the hypernia dosent tell you ship about the box specs.
It has dual precessors at 3.4 ghz, 2gb ram, more then enought for Fl.
I say we at least try it. i wont mind it at all, and if you guys dont like it then someone else can host you.
We are running a Bf2, 2142, 1942, and css server off it, but they dont use much system resources, because theres never any players on them....

They are taken from the dedi box as of 5 mins ago, and theres no players on our server, and rarely is...

FL needs a dedicated machine to it.
IF we run a FLserver with the server on that condition, it will fill the RAM, and take all the CPU time for itself when more than 30 players are it.
FL server is resource hungry little proggie... All other servers on that computer will lag like hell once FLserver player count goes over 25-30.
EDIT: I'm talking with Igiss via mail. I just sent him a resume of the situation. He is ill. That is why you don't see him in often.

I say we give it a try, i just need to get Fl installed on the box then we try it and if we cant get it running, I can look at the other dedicated server HBf hads in mind and see if they would be ok to handle Fl, if not you can always buy your own dedicated box from our hoster and runn only Fl off it. but it will cost u 150 a month....

You're not winning favors here. IN fact, it was *I* who said this, and I know a hell of a lot more about servers than You do. Now I was under the impression that Hypernia servers were Linux based, as what you posted had predominantly linux binaries. Your screenies say it's windows, so I stand corrected.
I'm saying this as a friend. Learn when to control your words. You are LOSING respect of a lot of people by barking at them like you have been in the past few weeks.
And yes, what you say here reflects on you in BlackSquadron as well.

Hmm didn't see this post till today in the morning but couldn't reply till now. I have friend that owes me a few favors and he knows how to deal with this stuff. Maybe he can get something set up. However I won't be able to talk to him till Sunday because I'm a bit busy right now.
Before you ask IF he says yes the server would be in Dominican Republic. And right now don't know anything else my area of expertise arn't servers.

well i just got home and your temp server will be up in a few hours hopefully or may already be up just not under what anyone is looking for, im not running it right now so i cant say for sertin. il check it in a min so il get back to yall
