
Say, is there a standard rate we extend to non-company transports? I had some inquiries, although no firm requests as of yet. I'll be moving up north, see what buisness I can stir up, as the Omegas are looking pretty quiet.

Just as I'm having a moan about the new kids on the block, I get a call from Izaak, fresh with his new
loadout, apparently thanks to some shady character. Kingpin, or some such ...
Anyways, seems he has got a troublesome Helghast in his sights. Fortunately Derek is close to hand, and
I still have JW's Raven keys. The Helghast calls in a couple of buddies, we have a call from a SF Destroyer
to find out if we need a hand, and off we go to turn Cambridge a little pyrotechnic.
Before I get there the big bad bomber boys manage to damage the SF ship, just as Izaak and Derek get
seriously stuck in. Izaak cops a call to disengage after doing some damage, and Sin|Tech gets a burst of
gunfire from the Helghast, oops, bad move. The third bad guy decides the action is probably not going to go
his way and drops out. Wise move in hindsight.
Derek and I then proceed to call a permanent halt to pirate activity in Cambridge. Both Thunderbolt and
Helghast La'Dement end up as trails of burning h-fuel across the system.
Sin|Tech's more than able assistance has repayed our faith in their company in the past. Think their usual
tolerant and neutral stance has just been pushed past breaking point.
So a great start to those boy's careers with IND. Maybe some of those pirates will be thinking twice before
tangling with traders in the future.

Helghast obviously have fluffy dice covering the rearview mirror I think ...
Back to business boys and girls. We know how to deal with these scum now. Please keep those Ravens in and
around Cambridge for a while. Sure we havn't seen the last of them.

I'd like to express my gratitude to SF 'Prinz Eugen' cruiser's crew and captain for pinning down the Helghast scum in Omega-5 for me to finish him after he tried to pirate Mr. Escobar's train. The second time they helped us by bringing the fatal blow to the Helghast gunboat that was after the Riviera Express in Cambridge, much appreciated that too. Fatality indeed, I say. Flawless victory.
I think we should send some of the better drinks their way.

Phantoms... boy they don't mess about, our convoy was on it's way to new Berlin moving Super Alloys from our contact on New Denver to Oder Shipyard (it seems RM needs more new ships and soon), anyway, we have 2 waypoints to go and get a message from a phantom terrorist demanding 100million. Well we could not pay and tried to make a run for it. Unfortunately one of the convoy was destroyed "peddler" was able to get to the escape pods along with just over half his crew (over 80 people lost), the convoy decided to recover the escape pods and dock at Planet New Berlin for repairs.
Some lawful ships did jump into the system, but it was too late to help us. Peddler will be shuttling home to New London and our dealer on Leeds tells me he'll have a new "Lifter" for Peddler by the end of the week. GEO is learning leaving Bertonian space is not as easy as we thought, still you have to wonder where the RM was?
GEO should be at full roster again soon.

Sorry to hear about that incident, Phantoms are one of those things beyond our control. Apologies, it would
appear after their earlier successes in Cambridge, the Epsilons were probably propping a bar up somewhere
spending their bonus money. I shall be havin' a word later ...
Currently they have been Bretonia based, as most of our problems have been occuring there. I'll shall talk to
Pat very soon to see what we can do about dispersal of pilots to other major conflict areas.
If you need any help with aid for the families of the lost crew members, please don't hesitate to contact me
again. Anybody who falls under our umbrella is part of our extended business relations.
As to the RM, not sure what is happening there. It would appear maybe some of the military are not paid
enough and are having to moonlight. Hope they sort the problem out soon, or it will become an untenable
trading destination. Pirates and Terrorists will always take the opportunity to attack undefended space.
I'm sure this will not happen again, as I shall be having a sharp word with old Admiral Kreig soon ...
Good to see Gateway expanding their borders, and getting stuck in, just hope we don't see a repeat of this.
