They had good efficiency and good dmg on very high price- slow guns on slow ships.
About the Tizzona nerf - you could add some dps to it really 40-80 to 100 more it will make Tizzonas like at least useful.
As far about the Coladas I hope the Dev team will come up with some usable option after this being already discussed.
Good option is to add Tizona Transport turret for the Corsairs- corsairs do pirate a lot and they do need good de-shielding options.
Big part of Corsair RP- Pirating and using its own tech is hurt by this series of nerfs.
Praetorian needs it old stats- I cannot see any reason to nerf it that bad if I compare it with Hessian and RM bombers-both are faster and have more features.
Viable option will be to use the nice core nerfing plugin to nerf corsair IDs using non corsair technology big time- in RP corsairs use corsair stuff.
Since Tizonnas are mega nerfed it means that Loberas are ulta nerfed- Correo does not even have slots to mount Tizzona turrets- add it please.
Corsair HF Centurion is really big and slow and have not corsair like armour it had Loberas on class 8 guns to compensate- now it sux.
Osiris needed a nerf - but make it useless with 5 primary slots when it has the lowest base armour and lowest core from all BSs is a bad joke made to corsairs and order. It needs 3 heavy slots and rest secondary slots- so it could fits his role- cruiser like bombing BS that have good optons to protect itself vs snubs but dies for sure if it face 2 cruisers or 1 battleship- now it cannot fight effectively nothing.

We dont have problem with that.
We are happy with our tech and what we used to have.
But now they are cutting our options too.
This is madness....
According to vanilla we used to have best ship and weps.. Times changed.. We got nerfed in some sides.. But now they are nerfing our every ships and weps.. And they think its right!!!!
I used to have faith on admins and devs that what they will do,will be good for everyone but now i see they are so heavily biased that they are not in mood to doing what is right.

4) For the 100th time, Hessians are the third biggest unlawful group in Sirius, with lots of allies in and out Rheinland, and big support by the people of Rheinland inRP too.

Discovery sticks to the lore. And There is no way a hessins manufacture there own bs design. Its just heavy support that you got from devs and admins. We dont care what you got and what you have.
We dont have conspirator like you have.
However we will stand together with whats left of us and whatever crap we have. Start ganking.

Blaming the Hessians for the Corsair nerfs is dumb and childish so I'd appreciate if everybody would stop doing it. Those who insist on playing the hessian conspiracy card should admit that, like Satan said, their tech was superior to ours anyway so they had no reasons to want to nerf us in the first place.
Btw, the story about how you got the forward cannon would be funny if I wouldn't know the truth and just because the Sails will RP getting a Valor doesn't mean someone will actually give it to us. But it's ok since Novas feed on your new toy like a corsair in a McDonalds :nyam:
Anyway, the Corsairs got nerfed and we have to deal with it some way or the other. Some things (the Coladas or the Osiris which was supposed to have 2 class 10 slots but for some reason it doesn't, for example) will get fixed while others will not.
Once the most important things get fixed maybe the Centurion will get a proper Corsair powercore (now 900/9000 while the Gladiator has 1100/10400) and armor (now 8500 while the Gladiator has 9200) and the Correo will be able to mount Tizona turrets since its one of the few if not the only freighter (!!!) that can not mount the new Class 2 turrets

But the way satan and some others are supports nurfing corsairs its looks like conspiracy. Besides whatever happens i know you will not leave neither do i.

My idea was that rather than simply saying "look at how good the Hessians are, they came up with all the tech for the battleship all by themselves", we would be getting bits and pieces from different forces across Sirius to build "the better weapon".
Funnily enough, if I just simply went with saying it was a completely Hessian research project, I wouldn't be getting flamed by McNeo (and now many other Corsairs probably) across many chats (and even this thread and another thread as well via snarky comments) over "stealing" something from Liberty that we don't even get to use, nor was it going to be useable in the first place:DThe plan was never to get any actual Liberty tech in gameplay. It ended like it ended because well, when I first proposed it, it ended up causing a huge flame war in Lib HC chat because "how dare the Hessians do this" and "yet another i stole it story" which resulted in Ross ragequitting the chat, then before the first event there was another, smaller disagreement which nonetheless got me demotivated further, and then after it it was a few weeks to release and I really wanted to wrap this up quickly.
Woe be upon me for thinking I could get some RP out of this for my own faction, even though the fwd gun would appear on the BS regardless of how we RPed it.
Just pointing out how there are two sides to the skype rage that is no doubt happening since I asked Joe if I can just conclude the deal via some RP with HF. So much oorp problems over a glorified mortar that has no rotation option and needs to be aimed by rotating the whole ship... shame on you guys.

There's not a lot that one can add really at this point. It's understandable that people with corsair chars who have received nothing new and had some of their existing stuff nerfed will feel aggrieved and perhaps vent frustration at their in-RP enemies who have just gotten a shiny new toy and are playing with it vigorously. It's not really fair though because a lot of work went into getting that new toy, the faction waited a long time for a ship of that class (and suffered in many a battle on multipe fronts due to the lack of it). As stated above, the faction leader simply tried to do the right thing and provide an RP basis for that new toy/ship (and more specifically it's forward gun) instead of taking the easy/lazy way out and doing nothing. That course of action also led to RP and events for other factions over the past few months too. Lastly, while I can understand why it would have been difficult for the LN to swallow (that forward gun parts were stolen from them), options were obviously limited and every effort was made to do it properly; several attempts to move the tech out of Liberty while fighting off LN forces (in the form of events) were made - and failed. In the end, another way was found. To be honest, I can't see how the work put into this by those involved (which actually doesn't include myself) can be viewed as anything other than positive.
