I just went through my screen shots (almost all show the chat log, but some were taken in space). I spotted Dha_Piruna[M] on my radar screen on five screen shots, taken about 10 minutes before the photo shoot officially started. I imagine that Dha_Piruna[M] was there for the actual photo shoot, so that makes 73 players.
I've got screen shots which show that some players were in New York (since they were chatting in New York system channel), but I don't have screen shots showing them in space. They include ~HM~Vengence~[H], =BSG=Miner-002, Highguard, [\JG/]-Dalilama, Thorn (probably a newbie who launched from Manhattan because he said "omg" then "All these people" and "/ping" -- a command that doesn't work on Disco), and Colonel_Zero (who said "beautiful ships guyz"). These six players may take the total to 79.
