Official Faction Spring Cleaning - Treewyrm - 04-05-2008 In which case I'm just going to avoid posting in others' feedback threads then if that goes up. That and there are enough one-time limited experiences here as well, to bring them on and wave around as if its a whole picture is narrow-minded. Common sense. Say, QCRF since Unselie seems so eager to do this. Now that is a brilliant idea! If we start with both the Liberty Rogues and QCRF, that would be grand! That and there are enough one-time limited experiences here as well, to bring them on and wave around as if its a whole picture is narrow-minded. Common sense.I don't quite get who that's aimed at, my suggestion was for anyone purposefully attempting to close a thread by igniting the flamethrower be penalised, a genuine misguided attempt at feedback should not be punished. Mwerte, Eppy has agreed to have the 101st be our lab rat for this if need be. ' Wrote:Now that is a brilliant idea! If we start with both the Liberty Rogues and QCRF, that would be grand!Liberty Rogues went up after the Admin's took charge and after the faction requests forum went live. We've had plenty of feedback already but if you feel it'd help then I'll stick my neck on the line. Del, just put details in your idea, give it more heavy brain crunching thinking, should work I think, but also understand that I'm quite skeptical about it. Past experience haven't been much constructive, so I can only hope this one somehow will be different. Some flameproof armor that can take hot temperatures. It's happened before but IMO it leads to heavy-handed admining and a place where people CANNOT disagree with the admins.I'd actually suggest a short break from the forums, say 24 hours, no in game punishment, but if temp banning someone from the forums is too much work then a short sharp shock via the sanctions would have to be the way to go. It's not a mtter of disagreeing with the admins in this case, it's a matter of trying to shut down intelligent, adult debate with peurile nonsense and flames. It should not be stood for. Official Faction Spring Cleaning - Othman - 04-05-2008 Would recieving the feedback via using polls eliminate the unwanted excess and stray of attention? I think it's a great idea AND I have confidence that this will turn out to be a flame fest, but I also think that from the rumble a renewed community can arise. Official Faction Spring Cleaning - Reverend Del - 04-05-2008 ' Wrote:Would recieving the feedback via using polls eliminate the unwanted excess and stray of attention?A poll can be set-up in such a way as to avoid sensitive areas certainly, but those sensitive areas may be what's wrong with the faction, full opinions are needed, to cover all possibilities in a poll would be massive. Polls are not an option for this kind of endeavour. ' Wrote:Well, if Dieter allows me I try and can work on the Mandalorians'.I don't think it'll be a flame fest, although I will be bringing a fire extinguisher to any thread I may be perusing just in case. But yes from the ashes as it were. Official Faction Spring Cleaning - Unseelie - 04-05-2008 Lots of polls. A poll can only as a question....so you would have to be able to give a choice, which means you would already suspect if something were wrong... What if you just asked for input? I believe that would be a much broader tool than a poll. |
